In this entry, we find out that The Runaway Five is in trouble again, we visit a dinosaur museum, and we head back to the desert and find a mine.
The cop near the Monotoli Building, which is northeast of the Dinosaur Museum, will know who you are if you talk to him.
Inside the building is a guy who lost his shirt in a solitaire tournament. There is also a phone as wel as an elevator. If you take the elevator, you can meet Pokey at the top. The bellhop will also tell you not to look at her hips.
Aside from Pokey, you can meet Pokey's father, who is now living the life of a rich man thanks to Pokey, in the door to the left past the bodyguards. The door to the right will have Pokey himself, and if you talk to him, he will call himself Master Pokey and refuse to help you before kicking you out of the room.
At the Dinosaur Museum, you can learn about dinosaurs at $5 per person. You'll also get your picture taken in front of the information sign by the photographer when you approach the sign. The guy blocking the door at the end is Mr. Spoon, the academic researcher. He will tell you that there are unconfirmed reports of live dinosaurs in the lower side of Scaraba who may have eaten the people there.
From here, you can head to the Topolla Theater and buy a ticket to watch the show. After using the show ticket to get past the usher blocking your path, you'll be able to head backstage. If you talk to them, you'll find out that The Runaway Five got cheated by the theater owner again. You'll also find out that you'll need their help to meet Monotoli. Afterwards, you'll catch The Runaway Five's show.
To the left of the theater is the owner's office. She will tell you that The Runaway Five owes her a million dollars and will be in deep trouble if they break their contract, and the only way to pay a million dollars on their behalf would be to find buried gold. From here, you'll have to head back to the desert and go back to the shack where the guy was digging.
When you head back to where the hole leading underground was, you'll find a whole cave. There will be a healer with blue hair and a moustache ready near the cave as well as a store where you can buy some healing items. You can still use the shack to heal up and save the game, which is nice if you need to level up at this point in the game.
When you enter the mine, the man at the entrance will tell you that he found a maze with five big moles. You'll need to defeat the moles in order to get the million dollars.
The Thirsty Coil Snake is a more powerful snake than the green ones you've met earlier in the game, and they will Poison you. Freeze Beta will do a lot of damage to it and easily kill it.
Paula will learn Defense Down Alpha at Level 29, which allows you to lower the defense of one enemy.
Throughout the maze, you will face five Gigantic Moles. They are all convinced that they are the third-strongest mole in the maze, and the words "No. 3" will be in the background when you fight them. They are vulnerable to Freeze, so use powerful Freeze attacks as well as Flash Alpha. Hit them with bottle rockets if you need to do a bunch of damage without using PP. Be careful if they use power shields, as those shields can deflect physical damage back on the attacker and do 50% of the damage done to the mole.
The Coin of Defense will obviously raise the defense of whoever equips it.
The Gigantic Ant can steal PP from your party and is vulnerable to Freeze Beta. It can also call for other Gigantic Ants to fight alongside it. The Noose Man is obviously a sentient noose and can be set on fire with Fire, and can also perform a binding move that can stop a party member from moving.
