HCBailly plays Terranigma - Part 34 of 75

After taking part in an election that we can only take part in due to the fact that there are basically no election laws other than "one vote per person," we go exploring.

Loire and Neotokio maps by Amir Azadur.

Loire

Leave the town, then come back. The recess will be over, and if you head back to the message board, you'll see a ballet box.

If you vote for Louis, nothing happens. The town will be in this state forever, and it will never grow. If you vote for Jean, the town will prosper like it never could under the king. Naturally, you'll want to vote for Jean to get extra stuff. From there, head back to the well in the center of town. You'll be told to return later when the votes are counted.

Leave the town and come back again. Head back to the well. Whoever you voted for will win by just one vote. Whoever loses will assist the winner in running the town. Since we voted for Jean, Louis will be relieved and feel that maybe it's better this way for the town, and Jean will tell you that he is tabulating the opinions of the people to see how best to run the town.

If you talk to Keinz now that you've elected Jean. He'll tell you that the town will grow, but it will take time. You'll have to leave the entire region, enter another town, and then come back to Loire to see change.

Head back to the Nomads' camp and give a flower you got from the flower girl to the girl who cannot speak. The girl will talk, and asks if she can't have it, let her. She'll tell you her name is Chija. Remember this for later.

Cross the Indus River and head back to Safarium. Go into the path to the Lion's Den and head to the left. You'll find a mini-game that you can play for a Magirock. Hit as many gray monsters as you can within 30 seconds, but don't hit the yellow monster or else you'll lose points. If you can get 30 points in thirty seconds, you'll get Magirock #48. Thankfully, the monsters are only in three locations in front of the guy who runs the mini-game, and it doesn't take long to learn how to do this.

You can still talk to the bird who brought you here. Choose the exclamation points when you have a choice between those and the periods, and you'll be able to fly back to Kingnest. Thankfully, your former bird friend will still understand that you want to go somewhere. At Kingnest, talk to the middle bird and make the same dialogue choices. You'll make it to Japan. Go south to enter Neotokio.

Neotokio

Enter the building to the left of the entrance and take the left door. Inside will be Magirock #49.

There is an antique shop in the upper-right corner of town. The woman next to the door says that there is supposedly a wild animal being held unlawfully in the building, but there isn't any proof that there is and to call the police if you find any. If you go into the building and talk to the guy inside, he'll insist there is no wild animal there.

You can rest up and save in the hotel if you need to.

If you talk to any of the other people, they stay some pretty strange stuff.
