jasonsgroovemachine of LowBiasGaming plays DecapAttack - Part 7 of 7

Here it is: the final stretch! Let's beat Max D. Cap and bring the island back together again!

Eyeland

World 7-1

The level goes from a linear stage to a little bit of a maze, but like all the mazes in the game, it's pretty easy to get through.

You'll be seeing larger, non-breakable statues with interesting looking skulls on them. You can stand on the heads, believe it or not.

World 7-2

It's going to be an interesting way down. Keep kicking your legs so you don't fall into lava (or so you can use the springboard walls to get away from it).

World 7-3

The boss is none other than Max D. Cap. Who else were you expecting?

Avoid his stomp attack and the rocks that come down, and smack in the head repeatedly. His nastiest attack is his fireball that homes in on you. When he stops moving and has his mouth wide open, you know he's about to launch it.

The fireball has homing capabilities, and the only way to get rid of it is to wait it out (and hopefully not get hit, as using the head makes it easier to hit Max from far away). It moves pretty slowly, but it can get pretty annoying.

When he starts changing colors, he'll start firing off two fireballs instead of one. Start using the yellow potions to get rid of him before he becomes much more of a problems.

The lone underwater part of the stage contains the chalice, the last treasure of the game. If you're looking for it, there it is.

After beating Max D. Cap, Chuck staggers home. He collapses at Frank N. Stein's house, where he and his assistant reward Chuck D. Head by making him a human. You've won!
