jasonsgroovemachine of LowBiasGaming plays DecapAttack - Part 2 of 7

This time around, you'll be swimming for the first time, taking on another set of enemies.

El Beau Island

World 2-1

Some statues will contain enemies when you break them, so be careful. THey'll usually be little purple guys wearing ghost sheets who jump and fly back and forth.

You'll see water for the first time in the game here, and it brings its own enemies into the fray: otters and skeleton fish. You can swim in it, thankfully.

The geysers shoot steam that will push you up. They stop shooting steam up briefly, so if you need to jump over them, you'll have to be quick.

The red rods can be climbed on and rocked back and forth. Do that, then jump in the direction you want to jump to get some extra leverage.

World 2-2

You'll see breakable blocks that can be attacked at the start, as well as the jellyfish. They will quickly approach you when you get close enough, so be ready to attack.

If a mini-Chuck pops out of a statue after you break it, grab him before he runs away! You'll get an extra life for your efforts.

You'll have to traverse some platforms that either go up or down, all while crossing a large pool of lava near the end. Be patient, and if you need to, use the birds as a platform.

World 2-3

The area here is very linear, but it does get narrow.

Search high and low for the statues. One of them below the lava pool at the beginning contains a book. which you'll need to collect for this level.

You could go straight to the end, but if you go right, you'll face the boss. The boss here is a giant frog that jumps around and shoots smaller frogs out of its body. Don't stand too close, because you'll either be pounced on by the giant frog or hit by one of the smaller frogs that it launches.

If you have the skull, you'll be able to do a lot of damage from a distance. Otherwise, get one or two hits in, then move away.
