Bladedlightning/CaptainVulgarity plays Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions - Part 3 of 11

We switch from fire to water for the second stage. Also, if Daffy is a duck, why can't he float or swim?

20,000 Martians Under The Sea

Planet: Aquarion-4
Type: Marine
Size: So-so
Atmosphere: Muggy, Chance Of Rain

This time around, you're destroying Marvin's undersea lab as well as any chances of an instant Martian army.

Once again, you'll be able to purchase weapons and such at the store. You have a lot more dosh this time, so choose wisely and stock up on the essentials!

Section 1

You'll be walking on top of some dragon-like thing while the water goes up and down. Watch out for the mines as you go. To climb up the walls, jump onto the larger dragon scales.

You'll find a Three-Way gun just before you meet Marvin again. He'll drop his Martian seeds into the water, causing them to turn into Martians that jetpack straight for you, while lightning strikes in the background. Keep moving and avoid the Martians, and you'll soon see the dragon's two heads.

The right one blows you to the left, while the left one spits fire. If you take care of the one on the left first, you'll take down both of them instantly.

After every few shots, both heads will duck down into the water temporarily before they resurface to continue their attack. If you do take down the head on the right first, you'll have an easier time taking the left down from the other end of the screen.

Section 2

I swear, if someone sings "Under The Sea" from The Little Mermaid one more time...

The fish aren't too hard. The hammerhead shark moves up and down as it goes back and forth, and when it sees you it will go for you. The fish with the propeller fins in the back just moves back and forth in a straight line. Get behind it and start blasting. The squid moves in short diagonal spurts, and can be best dealt with using the Three-Way Gun. The pufferfish, though, are the worst. They expand after one shot, and when they're just a few shots away form death, they'll try to run into you and self-destruct. If you can kill them before that happens, you'll get their cash. If they hit you, you won't. Gee, thanks, game.

Shooting in the water pushes you back further than usual, and you can launch yourself higher in the air as well because of it. This will definitely help with getting around in the rest of the level, so be wise with your jetpack fuel...you won't be finding much here, anyway.

The second Martian you see on the right path has a Three-Way Gun, and if you take the top tube below the ground that's below the first floating platform at the beginning, you'll find another Continue Gem.

The submarines have depth charges...and they are deadly. Take them on from the side, as doing it form below usually brings nasty results. You'll find an Anti-Matter Gun afterwards. It's the most powerful (and expensive) gun in the game, and works well against many normal enemies and bosses. Use it wisely.

After the second continue point, go down the tube and go right. Jump-shoot to get another Continue Gem, then go back and go left.
