We nab the rest of the collectibles and finish off the level!

Skelos Badlands

Near the exit is an area with four catbats that fly higher than the rest of them. In that area is a rocket which will destroy the metal box near the beginning of the stage.

When you destroy sixteen enemies, you'll activate the Invincibility power-up. It not only makes you invulnerable to enemy attacks, it also allows you to walk freely on the lava as long as it's in effect...which isn't long. Do what you need to do with it and get out of whatever danger zone you're in, as you'll need this power-up to get the third orb.

There's also another mystery vase near the end, by the way.

2. You need to get #1 to do this one. Once you get the first orb, there'll be a second wave of Lava Lizards! Take them

3. The Lava Toads have taken the bones of the skeleton friend of one of the cavemen in this level. Defeat them to get the bones back. When you get all eight bones back, you'll be able to rebuild the little guy and get another orb.

Skill Points

Skelos Badlands

All Cacti - Flame all the cacti in the level for a Skill Point and an extra life.

Catbat Quartet - You know where that rocket was that destroyed the metal box. Head over there and use the rocks that come out of the lava to destroy the four catbats here - the ones that fly higher than the others in the level. Taking the time to do so will give you a Skill Point and an extra life.
