It sure didn't take long for the game to give us a change of scenery. Welcome to Stage 2!
Stage 1-5
At the start of the level, go up, get the balloon, and leave it on the way up to the top so Daffy Duck runs into it.
Little Ghost returns from the second Game Boy game, and this time, he can teleport up or down one platform level.
You'll be able to find a couple of keys at the top of the level.
The sledgehammer allows you to break certain blocks just by running into them. The sledgehammer and the pickaxe, which also returns from the second and third games, can be seen in the lower-right corner.
Stage 2-1
In Stage 2, you'll be in an underground cave.
The shield with the S is an invincibility shield, but it only protects you from enemies; it does not outright kill them unlike the invincibility you get from ten carrots.
You can go up and down pipes with Up (assuming you can reach them from above) or Down on the Control Pad.
The rock squares can be climbed over with the pickaxe, which you'll soon see here.
The spiral shells can be pushed into enemies as well as off cliffs onto enemies to get rid of them.
This is where you'll first see the Mimic. When in a room with two chests, always hold away from the chest with D-Pad when you open a chest in case it is a Mimic, so you don't get bitten.
Stage 2-2
Not much to say about this one. There are multiple Daffy Duck enemies, much like in Stage 2-1, and you'll need to get the pickaxe in order to get all of the keys. Be ready to utilize your weapons and pause the game to look around the level and see where you haven't been.
