Stage 11 takes place in a castle with indoor areas and outdoor areas that are linked to each other. You'll need to figure out where the maze-like indoor chambers go in order to get around each level.

Stage 11-1

Stage 11 takes place in a castle that has both indoor and outdoor areas.

There are two kinds of doors here. You have the regular doors that lead to items, but you have the open arches with light coming out of them. The open arches to indoor areas with multiple doors leading back outside, and these doors can be used to get from one area to another. Sometimes that other area cannot be reached one foot and you'll have to go in and out of "both sides" of the level in order to get everywhere. If you need to go in a certain direction outside, you'll need to go in that direction inside.

The bell is the usual "push this into an enemy" to destroy them item.

Stage 11-2

Sadly, when you are in the indoor areas of Stage 11, the game does not let you pause like you can in the main outdoor area, as the game wants to treat the indoor areas much like the treasure rooms, where you also cannot pause. This can be an inconvenience, especially when there are enemies about and you're trying to figure out which doorway back out leads to where or where the pipes in the room take you.

Also, Yosemite Sam is hanging out near the exit. This leads to two near-death experiences.
