Stage 10, despite having a cool location, is where ALL of the levels become long and stay that way. This is the part where progress can slow to an absolute crawl.
Stage 10-1
Stage 10 looks like something out of a mad scientist's laboratory, which makes for an interesting setting for a whole stages. Not surprisingly, you're going to see a lot of Gossamers through the eight (yes, eight) levels this stage has.
There are conveyor belts throughout these levels; pay attention to where they go.
The red tiles on the floor are springboards that will take you to higher areas.
Stage 10-2
Stage 10-2 reintroduces elevators from the third game. Believe it or not, these things are safe zones, and and enemies will not even step foot on them. They won't even set foot on the bottom of the areas where the elevators are.
You'll also have a mess of pipes in the upper-right corner of this room. By pausing the game and looking around, you'll be able to find out where you can go - and also where you can also walk off a ledge - to get around.
