PrinceWatercress plays The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 4 - Part 5 of 27

Stage 4-1 takes us to new heights as we head to the mountains and meet a few new enemies. You'll want to be very careful about where you're going if you want to avoid the enemies and find all the doors.

Stage 4-1

Beaky Buzzard shows up as an enemy here. He acts more or less like Witch Hazel in this game, and can also move upwards. He also sits down to rest occasionally like the Leprechaun.

The rocks can be used to get rid of enemies.

You can get the sledgehammer soon after the start; just keep going up. You're definitely going to need it at the start, as there are stacks of two blocks that will be blocking doors containing much needed pick-ups.

The lightning bolt will cause the screen to flash when you leave the room you collected it in; while the screen is briefly flashing, any enemy that appears on-screen will immediately be defeated.

Make sure to pause and look around with the Control Pad, when you need to, and make sure to climb down rather than drop down so you don't randomly fall into an enemy. This is good advice not only for this level, but also all of Stage 4.

Stage 4-2

The gorilla enemies will charge into you if you are in front of them for too long, so keep a good distance away and make sure you're not in front of them when they briefly stand still to beat their chest.

Once again, you're going to need the sledgehammer in this level, as once again, there will still be doors hidden behind stacks of breakable rocks.

Stage 4-3

A brown block is obviously for the sledgehammer, but a blue block is for the pickaxe. You're going to need to look for both to clear this level, of course.
