PrinceWatercress plays Donkey Kong Land 2 - Part 1 of 15

We're back with more Donkey Kong goodness on Game Boy, and this time, we're playing the game based on Donkey Kong Country 2, which doesn't stray as far from the source material as the first Land game did.

All maps by Shiny.

Gangplank Galleon

Pirate Panic

Bonus areas: One (1)

The controls are the same as ever: A jumps, B runs and attacks, Left and Right let you move around, Start pauses and Select lets you switch between Diddy and Dixie. This time around, if you hit a DK barrel and get your other Kong, you'll get an icon on the lower-right corner near your lives telling you that you have your other Kong. The other Kong is your extra hit, and if you have only one Kong when you get hit, you will lose a life.

There are warp barrels that let you take a shortcut to the end of the stage, and they are available only in the first world. To find the one for Pirate Panic, just make a running jump to the right after the second Neek and use Dixie's helicopter spin to land in an invisible barrel. After going through the door to the right, you'll be at the end.

Enemies you'll meet for the very first time include the Neeks (the rats that move back and forth) and the slow-moving pegleg Kremlings, and the Klobbers who hide in barrels and run at you to bump you around when you get too close.

Just like in Country 2, there are bananas to collect for 1-Ups, Banana coins for in-game services such as world warping and game saving, Kong letters that actually let you get an extra life from them this time around, and 1-Up balloons that will give you an extra life when grabbed.

The barrel with the stars spinning around it is a checkpoint. Hit the Star Barrel, and you'll return to it instead of the beginning of the stage when you lose a life.

Also, there will be bonus areas. Each one has one of three tasks to perform - find the coin, collect the coins, or destroy all the enemies - that you'll have to do to get the Kremkoin to appear so you can collect it, all before the timer on the upper-right corner goes to zero. There's only one here, and to get to it, just jump to the right of the first Banana coin in the stage and use Dixie's helicopter spin to get to it. Once you're in, jump onto the barrels to get your first Kremkoin. Just like in Country 2, you must collect the Kremcoin to get credit for the bonus stage.

There are a few extra lives in the stage, and one of them rises up from a pit in the middle of the stage where the O is.

The DK Coins also come back here. To get the one in this stage, jump up to the top of the barrels where the N is, then jump into the barrel cannon to the right. The cannons will automatically take you to the DK Coin.

Crates can be thrown pretty much like barrels, just like in Country 2.

The end of the stage is indicated by a target platform. Jump onto it, and you'll clear the stage. If you've found all the bonus areas in a stage, a "!" will be shown on the right. If you found the DK Coin, you'll see a DK Coin icon over there as well.

Mainbrace Mayhem

Bonus areas: One (1)

You'll meet the Knick-Knacks - the beetles that move back and forth, take two bops to kill and have the ability to be carried around like barrels for a few seconds - for the first time here. A cartwheel or hair spin will beat them down in one shot. You'll also meet the Klingers, who climb up ropes before sliding back down. In this game, if you hold Left or Right to transfer from one rope on a rope ladder to the other and run into a Klinger, you'll bump him off automatically, getting rid of him. Thanks, game.

You'll also meet the Zingers for the first time here. The bees are back, and once again, they'll get in the way of things, whether it's a good jump or a good pick-up.

The DK coin is below the O. Just drop down and grab the ropes. It will be to your right.

To find the Warp Barrel go up a bit in the left, and as soon as you're able to go all the way back to the left, switch to Dixie and use your helicopter spin to float downwards. The Warp Barrel will be to the left of the top of the rope ladder you'll find.

The stage's lone bonus area is all the way to the right after the Star Barrel. Here, you'll be collecting stars. Climb your way through the area while collecting all the stars, and a Kremkoin will be yours.

Gangplank Galley

Bonus areas: One (1)

The Warp Barrel is at the very start of the level. Go all the way to left and get on top of the barrels. Jump onto the hook to grab it. Finally, we're seeing hooks that let us jump to other areas for the first time! Jump to the right for another hook, then jump to the right again and keep helicopter spinning to the right with Dixie until you enter an invisible barrel. Go to the right and you're done.

The big muscular guys are called Krunchas. Jumping on them makes them mad, and jumping on them while they're mad will cost you a Kong. Throw barrels at them instead, since you can't do tag throws in this game. Also, the Kremlings making wild jumps are Kaboings, and they have two spring-loaded peg legs that allow them to make big jumps.

The barrel with the rhinoceros head on it lets you change into Rambi. You can run into enemies or press B to attack them, and if you off-screen the barrel location and go back to it, you can make the barrel re-spawn and give yourself an extra hit/Kong. By holding Select for a second or two, you'll be able to use Rambi's supercharge when you let go of the button. When you run into a sign with a "no" symbol on it, you'll become a Kong again and you'll get a reward for getting your animal buddy to the sign.

After the "no Rambi" sign, jump up the hooks and jump to the barrel cannon you see on the right to get the G. You'll end up on another hook. Hold Down and press A to drop down and get the Banana coin, and you'll be on another hook. Hold Down and press A to drop down again, and this time you'll land in the Bonus Area. Destroy all the enemies and get to the end before time runs out to get your third Kremkoin. When you leave the Bonus Area, go to the left to get the DK Coin.

From here, you can go to Kong Kollege and save your game. All you can do here is save your game for two coins (though your first save is free); you cannot get stage hints here.

PrinceWatercress plays Master of Darkness (SMS) - Part 5 of 5

We find out what Count Massen was up to all along: summoning Dracula. Too bad Dracula is easy in this game.

Round 5: In The Wake Of Dracula

Round 5, Stage 1

This maze loops in on itself vertically, and if you're good with how Dr. Social controls, you can memorize what's in every white mask and get the power-ups you want.

At the beginning of this area, go all the way to the right and go down the stairs in the first two floors. On the third floor, go all the way to the left and go down the stairs there. The mask to your right will contain stakes; take them. Above the stairs to the left is even more stakes; take those, too. From there, go all the way to the left, destroy the mask that is high up for even more stakes, then destroy the blocks blocking the narrow pit in the lower-left corner. Drop down and hold Right on the Control Pad as you go. The center-right mask contains a potion, the center-left mask contains more stakes and the upper mask contains a dagger that's meant to troll you. If you want to restore the masks, drop down the pit to the left, as it will keep taking you to this room every time. Head to the right, and you'll face Count Massen one more time. He will tell you that you are in Count Dracula's castle in Transylvania and the only way out is to die.

To beat Massen, jump onto the small wooden platforms and throw stakes at him while avoiding Massen's blue fireballs and the pikes that jut in and out of the floor. If you can get close enough and hit him with your ax, do it. After a short battle, Massen will go down. When you beat him, go all the way to the left. When the screen flashes white, hold Left to ensure you go all the way to the left. Bats will rise from below the floor from left to right, then Count Dracula will show up. He will split into four, then Dracula and his clones will keep moving to the left in mid-air and occasionally send a circle of bats at you.

Stay to the left, jump straight up and throw a stake so that you hit him in the legs. As long as you don't hit the bats that fly around or the real Count Dracula, you'll be fine. You'll eventually be able to defeat Dracula and beat this game once and for all.

As for how the game ends, Dr. Social heads into the nearest town, meets Jonathan Harker - one of the main protagonists from Bram Stoker's Dracula - and gets directions back to a now-peaceful England in one of the most chill cop-outs and deus ex machinas I've ever seen. The game concludes by saying that Dracula may strike again one day.

PrinceWatercress plays Master of Darkness (SMS) - Part 4 of 5

In this entry, we finally catch up to Count Massen.

Round 4: Laboratory

Round 4, Stage 1

Hawks will swoop down in an attempt to dive at you. Some of them move back and forth while others keep going straight ahead. Jump over the ones that dart straight ahead.

At the part with all of the brown blocks, you can break the wall to the right and take a secret passage that lets you skip the route at the bottom. If you take the nearby stairs downward, however, you'll miss out on a wall potion.

After you get out of the underground passage, you'll be able to do some digging. Stand on the third row of the brown blocks and hack at the walls. If you can make a path to the left, you'll get the fourth and most powerful of the sub-weapons: the stake. Grab as many of these as possible and keep them, you'll definitely need them.

Round 4, Stage 2

Shortly after you go up the stairs, you'll have to deal with the possessed objects from Round 2.

The flashing rooms with the sirens are back, but they work a little different here: instead of destroy ing all of the enemies, you just have to destroy the first enemy that shows up. This is easier if you have the stake in the second and third room; you'll be able to throw a stake at the portrait and the candelabra respectively so you won't have to break some walls to get to them.

Round 4, Stage 3

The lightning orbs that fly around in a circle act as platforms. At a certain point, they stop spinning before going in the opposite direction.

There are plenty of potions in the wall if you know where to attack the walls.

Near the end, you'll have to backtrack to get to a 1-Up in a small room, but you will have to get back down to where you were and deal with re-spawning enemies; either way, it's the easiest extra life to get.

There will be some stakes you can pick up at the end.

At the end, you'll meet Count Massen again. Hit him before he throws his fireball and teleports. When the fireball splits into four, duck in the lower-right corner; the fireballs will almost never hit you. Massen will eventually show back up, and when that happens, you'll want to hit him again.

After you beat Count Massen again, Massen will beg Count Dracula to grant him his power. The room will flash white, then Dr. Social will be imprisoned inside a cage. Social manages to break himself out, but he soon finds out he is in a maze.

YTP Short- A Very Sub~Par Thanksgiving (by Tinfoil Gamgee)

Happy Thanksgiving, I guess.

PrinceWatercress plays Master of Darkness (SMS) - Part 3 of 5

We head to the graveyard for this stage...and the plot thickens...

Round 3: Epitath

Round 3, Stage 1

When you start the stage, keep an eye out for zombies that come out of the ground and attack them when they come your way. When you enter the clock tower, you'll be able to destroy a few walls for some hidden gun ammo.

In the tower part afterwards, your main goal is to take the drop at the center. Once you're there, you can explore a little bit and make your way to the right side of the tower, and you can also get a potion on the way there. If you can get to the blocked off area on the right side of the tower, you can get a 1-Up.

Round 3, Stage 2

The start of the stage introduces the skeleton knights. Sometimes they will slash at you; other times, they will charge at you.

When you start climbing the stairs in the church area, stay on the stairs when the bats come at you. If you're at the wall, you're going to be knocked into the area below, and that's no fun. Once you see the small platforms at the top, all you need to do is take them to get to the exit.

Round 3, Stage 3

The start of this stage introduces hooded men who shoot beams out of their swords. Some of them stay in place; others move back and forth.

The giant light green pendulum can be stood on to get to other areas. For the second pendulum, you'll have to leap onto the pendulum, then leap straight up to get to the rest of the area.

When you reach the top, walk off the right edge; jumping off will result in you dying.

You'll then meet a man in red who flies around and shoots fireballs. Hit him when you can, and be ready to dodge fireballs, especially when he speeds up. When he slows down and eventually stops, get a few shots in, then stand in the center of the clock tower and hit him before he hits you with his sword. After two sword dives, the pattern repeats. You'll beat him in no time.

After the battle, you'll find out the man in red is Count Massen, who has been rumored to live in an old faraway castle and studying the black arts. Dr. Social soon heads to his castle.

PrinceWatercress plays Master of Darkness (SMS) - Part 2 of 5

Our adventure takes us into a wax museum...and what we learn here makes it even more dangerous!

Round 2: The House of Wax Dolls

Round 2, Stage 1

When the women in the white dresses start flashing at the beginning of the stage, be ready to either attack them or jump over them. I had better luck jumping over them due to how quick they are.

Once you go a little further in the museum, there will be rooms where the background will flicker and a siren will be heard until you defeat all enemies. For these rooms, you can stay on the right side of the room to defeat all the wax women that teleport into the room and move back and forth.

Round 2, Stage 2

Be careful at the beginning; there are wraiths and bats that will knock you off the platforms. There is knockback in this game, but thankfully, it is nowhere near as bad as the Castlevania games this game is based on. The single square platforms will fall when you land on them.

The knives will fly into the air before stabbing at you. There are also candelabras, chairs, paintings and even tables that will move around and throw themselves into you.

If you can find a Dr. Social doll, grab it. It's a 1-Up. Sadly, the ones in the white masks are not only few and far between, they're also in hard-to-reach places.

Round 2, Stage 3

After the start, you'll have to leap out of the building and get on the rooftops. The bats here will go right up before slowly coming at you. You'll then have to go up a tower. At the top, there is a potion to restore some health in the white mask to the right.

The boss here is a woman in a pink dress who creates smoke that turns into a skull. The bomb is the best sub-weapon to have here, as you can stand in the corner and throw bombs at the skull while it flies around. Otherwise, you'll have to stand on the platforms and anticipate where the skull is going a lot more while trying to both hit and avoid it.

Eventually, the skull will go down, and the woman will go down with it. She will tell you to go to the cemetery east of town before falling unconscious. You'll also learn that Jack The Ripper was collecting bodies and blood as sacrificial offerings to dark forces.

PrinceWatercress plays Master of Darkness (SMS) - Part 1 of 5

Have you not heard the legend of he who rises with the full moon...the legend of the vampire? Well, the story actually happened in England, 100 years ago.

There was an investigator of the paranormal, a young psychologist named Ferdinand Social. On the night of the full moon, he received a mysterious message while using his Ouija board. "KILLER...VAMPIRE...GO TO THAMES...CAUTION...CAUTION...IN THE WAKE OF DRACULA."

This game is also known as Vampire: Master of Darkness.

Round 1: Thames River

Round 1, Stage 1

At that time in London, the rising of the full moon meant the coming of yet another gruesome murder. The following morning would always bring the discovery of yet another body...completely drained of blood. Dr. Social knew that there was something supernatural at the heart of the mystery, and began investigating. Calling on the powers of the Ouija board, Social learned that at the Thames River, horrible events beyond human imagination were taking place.

Believe it or not, this game is a Castlevania clone. You can walk and jump like in Transylvania, but Down-Left and Down-Right will allow you to do a duck walk. Button 1 lets you attack, and Button 2 lets you jump. You can also move diagonally to go up or down stairs. Instead of a whip, however, you have a few short-range weapons: a dagger, a cane, an ax and a sword. You also have sub-weapons with limited ammunition, such as guns and bombs, and you can pick the same one up multiple times to get more ammo. To use them, hold Up and press Button 1. You start out with a dagger, which has short range, and no secondary weapon, but by hitting the white masks that float in the air for power-ups, that will soon change.

Besides your current score, current stage, time remaining and lives remaining, you can see your current primary and sub-weapons at the top of the screen. You'll also see how much life you have remaining. If you can find a vial of red liquid, you will be able to refill four orbs' worth of life on your life meter. Sometimes you'll find them in masks; other times, they will be in walls that you can break with your primary weapon. Attack walls, you never know when you'll find something.

Enemies include bats that will fly around in random patterns that you'll figure out after some time (and will appear in every round of the game), corrupt cops who will shoot at you and dogs that will leap at you when they see you.

If you go underground into the sewers, there will be boats from time to time that move back and forth to take you across the water, which acts as a bottomless pit.

The gray crystal is a screen-clearing bomb that gets rid of all on-screen enemies. If you see any circle-shaped stones, pick them up for points.

The dagger is the weakest primary weapon, while the can has more power and range.

The gun is the weakest sub-weapon. The bomb acts much like the ax in the Castlevania games and is much stronger.

When you beat a stage, you will get a time and life bonus.

If you already have a power-up, pick it up again if you see it. All power-ups give you 1000 points.

Round 1, Stage 2

In this stage, there will be zombies. The rapier has even more range and power than the cane.

Also at this point, you will want to be careful, as enemies such as the dog at the end of the stage will show up and attack from behind.

Also, that rumbling sound you hear in the background is thunder; a thunderstorm was about to hit as I was doing the post-commentary.

Round 1, Stage 3

The ax is the strongest primary weapon in the game, but it doesn't have the range. It can also hit slightly above and forward from where Dr. Social's feet are planted when you attack with it, which makes it useful for the Round 1 boss.

The women flying around are wraiths who just move forward. Slash at them for the points. Some of them will come directly at you from where you can't reach the., so keep an eye out for them.

The boomerangs are much more powerful than the bombs. Unfortunately, you cannot grab them when they return to preserve ammo; once one is used, it's used.

If you hold Button 1 on stairs, you can attack repeatedly; if you press Up while holding Button 1, you can use your sub-weapon on stairs.

Just before every boss, there is always a white mask that contains a dagger. Watch out for it.

The first boss is Jack the Ripper. He will jump around and try to slash at you. There are three platforms, and if you have the ax and you stand between the middle and right platforms, you can keep attacking with the axe without jumping to his level and you can just chop at his feet until he goes down.

After you beat Jack the Ripper, a man in a top hat and a mask shows up and tells you that he has controlling everything that has been happening here. He will tell you to go to the House of Wax if you dare, as he needs a replacement for Jack the Ripper.

THE OWENS IS TIRED OF YOUR SHIT

He should have given him a package piledriver. That's what he should have done.

PrinceWatercress plays Bronkie The Bronchiasaurus - Part 6 of 6

We're in the final level! The layout is a bit maze-like, but at least there aren't bottomless pits all around.

Level 6: Cave

Stage 6-1

When your asthma is controlled it is important to exercise and stay active in school or social activities.

The chemical drip is back, but you'll also have to deal with steam blasts. Both of these are the big asthma triggers for the final level of the game. The orange guys with the runny noses will have a cold, so stay away from them.

The steam will come out of certain points in the ground, and certain points of the pipes - which you can stand or climb around on at certain points - will produce the chemical drips.

Enemies include green guys with big horns that hop towards you at headbutt at you, as well as the green projectile spitters from Level 3. There are also crushers in some ceilings, but thankfully, they do not do a lot of damage.

Questions

When is it OK to participate in school or social activities? When my asthma is under control

When your asthma is controlled and peak flow is in the green zone exercise can help me stay healthy

Stage 6-2

Some Olympic athletes and professional football players hae asthma and they perform well. If you know how to take care of your asthma, you can be an athlete too.

In this stage, the cat comes back.

The bubbles that come out of the lava pop after a while, and if you don't know when to get off, you'll be falling into the lava below.

The fossils in the wall act as platforms. Some of them are smaller than others, but at least they don't break when you stand on them.

Questions

Sports and asthma are fine if my asthma is under control

You want to join a softball team and the coach is worried about your asthma. What can you say? All of these

Stage 6-3

If you have questions about your asthma, or if you have worries or other feelings, it can help if you talk with your family, friends, nurse or doctor.

Shortly after the beginning, there is a picture of a hand pointing upwards on the wall. If you jump into the ceiling there and head to the right, you'll get a health refill, an extra life and a breath attack.

You will backtrack a little bit after getting the Wind Machine piece here; if you take the bubbles to the left, you'll find a new area. Watch out for that last chemical drip at the pipe at the end!

Questions

What should you do if you have trouble breathing just when your family is leaving for a trip? Tell them how I feel

If you feel like you're the only kid who has asthma, you can all of these

Level 6 Boss

Name: Secretary
Height: 3 Hairdoes
Weight: Won't Tell
Hobbies: Wig shopping, juggling small animals

To beat the secretary, keep hitting her with breath attacks. The slimes that travel across the ceiling send chemical drips downward, but they don't damage you. As long as you stay on the move and avoid the pens she throws, you'll be fine.

Final Boss

Name: Mr. Rexo
Height: Unknown
Weight: Unknown
Hobbies: World domination, eating anything

To get past Mr. Rexo, hit the red switch to grab the part that drops down. Stand on the statue head on the wall, hit him in the face with a breath attack, then jump over him and his tail. You'll have to go forward and place a part, then go back to Mr. Rexo and stand on his tail to be brought back to the beginning and then repeat the process. You will have to go longer to place subsequent parts, but once you're past Mr. Rexo, you'll have all the time in the world, and all you need to do is walk into the dotted lines and you'll place the part.

Once you've placed the last part, you'll get the Key to the City from the Mayor and you'll get the credits. Congratulations!

PrinceWatercress plays Bronkie The Bronchiasaurus - Part 5 of 6

We're almost near the end of the game. Guess what? There's more bottomless pits.

Level 5: Canyon

Stage 5-1

Bronchodilators are medicines that open bronchial tubes fast so it is easier to breathe. Do not use bronchodilators more than five times a day.

New asthma triggers include black birds with sunglasses that fly in place and tar. The short, stout grey guys will have colds, so stay away from them, even though they are not seen very often. The birds that fly in place will only appear if you see a tree. Also, even if the tar does not have the smoke that hurts your peak flow, it will still eat away at your health.

You will be doing a lot of climbing in this area, and this level will be a nightmare if you don't now where the bottomless pit is.

The black guys that move back and forth are palette swaps. Also, the pterodactyl enemies from Level 3 are back, and this time, they are green. The men in the cave openings you can't enter are indestructible, and they will try to grab at you.

The gray triceratops on the tar only shows up near the end of this stage, and if you answer his question, you can use him as a platform to get over the tar.

Questions

How many times a day can you use a bronchodilator at home? No more than five times a day

What is a bronchodilator? Medicine that opens my bronchial tubes fast and hels me breathe easier

Stage 5-2

There are many types of asthma medicine. Never use anyone else's. Remember to keep your medicine with you when you leave the house.

This time, the tar will be bubbling. If you hit the bubbles, your peak flow is going to take a tumble.

The green dinosaurs near the vines will throw rocks downwards toward the vines.

Questions

Can you use your friend's asthma medicine? No, my medicine is best for me

When you are not at home you should? Carry my asthma medicine with me

Stage 5-3

Not all asthma medicines are bronchodilators. Some reduce swelling in the walls of bronchial tubes. If you take medicine regularly, it can help control your asthma.

The cat is mentioned as an asthma trigger here, even though the cat has also been seen in past stages in this level.

You'll have to take an alternate route near the beginning to get the inhaler, but good luck getting it, as the jumps towards it are difficult and the inhaler has the tendency to respawn when you're about to get to it.

Questions

Are all asthma medicines bronchodilators? No, some reduce the swelling in bronchial tube walls

Daily asthma medicines help prevent emergencies if you take them regularly

Level 5 Boss

Name: Scruff
Height: 3 Medium Tusks
Weight: 9 Bronkies
Hobbies: Stampedes, sleeping

To beat Scruff, use your breath attacks, as he counter attacks when hit. When he gets too close, jump to the platform in the center and move to the other side. After seven breath attacks, he's down.

PrinceWatercress plays Bronkie The Bronchiasaurus - Part 4 of 6

This time, we're in the sky. Guess what? There's more bottomless pits.

Level 4: Sky
Stage 4-1

Catching a cold is very likely to make your asthma worse. As soon as you catch a cold, be sure to follow your sick day plan.

Cannon smoke and cats will be the new asthma triggers here. Also, the green dinosaur with the snotty nose has a cold, so stay from him.

The clouds below are a bottomless pit. At this point, you should be used to bottomless pits at the bottom of the stages.

The purple dinosaurs with fins and the wagging tails are platforms. Speaking of platforms, the small platforms on the small balloons are platforms, the anchors are definitely and the large balloons on the much larger ships can also be stood on.

The purple dinosaurs with pistols can hit you from afar, so be careful,

Questions

If you catch a cold, what should you do? Start the sick day plan my doctor has given me

What may happen if you catch a cold? My asthma may get worse

Stage 4-2

Be sure to see the doctor regularly to keep your asthma under control.

At this point, there will be a lot more ships than canyons to stand on, and there will also be cannons that shot cannonballs. The cannonballs will drop shortly after being shot out of the cannons. Also, remember that if a vertical rope leads up to a ship, you can leap onto the ship itself from underneath.

Smoke will come out of some of the cannons on the undersides of some of the ships, so be ready to jump over the smoke.

If you see what looks like the front end of a dragon skull, you've reached the end.

Questions

If you have an appointment with your doctor for an asthma check-up, you should go to the appointment no matter how I feel

If you visit the doctor regularly, you can work with my doctor to keep my asthma under control

Stage 4-3

Use a logbook to keep a daily record of your peak flow levels and times when you have taken medicine. It can help your doctor develop the best asthma plan for you.

The fourth moving balloon platform in the stage will dump you into the death point of the bottomless pit if you stay on it as it descends.

Also, you have to come into near-fatal contact with a cat and two green dinosaurs with colds to get the inhaler. As long as you don't jump on the ship until after the second green guy has sneezed, you're good.

This stage is the easiest and shortest of the three normal stages.

Questions

What should you write in your asthma record every day? My peak flow levels and medicine taken

Why is it a good idea to keep an asthma record? It helps my doctor and me make an asthma plan that works best

Level 4 Boss

Name: Peahead
Height: 1 Oak Tree
Weight: 12 Large Boulders
Hobbies: Knitting, sitting on small animals

To beat Peahead, get close and hit him. When he rears down, move back. If you're cornerrd, move directly under him. After several hits, he will go down.

A For Ashtma (YTP by @revergo)

I can't think of anything for an intermission, but I've been looking for this for some time, soooooo....

PrinceWatercress plays Bronkie The Bronchiasaurus - Part 3 of 6

From this point on, there are quite a lot of bottomless pits. You'd better be ready to platform.

Level 3: Jungle

Stage 3-1

There are many asthma triggers, such as smoke, pets, weather changes, and catching a cold. For some people with asthma, contact with a trigger can make asthma worse.

Aside from pollen and brown feathers that you want to avoid, there is also a gray bird with a big orange beak with snot coming out of it. This guy has a cold, and once again, that can wreak havoc on your peak flow. The biggest hazard of all is the platforming itself, as there is no way to look up or down to see if you're going to fall into the leaf-filled bottomless pit below.

Enemies include green dinosaurs who try to spit projectiles at you, big gray pterodactyls that move quickly and swoop down at you, and bigger green dinosaurs who look like an enemy from Bonk's Adventure that move back and forth and follow you around.

Be careful from this point on; past asthma triggers that don't get mentioned at the beginning of a stage can also show up here.

Questions

Asthma triggers could make my asthma worse

Which of these are common asthma triggers? All of these

Stage 3-2

Dust mites are tiny bugs that are asthma triggers for some people. To keep dust mites away, use mattress covers and special allergy-proof pillows.

The triggers are the same, but this time, you'll see the feathers moving around in some of the nests.

Sometimes columns that act as walls at certain elevations will keep you from jumping if you're standing in front of one; walk away from them and you should be able to jump normally.

Questions

To control dust mites you can use an allergy-proof pillow and mattress cover

Dust mites live in all of these

Stage 3-3

Laughing or crying can trigger asthma symptoms for some people. Pollen from plants can trigger asthma if a person is allergic.

There's not much new stuff in this stage.

Questions

Which of these can never make someone's asthma worse? Smiling

Pollen can make my asthma worse if I have a pollen allergy

Level 3 Boss

Name: Rhino
Height: 16 Small Mammals
Weight: 1 Small Mountain
Hobbies: Painting, pouding small animals

To beat Rhino, keep hitting him in the crotch with your normal attack. After four or five hits, jump over him to keep from being smacked, and attack him again. He goes down in sections, and he'll eventually go down completely.

PrinceWatercress plays Bronkie The Bronchiasaurus - Part 2 of 6

Our asthma adventures takes us to the lake. You'd think this would be a better place than the city to be in. It's not.

Level 2: Lake

Stage 2-1

It is important to watch for early warning signs of asthma, such as coughing and shortness of breath.

Asthma triggers to avoid are sprinkles of pollen and brown balls of fur that jump in place that the game calls "furry animals." Also, avoid the orange guy with a big nose and the snot coming out of nostrils, because he has a cold and getting sick is going to wreak havoc on your asthma. If he does get you, you can use the sick day plan when you get it to get back to green.

The water is like a big, huge bottomless pit, so don't even jump into it. If you do, you will lose a whole egg's worth of health. Thankfully, there is always a way to get around, such as the holes in the trees, moss (and snakes) that acts as ladders, and the vines that act as horizontal wires. Just watch out for the purple flowers on said wires; they produce pollen that can wreck your airflow if you get too close.

New enemies include frogs that jump around, red guys who crawl back and forth across horizontal wires, and the orange guys who were mentioned earlier (who cannot be defeated in any way).

While the lily pads do come back, you want to be quick on them anyway, as they will sink into the water quickly. Logs that move back and forth as well as dinosaur heads that move up and down also act as platforms.

Questions

You could avoid serious asthma problems if you watch for early warning signs.

What are some early warning signs of asthma? All of these

Stage 2-2

When your early warning signs begin, tell an adult and check peak flow. If you take medicine and there is no improvement, tell an adult about it.

The asthma triggers are the same as the last stage.

Because the pollen would have been hard to see due to blending in with the sky, you won't see the pollen come out of flowers at higher elevations.

I hate that stupid wooden ship, because that orange guy with the cold is well placed. Thanks, game. If you stand still while in the yellow zone, your character will cough, and you won't to move until the coughing stops.

You've seen him earlier, but the pink guy on the inner tube acts as a platform.

Questions

If your peak flow drops and your asthma medicine is not working, you should tell an adult.

When early warning signs begin all of these.

Stage 2-3

If you have an asthma emergency, tell an adult and try to stay calm. Getting upset can make a bad situation worse.

The asthma triggers for this stage is the same as ever.

Near the end, you'll see snails climbing up and down walls. They can be used as platforms. If you need to use the sick day plan or inhaler, this point would be a good place to do it.

Questions

In an asthma emergency you should all of these

If you become upset when your asthma gets worse, you can all of these

In an asthma emergency you should tell an adult, stay calm, and start my emergency plan

Level 2 Boss

Name: Stego
Height: 6 Giant Anchors
Weight: 2 Dubmarines
Hobbies: Eating frogs, sailing

To beat Stego, hit him in the stomach with your regular attack, and stay away from both him and the green bouncing balls that she spits up into the air upon being hit. If you can stay at just the right distance and hold the Y button, you can get a ton of hits in and beat Stego in seconds.

PrinceWatercress plays Bronkie The Bronchiasaurus - Part 1 of 6

Bronkie and Trakie's adventures can help you learn important things about asthma. But please remember, this game does not tell you how you should take care of your own asthma.

Your doctor can give you an asthma plan that's best for you.

Years ago, meteors struck San Saurian. Explosions filled the air with thick and filthy dust. So the might wind machine was made to clear the air so everyone could breathe. Then Mr. Rexo stole the machine, hid its pieces all over San Saurian and forced other dinosaurs to protect the pieces. Now the dust is coming back! Help Bronkie and Trakie find the lost machine pieces. But don't forget to manage their asthma along the way.

Level 1: City

Along with an animation on how to use an inhaler, you get a hint from Hazel: Bronchial tubes carry air to the lungs. Their walls will swell and tighten when your asthma gets worse.

Before a stage begins, you'll be told of asthma triggers to avoid. For this stage, it is dust sacks and cig smoke. By touching these things, the screen will go dark, and if it gets too dark, you've lost a life.

From the upper-left, you have an indicator showing how well your asthma is faring. Green is good, yellow is your caution color, and red is dangerous. If you leave it red for too long, you will gradually take damage and eventually die. Also, if your peak flow is anywhere below green, you cannot use your breath attack. Next to that is the amount of breath attacks you have, and below that is your health. It takes a while for one of your three eggs to go down, but it eventually happens, and if that happens, you technically lose a life. You can have up to six eggs. If you lose a life, you're going all the way back to the beginning of the stage, as there are no checkpoints. Thankfully, the white icons with the red first aid crosses will recover some of your health.

The controls are pretty simple. Left and Right let you move around, Down lets you crouch, Y lets you attack, A lets you use your breath attack (should you have one) and B lets you jump. If you jump into anything that acts as a ladder or a horizontal wire, you can use Up and Down to grab them. Use Up and Down to climb up and down ladders, and use Left and Right to climb across horizontal wires.

The lungs icon gives you a breath attack. This is a more powerful attack than your stick, which you can stick forward at enemies by pressing Y.

Early on in the stage, you'll meet a green dinosaur with a hunchback, who will ask you a question. If you get it right, you'll be able to continue through the stage. If you get it wrong, you'll have to look for Hazel in an earlier part of the stage to get the answer, then meet him again and answer another question. There will be three questions in a stage, and the game cycles through them at random.

The "Rx" icon and the red inhaler are the sick day plan and an emergency inhaler, respectively, and are needed to get 100% completion for a stage. You don't need to get them, but they make stages a lot easier, as the level design is a bit suspect throughout the game. If you can get them and get through the stage without touching asthma triggers, you can get a perfect round bonus and add an egg to your maximum health as well as breath attacks to add to your breath attack ammunition. If you do touch a trigger, you'll be forced to test your peak flow, then either use the inhaler or the Rx icon should your airflow get bad enough. To do that, press Select and you'll open up an asthma management menu. From here, you can test your peak flow, and you can also use one of your pick-ups to keep from losing a life. The inhaler gets your peak flow back up, as will the Rx icon, which acts as the sick day plan. By using the "test peak flow" option, you can see how to do it in real life; by using the sick day plan, you can get some very generic information about the sick day plan; and by using the inhaler, you can learn how to use an inhaler in real life. "Call for Help" is probably used in a two-player game, now that I think about it.

Enemies include purple guys who walk back and forth and bite, green guys who stay in place and spit projectiles and thin purple guys who run at you.

The red guy wearing white will give you a part piece if you answer his question correctly. You'll also have to answer their questions to move on, too.

By getting the sick day plan and the rescue inhaler and going through the whole stage without using them, we can get a ton of bonus point. Not running into any allergy triggers gives you five breath attacks.

Questions

Bronchial tubes are passageways that carry air

What happens when your asthma gets worse? All of these

Stage 1-2

Peak flow is the strongest breath you can blow into a peak flow meter. If your peak flow goes into the red zone or below half of your usual best, start your emergency plan.

Aside from cig smoke, you'll have to avoid actual smoke that comes out of the chimneys here.

Unlike the first stage, there are now platforms on buildings that move back and forth.

The blue pterodactyl will carry you to another area when you answer his question. All you have to do is leap onto his beak afterwards.

Questions

If your peak flow goes below half of your usual best, you should tell an adult right away and start my emergency plan

A peak flow meter measures my strongest breath

Stage 1-3

You can help control you asthma if you take your medicine as directed, stay away from your asthma triggers, and watch for early warning signs of asthma.

Aside from cig smoke, you'll have to deal with green chemical drips. Watch the wooden pipes; you'll barely be able to see the green pixels where the drops will come down from.

If you're lucky, you can find eggs to increase your maximum health by one unit. You can go up to six units

Questions

Is it a good idea to watch from asthma early warning signs? Yes, because then I can do something about it early

Which is true about asthma? I can help control asthma if I take my medicine as directed

Level 1 Boss

Name: Tank
Height: 5 Large Meteors
Weight: 4 Army Tanks
Hobbies: Spinning, science projects

To beat Tank, keep your distance, use your regular attack and back away when he lurches forward to avoid his tail swipe. That's it. That's all you have to do. He'll eventually cower in fear, and you'll be able to get a machine part and beat the first level.

PrinceWatercress plays Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus - Longplay

Interesting backstory behind this one.

Unlike the other videos in this Let's Play, the video quality is a tad different. This is because I did this on Bizhawk on my old desktop to see if the old desktop could handle recording Game Boy Advance games. Thankfully, the answer was yes, and interestingly, it handled it even better than the laptop I used for all the previous videos.

For some reason, however, this one started getting more views than the final part of my Super NES Inspector Gadget Let's Play did on a daily basis. I suppose it will only be a matter of time before it becomes the most-viewed video on my channel.

So, yeah, enjoy the game as well as all of the dialogue in it. I leave the lines of dialogue up for a couple of seconds on purpose so you can read it without pausing. I've been thanked at least once for this. And yeah, the soundtrack needs to be on YouTube, badly. I never even thought that this video would get all the traction that it did, and if you've enjoyed it, thank you. I've got a lot more where that came from; just check out my channel. Enjoy.

EDIT (April 8, 2020): This now has more likes than that
Inspector Gadget Let's Play video. Never thought this would ever happen.

PrinceWatercress plays Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus - Part 5 of 5

Well, here we are: the final battle with Wenlock. Guess what? It's pretty short.

Vs. Wenlock

Password: Ollie, Castle, Wenlock, Wand

All of the people are rescued, and now it's up to Annika to face Wenlock.

To beat Wenlock, wait for him to stop walking around and charge his wand up. Get onto the chandelier above him with the Flutter Jewel and stand on it for a few seconds, causing the chandelier to come down and hit him. After three hits, Wenlock switches to a different strategy. It's a game of "find the nut" and he'll teleport around, leaving three statues of himself on the ground. If you've paid attention, you should be able to tell easily which one is the real one. After doing this three times, Wenlock gives up and you finally win. You did it!

PrinceWatercress plays Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus - Part 4 of 5

One more level to go before we finally face Wenlock!

Glacier 1

Brietta tells you to look high and low to find all the villagers, but if you've made it this far, you've probably been doing this the entire time...so what's the point?

Also, Brietta probably did more than fly Annika around in the movie. Just saying.

Anyway, when you try to use the Wand of Light on the ice blocks, nothing happens. You'll have to move a little further to the right to find the Warmth Jewel, which will melt the ice blocks when you have it selected.

When you see ice blocks, go ahead and break them with the Warmth Jewel. Most of the time, you'll find villagers encased in stone.

Just like in all ice levels, it takes a second or two for Barbie to get started while walking, and she can slip around a little bit. Just jump straight up, and while you're walking forward, jump forward to jump start Barbie.

Enemies here include snow foxes that hide in the snow and run around.

Glacier 2

Password: Wenlock, Wenlock, Giant, Wenlock

The trolls from the forest and the mini-Gryphons make a return appearance here.

You'll also start seeing volcanic geysers in the ground that harm Annika if the steam hits her.

For the final key door, you'll have to make staircases with the Wand of Light. The final dress is the same as the fourth one, but instead of purple with pink it's green with yellow.

Glacier 3

Password: Pegasus, Wand, Pegasus, Annika

Nothing much to talk about here.

The Snowball

Password: Annika, Castle, Wenlock, Castle

For this one, Annika falls after the ice blocks she stands on break from underneath her. As a result, she now has to avoid being crushed by a giant snowball. Use Down on the Control Pad as you swing the Wand with the Warmth Jewel, and keep going right no matter what.

When you reach the floor made of ice blocks, head to the right. The snowball will go through them and you'll head to the final level.

PrinceWatercress plays Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus - Part 3 of 5

Yes, let's put the completely predictable, gloomy looking forest area that is a staple of everything ever enjoyed by children under six years of age. It's only natural!

Forbidden Forest 1

Once you're done with the second bonus level, you'll finally land in the Forbidden Forest. Wenlock's spell may have turned villagers into something other than stone, so keep a look out.

Shortly after the beginning of the level, you'll find a green jewel. This is the Flower Jewel, which allows you to change enemies into plants with a dark green butterfly that flies forward whenever you use it. This changes the miniature Gryphons and fish here into logs, which is somewhat chuckle-worthy. It's also very useful, as you can use said logs as platforms to get to other areas.

Annika will notice that the fat green men walking around look human, and that they may have been changed into something by Wenlock's magic. Use the Flower Jewel to change them back into stone, then use the Wand of Light to turn them back into people again.

The yellow plants shoot out spores that slow you down when they touch you. You'll have to wait for the spores to disappear again before you can return to normal speed. If you use the Flower Jewel on them, they'll change into springs that you can use when the Flutter Jewel can't get you anywhere.

You can go up the vine by repeatedly jumping on it, but standing on it will cause Annika to slide down.

Forbidden Forest 2

Password: Wenlock, Wenlock, Pegasus, Wand

Spiders hang around underneath some of the branches and drop down when you get close. If you hit them with the Flower Jewel, they'll turn into sunflowers. This only last for a few seconds, sadly, so you're better off just offing them with the Wand of Light.

Also, you now see the big ugly green guys in greater numbers. You also see the female equivalents of them at this point, too.

Forbidden Forest 3

Password: Wand, Castle, Ollie, Annika

If it feels like you're skipping a big part of the level, you aren't. There's a huge pit of water that the Twirl Jewel won't even come close to clearing. Instead, your only way across is turning a miniature Gryphon into a log with the Flower Jewel and riding him all the way to the other side.

For the dress area, get on the chandelier, then destroy the blocks. The chandelier will rise as you get rid of them all.

If you mess this up or fall off, you'll have to wait for the timer to run out as the game doesn't let you use anything other than the Wand of Light.

Ollie the Giant

Password: Pegasus, Wenlock, Ollie, Wand

Wenlock is at it again. This time, he sics Ollie the Giant on you.

Use the Flower Jewel on the mini-Gryphons he throws at you. When they turn into logs, Ollie will trip and fall when he steps on them. Use this as your best opportunity to move to the other side.

When he runs onscreen as opposed to walking, stay off of and stand between the tree stumps so you don't get hit by the fruit that falls when he stomps the ground.

Bonus Stage 3

Password: Annika, Wenlock, Annika, Wand

Now you just collect the coins while they're just out there in the open, along with getting them from the clouds and rings from the first two bonus stages.

After this bonus stage, you'll land in a glacier.

PrinceWatercress plays Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus - Part 2 of 5

We head down to the village for the second stage. As you can see, Wenlock brought his brand of evil here, as well.

Kingdom Village 1

You'll be using the Flutter Jewel to find a lot of the people around here, so the game kinda rewards you for exploring by actually letting you get through the game.

The enemies here include frogs that jump up and down in water, and hedgehogs that roll back and forth on the ground. The gryphons also make a return appearance here. At the top of one of the houses, you'll get the Twirl Jewel, which allows Annika to twirl across pits of water. If you land into the water, you'll be taken back to the spot of dry land where you fell into the water from.

Kingdom Village 2

Password: Wand, Castle, Ollie, Castle

You'll find a large group of stone blocks shortly after the beginning, and behind these blocks is the key door.

For the key room to get that third costume, just break the blocks so you can make a staircase to it. That's it. The third costume is just like the second one, except blue instead of pink. Gee, thanks, game.

When you see what looks like the beginning of the bridge, use the Twirl Jewel to get across.

Kingdom Village 3

Password: Wand, Pegasus, Ollie, Wenlock

There's not much new to this level, really.

Fight with Gryphon

Password: Ollie, Ollie, Wand, Wenlock

Annika meets Wenlock again, and this time, you'll have to deal with the Gryphon.

Yes, I know it's spelled Griffin here, but I'm spelling it the proper way since they just spell it as so in the game to make it easier for little girls to pronounce.

To beat the Gryphon, use the Twirl Power to move away from the Gryphon as soon as it's directly above you. Stand on a bridge, get out of the way and watch the Gryphon run smack into the bridge. After three instances of this, you win. Could this possibly be any easier?

Bonus Stage 2

Password: Castle, Ollie, Wenlock, Wand

This time around, you'll have to fly through cloud rings in order to get the coins. What, they couldn't do this in the first bonus stage?

Once again, you get another picture from the movie and another hit point for your maximum health.

PrinceWatercress plays Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus - Part 1 of 5

Back in 2014, this was the first GBA game I posted on the blog. Two years later, this would be the first GBA game I would play for my channel.

The Arcade mode lets you play the mini-games.

The only difference between Easy and Normal mode is the inclusion of hearts for a health meter; on Easy mode, you can take damage as much as you want and there is no such thing as a health meter.

Cloud Queen's Throne Room

Yep, another full-length feature starring Barbie made into a game. In this one, you play as the headstrong Princess Annika. The game starts with Annika talking to her sister Brietta, when all of a sudden her friends throw a surprise birthday party for her. Before the party can get underway, everyone except Princess Annika is turned to stone. We soon find out who the guilty party is: Wenlock, whose laugh fills the room.

Go to the right and jump up the two platforms to get the Wand of Light. From there, you can use the B button to swing the wand around near the statues to change them back into people again. You can also use Up and Down on the Control Pad to swing upwards and downwards, respectively. The downwards swing is actually more of an overhand swipe, and it can be used to hit low-lying enemies.

When you change the statue nearest the wand back into human form, I swear that she has this expression on her face that looks like awesome.jpg. I kid you not. Same with the guy next to her. You are going to be seeing this a lot throughout the game.

When you change everyone back, you'll meet Wenlock, who rides into the castle on his gryphon and reveals he turned everyone in the land into stone for the sole purpose of getting Annika to marry him. (Could he have tried any harder?) When she refuses, Wenlock changes Brietta into a flying pegasus. Annika wants to change her back with the Wand of Light, but in a twist that is perhaps best suited to TF art, Brietta is perfectly okay with this and is all like "Well, since I'm a pegasus, I can fly you places." Annika does just that.

Since I've played the game, I've also seen the movie. If you compared this with the movie, you'll notice that the plot of the game is very loosely based on the movie. Annika isn't around in the beginning, and she's a Pegasus at first before becoming turned back into a human. Also, Annika had to create the Wand of Light herself; there certainly wasn't one within easy reach inside the castle. Stranger still, Annika and Brianna's parents don't show up in this game at all.

Cloud Palace

Annika and Brietta land in another area of the castle, and there are still many more people who need to be freed from their stone forms.

The icon in the lower left lists how many people you have yet to free. When you free someone, one of the purple circle turns into the shape of a human. Free everyone to enter the next level.

You'll also see the Wand of Light in the upper-left corner. This will show what wand power you currently have.

Enemy roll call for this one: birds that just sit there on the statues, bugs that crawl around on the floor that can be hit with the downward swing, and miniature gryphons. The regular gray stone is your only means of attack; you cannot attack with any of the other jewels you find in the game.

You'll find the Flutter Jewel in this stage. Switch between the Wand of Light and the Flutter Jewel with the R button and press B to use it. This will allow you to reach places that Annika normally couldn't jump to.

The block with the heart on it contains a heart, and you can get it by hitting the block with the Wand of Light. The heart replenishes only one heart, so be careful.

Cloud Palace 2

Password: Wenlock, Pegasus, Annika, Ollie

Yep, even some Game Boy Advance games had passwords. At least the ones in this game are mercifully short. After all, this is a Barbie game.

Anyway, if there are stone blocks in front of you, you can use the Flutter Jewel to break them instantly as you rise into the air.

There are platforms that go up and down throughout this level, but the Flutter Jewel makes them much easier to reach.

One of the people you free here will have a key. When you pick up a key, you can press Up in front of a door to open it. Luckily, the door is close by. In every key room, you can find a costume...if you can get it before the time runs out. Luckily, this room is so dreadfully easy that only the slightest of hand-eye coordination is involved. Just break the blocks and jump to grab the costume. There are three more costumes in the game besides the one you start with and the one in this room. You can change costumes whenever you want, but other than a cosmetic change for Barbie, they don't do much else.

Cloud Palace 3

Password: Castle, Wand, Wenlock, Pegasus

We have balconies instead of windows! Variety!

A few of the mini-gryphons are flying around, but you can easily swat them out of the air with your wand.

Fight With Wenlock

Password: Castle, Wand, Annika, Wenlock

After everyone in the palace is accounted for, Annika meets Wenlock and his flying gryphon again. There's still more of the land to free from stone, but before you can deal with that, you'll have to deal with Wenlock himself.

The game actually tells you straight up how to beat him: use the Flutter Jewel to stand on the chandelier hanging on the ceiling, causing it to fall. When Wenlock stands in the center of the room after gingerly walking from one side of the room to the other, that's your cue to stand on the edge of the chandelier after getting up there with the Flutter Jewel so it can come down and hit him. After three hits, it's on to the next destination.

Bonus Stage 1

Password: Annika, Pegasus, Annika, Castle

Before you enter the next stage, you'll be flying around on Brietta the Pegasus landing on clouds. Keep pressing A to stay in the air. When you land on them, you can then collect a coin. You'll need all ten to unlock a picture from the movie. It takes time to land on the cloud, bounce off of it and get the coin, so don't do this too close to the left edge or you'll miss the coin. If you play on Normal Mode, you'll also get an extra heart that will increase your maximum health. If you don't get all 10 coins, you can play the bonus stage again until you get it right.

You'll eventually enter the Kingdom Village, which is full of snow and has a lot of houses.

If you press Select, you can switch between any of the costumes that you can collect in the bonus areas. The new dresses don't change the gameplay and are simply for show.

PrinceWatercress plays Mega Man 2 - Part 7 of 7

Everlasting peace...again...until Mega Man 3, anyway.

Dr. Wily - Stage 5

As soon as you enter Stage 5, you'll immediately take on the whole boss rush section. From upper left to upper right, clockwise, it's Heat Man, Air Man, Wood Man, Bubble Man, Quick Man, Crash Man, Metal Man, and Flash Man.

I could waste a whole bunch of time typing up what all of their weaknesses are, but I'm just going to post this pic by CyberMoonStudios again because it saves me a lot of time, it's really hilarious, and it's actually pretty easy to remember...because anyone can remember pictures!

Whenever you beat a Robot Master, they leave a large health pick-up. Always grab it. Always.

It should be noted that you can hold B down to charge up the Atomic Fire if you have it equipped.

Bubble Man's chamber does not have spikes for a ceiling.

Since Quick Man's chamber is now a level playing field, he's a lot easier as a result.

Metal Man is the only Robot Master that falls to his own weapon in one hit (two on Difficult).

If you use Time Stopper on Flash Man, you actually heal him.

When you beat all eight Robot Masters again, you'll see another teleporter pad in the upper center of the room. Jump in and you'll face Dr. Wily. Again. Use Crash Bombs on the window of his ship to blow off the armor and reveal Dr. Wily, then throw Metal Blades at him to finish him off as quickly as possible. When you win, the whole floor explodes and Mega Man gets sent falling...

Dr. Wily - Stage 6

There's no music here, and the only sound you hear are the drops of acid hitting the ceiling. If these things hit you once, just let them kill you. One hit from these saps a third of your life bar.

If you go all the way to the right as you fall and keep holding Right on the Control Pad, you'll be able to run without having to worry about those acid drops at all. Just remember to jump whenever you see a step or a wall.

When you enter the final chamber, Wily turns into an alien. Only one weapon will work on him: Bubble Lead. Avoid him and the bullets he shoots out, and smack him with Bubble Lead in close. As you spend more time with this boss, you'll be getting this guy down to a science and just dodging everything perfectly on auto-pilot.

When you beat the alien, you'll find out that the room was dark, and that it was just a corporeal hologram controlled by the real Dr. Wily, who is revealed when the lights in the room come on. After finding out that his hologram has been defeated, Dr. Wily surrenders.

Mega Man then travels back home, with the seasons changing and his armor changing colors to match. Fall matches with Atomic Fire, Winter matches with Bubble Lead, Spring matches with Quick Boomerang, and Summer matches with Air Tornado.

When he makes it home, he vanishes. His helmet lies on the hill.

The credits show which members of Capcom made which Robot Master.

And with that, that's Mega Man 2 done!
