PrinceWatercress plays Kirby's Adventure - Part 11 of 14

...and with that, Level 6 is finished, and we have one more level to go...

Level 6-4

Stay at the top in the first section. You'll be able to fly over some enemies. Get rid of the star block, then hit the bomb block underneath to enter the next section.

The second section is a maze. If you keep going right, you'll find a Pep Brew underneath the cannon. From the beginning, take the right path downward. Follow the path, then go right when you dive in the water. Go up and keep going up until you reach the star block covering the gap in the floor near the bomb block. Take the star block out first, then hit the bomb block. The gap will help you stand underneath a passing Gordo. Go up from there and you'll be able to enter the next section. If you go into the cubby hole in the water below the ladders at the lower-right corner of the section, you'll find the hidden switch. This uncovers the Egg Catcher game.

Get the Parasol ability when you enter the next room. Once you go through the door, you'll have some protection against the falling coconuts (the parasol destroys them with a mere touch). When you reach the door at the end of this vertical section, you'll just have a short trip to the goal littered with a few birds and a few coconuts.

Level 6-5

We go from a tropical ship docking area to the Great White North in this level.

The first section has a few snowmen that can give you the Freeze ability. The second section is a huge stair-like cliff. Fly all the way to the last step at the top to find a Maxim Tomato, then go down to find a doorway that's seemingly hidden in the background.

Inside this ice room, destroy the bomb block to flood the room with water. This will take out the three swordsmen at the bottom of this room. From there, head to the door on the other side.

In this fourth section, eat the fire-breathing enemy to get the Fire ability, then hit the bomb blocks. One of them leads to a cannon. Light the fuse underneath where the first bomb block was with Fire, then quickly get to the cannon underneath where the second bomb block was before it fires. You'll reach a switch that uncovers the Quick Draw mini-game.

That's all for this level, since this fourth section is the last.

Level 6-6

More Aurora Borealis goodness in the first section. Go to the right and take down everyone in your way. When you enter the next section through the door in the igloo, swallow the U.F.O. when it comes by.

Leave the room, then go down and to the left. You'll find a door to a hidden switch behind the ice blocks. Charge up your laser to destroy the ice blocks. Congratulations. You now have access to the Warp Star in Level 6.

Back to the second section. Watch out for other enemies in the section as you make your way to the door...you don't want to lose your U.F.O. power just yet.

You'll fight a mini-boss regardless of which door you pick; the top one has two Poppy Bros. Sr. and the bottom one has two Chillys, which is a bit easier. The only difference is that you get a different room before the igloo.

When you enter the igloo in the next room, you'll take down the Meta Knight's flunkies one last time. Apparently, you're temporarily invincible for a brief second as you put an enemy in your mouth. Interesting. When you take them all out, you're done with this level.

Level 6 Boss

Gee, I guess good help is hard to find these days. The Meta Knight has no choice but to take you down himself in a one-on-one sword fight. If you've played Revenge of Meta Knight on Kirby Super Star, you know how this goes. Grab the sword, then come out swinging.

Be sure to avoid touching him as he walks around. If he jumps, make sure you're not under him. If you corner him, he'll rush at you in order to get past you and take some damage. He also blocks your sword strikes more often if he is low on health.

Love how it pixelizes and de-pixelizes when you hit him.
