PrinceWatercress plays EVO: The Search For Eden - Part 5 of 14

In this entry, we enter the age of dinosaurs and evolve even further.

I have a load more EVO points since the last video. They're going to be useful for the boss battle coming up.

Desert Time Trans

Megausu will come back and tell you that you should have listened. He then sends Queen Bee after you. She's pretty ticked off at you for beating her husband, and wants to destroy you herself.

Her main attack is her diving bite attack. It can take quite a bit of HP off, making her able to kill you in a mere two hits. Her stinger doesn't fire as fast though, but it still kinda hurts.

There is a pattern to follow. Jump at her and bite when he dives down, and get away when he flies back up. Avoid the stingers (running and jumping helps with this very much) she shoots out, then get ready for her to dive again. She'll always repeat the "dive, fly up and shoot three times" pattern, so she's actually easier than the video makes her out to be.

For best results, keep the Queen Bee in the center...and don't run towards her when she's up in the air to shoot those stingers at you, or else you're definitely going to get hit. Just like the King Bee, not standing below her between the diving bite attack and the stinger shots also helps.

When you beat the Queen Bee, you'll get 2000 EP. Now that the Amphibians have the upper hand again, evolution will be able to progress as normal and the plants can grow again. You'll then lose all your EP again...and you'll become a reptile. Once again, you're weak and ugly. That'll change soon enough, though.

Time for the next age! Gaia will also tell you that King Bee found out about a crystal, and that
the crystal makes whoever has it bigger in size. Gaia has a strange feeling about this...

Chapter 3: Age of Dinosaurs

200~65 Million Years B.C.

Door to Dina Continent

Well, here we are.

The yellow crystal will tell you about the wonders of experimenting with evolution in this age. You can have either two legs or four. Two legs let you jump higher, while four-legged creatures have higher defense but your jumping ability will be limited. Shortly after, you'll hear whispers about how many reptiles have challenged Mt. Brave...and how whoever makes it up there will usher in another new age.

Marsh of Prime Frog

The frogs will run away and try to hit you with their tongues, but they're pretty weak.

Marsh of Amphibians

Well, the Bull Ikustega have evolved a little bit (and overtaken the Timid Ikustega), but they're still not any stronger. They have become worried because reptiles have eaten all the plants. They should really be worried about you.

Domain of Tecodonto

If you can catch up with any of the Tecodonto here and bite them, be sure to move under them when they try to jump on you in retaliation.

The caterpillars here do a good job of healing you, but you probably won't need them...not yet, anyway.

Domain of Polsaurus

The Polsaurs charge...into each other. Nope, nothing threatening there. They're kinda like the headbutting dinosaurs from the Super Nintendo version of Jurassic Park (whose name escapes me right now). They can charge into you if they don't have a buddy nearby, though.

Even in your initial form, you can kill them in one hit. They're extremely weak, making the Domain of Polsaurus a nice grinding spot. You won't have any problems moving left and right here, 20 EP at a time.
