Wait, how did we get in a factory?
Chapter 4: In Town
Story 4: Escape from the factory!
0:18 - Watch the direction that the arrows on these vibrant-looking conveyor belts are pointing, and wait for these monsters to stop attacking before you tackle them.
0:42 - The exit can easily be reached to the right...but the conveyor belt makes it impossible. Go back to the door to the right of the beginning instead.
0:48 - Going in here leads to a switch. Hit it with your head to flip it, then stand on top of it to get the coins in this room. You'll find out that the conveyor belts have switched direction, but at the same time you won't be able to go anywhere when you go back out. Trigger the switch again and get out of this room.
1:32 - Enter the door near the exit.
1:35 - Well, at least we can tackle this block. It'll come in handy later once we're on the other side, so go ahead and do it.
1:50 - Oh, great. The window guys again.
1:57 - The door in-between the window guys leads to another switch room. Don't forget that you can break the little walls next to the coins in this room, as one of them contains the platinum coin.
2:08 - Since we've triggered the switch here, getting to the other side of the room and getting the coins is a snap. Oh, and the sliding crouch? Tackle, then crouch. That little lowering sounds means you've done it right.
2:36 - Of course, since the conveyor belts have reversed direction, we can go to the left (even though it'll take more than an effort) and get out of here, right?
2:48 - But wait, there's more! You can go all the way to the right here and ground pound some boxes to find this hidden door!
3:13 - You can ground pound one of the blocks on the floor to find some hidden compartments that act as a wonderful shortcut. Just ground pound again to enter. Once again, the sliding crouch works here (and we see it in much better detail at this point in the video).
4:02 - Once we jump up the platforms at the other end of this passageway, we're back at the area where we reversed the conveyor belts.
5:04 - Go back to the pit near the left end of that area, then drop down and tackle the wall to the left to find another crawlspace and more coins.
5:29 - That left end of the passageway apparently has some secrets after all. Ground pound one of the blocks, then ground pound again to go through the entire wall. Tackle through the walls to the left to find...
5:37 - ...this room. Climb up to outsmart the bats. Turns out, there's an alternate exit here, but we're not using it for the time being. It will come into play later for 100% completion, however.
6:40 - Remember that door that was hidden behind all those boxes? Go back to it and enter it this time. If you take the crawlspace to the left of the door, you'll be able to find some more coins and another switch. Just watch where those gears turn.
7:11 - There isn't just a switch here, however. There's also the treasure room to the right! Win this one to get a...cigar pipe. Wow, some of the new treasures Wario has have really hit the bottom of the barrel.
7:50 - Hit the switch, then get back up to the gear area. Be careful getting all those coins, because the birds respawn even if you kill them.
8:49 - Get back up to the door in the top-left side of the conveyor belt maze.
8:56 - Oh, wait, apparently the gears and conveyor belts share the same switch system. The door between the two window guys contains the nearest switch, thankfully.
9:12 - All that's left is to get up to the exit, collect all the nearby coins and get out of here.
