We're in the woods, but as you're about to see, getting to the other end of it isn't easy...
Chapter 3: Maze Woods
Story 2: Defeat the giant spear man
0:14 - Before we go any further, let's break these blocks with Fire Wario. Also, let's watch as Wario tries in vain to get one coin. Just...one...coin.
0:49 - Fake floors abound! The trees in the background are subtle hints on where to jump to to avoid them.
1:23 - Well, gee, that took forever. After trying not to to jump to high while avoiding the fake floors, we finally make it to the enemy blocks on the left. This takes us...
1:31 - ...here. Use the ground pound to turn the Spear Goon around, then hit him. From there, you can tackle the stove so you can use it as a platform.
1:58 - Let's go ahead and get the coins at the other end before we leave this part of the level.
2:13 - A turtle. Step on it to get it going, so you can make it past the strong current in the water below.
2:24 - Time to take a coin break. Using the enemies here to jump to the top platform leads to even more coins. Of course, you'll land in the drink and go back to the beginning of this part afterwards, but you'll need all the coins you can get.
3:25 - More turtle madness. Admit it, these turtles are trying to swim to the other side. Too bad the strong current does them in at the end. You'll have to jump as you crouch to make it through that narrow corridor, and you'll also have to take out those fire foxes on the way to the right.
4:26 - Bring a fire fox over here! It's the treasure room! Just leap into the wall when you reach the edge so you can go through the fire blocks. Your reward for beating this one is a bow and arrow. Reminds me of the Zelda series.
5:30 - Oh, and we have to bring a fire fox to the end, too.
5:50 - I was expecting an actual Yamato soldier or some Native American with a spear or some guy who looks like Atlas with a javelin in his hand. Not a bigger Spear Goon.
Jump on him, then knock him over. When he's upside, ground pound him repeatedly until he dies. You'll get 100 coins for your trouble and you'll end the story.
6:24 - Time for another picture piece...
