PrinceWatercress plays Klonoa: Empire of Dreams - Part 12 of 12
Just one more obstacle course - and a difficult one, at that - before we close this bad boy out...
Vision EX-3
Now that EX-1 and EX-2 are done, EX-3 is unlocked. This one is an obstacle course with a timer and no gems. Each screen is as follows:
Screen 1 has a few extra lives. Get them and head right.
Screen 2 has you double jumping with flying Muus before using regular Muus to make it to the top. Remember to grab the portal and double jump immediately to ensure you get to where you need to go. Your double jumping will be taken to its absolute limit in this course.
Screen 3 is more flying Muu double jumping to the top.
Screen 4 is more wrap-around jumps with the Muus followed by some flying Muu double jumps. The first Moon Stone is near the door to Screen 5.
Screen 5 is arrow jumps to the top.
Screen 6 is throwing a Boomie into the arrows, moving the blue one so it points right, then grabbing it and double jumping to the door.
Screen 7 is even more "arrow jumping." The second Moon Stone is at the end.
Screen 8 involves timing Boomie throws so you can hit Muu rocks and explode them. You'll need the flying Muu to reach the third Boomie. Remember to always throw the Boomie at two, except at the arrows, when you have to throw down at ten.
Screen 9 uses the blue disappearing platforms, and is the first where the spikes - which are insta-kill - really become a threat. You'll have to double jump carefully to get to the end.
Screen 10 has you walking off the edges of blue disappearing platforms to grab flying Muus and hit double jumps to the right, and if you mess up just once, you're hitting spikes and starting over. When you reach the end, you'll get the last Moon Stone. Go right and you're at the exit. If you miss the last Moon Stone, you can still go back and get it. Just walk into the wall. You've just completed Klonoa: Empire of Dreams!

PrinceWatercress plays Klonoa: Empire of Dreams - Part 11 of 12
Now that the main game is over, it's time for the extra stuff! We have a timed obstacle course for the first extra stage, and we have a difficult stage for the second one. The third is coming next time...
First | Previous | End
Vision EX-1
EX-1 and EX-2 are unlocked by beating all the stages in the game and by grabbing all the gems in the game.
At the start, you'll have to use the Muus and hit a switch in order to get all the way up. From there, head right, and use the flying Muus to go into the air current, go right at the top, hit the switch, loop all the way back and grab the Goomi. When you grab the Goomi, jump to the right and get the gems. At the end of the platform, drop down and grab the Goomi, then jump right and grab the Teton so that you can get all the gems to the right. You'll miss the blue gem, but if you go right and grab the flying Muu, you can backtrack and double jump left to get it. Grab another flying Muu and double jump to the right, grab the first Moon Stone and go right.
For the next room, you'll have to double jump with flying Muus to the right and utilize the switches to get brown blocks to serve as platforms when you need them. You will have to do this in one shot, or else you'll have to do this over. When you make it to the other side, you can go right.
Go right, and double jump with the flying Muus while grabbing the green gems. At the platform. grab the Goomi and jump right. Head right, and grab the Goomis and jump and hover over the Spikers as you continue right, making sure to grab the gems as you do. At the end of the Goomi's flight path, jump right, grab the flying Muu and double jump to the right. Get the second Moon Stone and go right.
Double jump to the right with the flying Muu in the vicinity twice, then drop down, continue right, grab the flying Muu and jump left off the trampoline. Double jump to get the blue gem. Get the flying Muu again, jump to the right off the trampoline, double jump and hover to the right, and continue in that direction.
In this next section, you'll have to grab flying Muus and double jump to stay afloat and get the last of the gems while staying up top. You will also have to take a flying Muu across the bottom and double jump to get the last of the green gems. When you're almost there, you can grab the Goomi, then jump right and do a few more mid-air double jumps to get to the other side. Grab the last Moon Stone and go right.
Grab the flying Muu and double jump to the right. Wait for the Muu to drop off the right edge of the platform above, then use the Muu to double jump right again. Wait for another Muu, then double jump to the Muu platform. Grab another Muu, double jump to the flying Muu while grabbing two green gems, then grab another flying Muu and double jump to the right for the last of the gems. The exit will be to the right.
Vision EX-2
Head to the right, take the green platform up, then hover over the Boomie, grab the box and double jump to drop it on the switch you just passed by. Grab the Boomie, get past the box and throw it left to blow up a Muu rock. Grab the box, wait for the Boomie to stand on the switch, then throw the box to the left, go past the door, and grab the box, drop down and throw it left again. Grab the box one more time to double jump to the left to get to the next area.
Hit the white switch twice, then head left.
Go left and grab the Muu, double jump right, grab the flying Muu, double jump left, grab another flying Muu, jump off the trampoline to the left, then double jump to the left. Follow the path and grab the green gems, then hover to the left and keep going down while grabbing green gems again. Go left and grab the flying Muu, then go all the way left and jump onto the Muu rock. Double jump to the right, grab the flying Muu and double jump and hover to the right to get a blue gem that can be very easy to miss. After that, drop down, go right and go through the flipper doors. Go all the way back to the top and take the ladder upwards.
Go right, take the air current up and go right, then grab the box and lay it on the air current. Drop down, hit the red switch, grab the Muu, double jump to the left off the box, then go back down the ladder.
Go all the way back down to the Triangle Door, go through the flipper doors, and go back up to the ladder.
Go back to the box, lay the box on the path of the air current again, then hit the switch again and leave the room again.
Now, you have to climb back up the ladder and re-enter the room! Everything will be explained.
Go back to the box, but carry it to the left and leave it to the left of the air current. Double jump to the left and grab the green gems, then jump on the green platform when it shows up. Jump and hover to the right at the top. You'll then have to jump on all three of the blue disappearing platforms and hti the three yellow switches in quick succession. You'll have to grab the box below, lay it on the edge of a blue platform, then make the platform disappear. You'll have to double jump above the middle switch after the platform above it has disappeared, then you'll have to hit the third switch yourself. If you do it right, you'll open the door to the right. Go past the door by double jumping with the nearby flying Muu, then drop down and get the gems, grab the box, take it to the top with the green platform, get all the blue disappearing platforms to disappear, then throw it past where the door opened. From there, you can place the box on the switch below with a double jump, then go right. Use the Tetons to get to the Moon Stone on the upper-right corner of the room, and be sure to hold Up and Right after grabbing onto the Tetons to make it a little easier to get to it. From there, take the air current up, go right and drop down to get the three green gems, then go down the ladder to the left.
You should be able to go left. If not, you rotated the room too much and you need to rotate the room until you can. Go left.
Go left, ride the air current up, go left and grab the Triangle Key. Go back to the right.
Hit the white switch once. Go right.
Go up the chain. You'll have three more blue disappearing platforms and three more yellow switches to hit quickly. Go down and get the box, then take it to one of the two lower disappearing platforms and throw the box left. You'll be hitting one switch with a Muu, one switch with a box and one switch with Klonoa's wind bullet, just like earlier...again. Once you nail that, you can go down and left to get the Circle Key, then get everything set up like you're going to hit the switches again. Grab a Muu, jump to the right onto the box, jump to the right off the box for green gems, then double jump to the right to get a blue gem. You can now go all the way left and exit.
Hit the white switch once and go down.
Hit the white switch one more time, then go right.
You're back at the beginning. Use the box to double jump to the Triangle Door, then go through it and get the second Moon Stone and the last two gems. Go back to the switch room to the left.
Hit the white switch twice and go left.
Go left and go through the Triangle Door. Grab the Muu, double jump right and go through the Circle Door. Ride the air current, face left and time it so you can grab the Goomi and get out of the air current, then jump left, head left and hit the switch. This will let the Boomie at the top out. Go down and follow him, and make sure he drops down to the bottom of the room. Make sure the path is clear for the Boomie to make it to the Muu rock at the beginning of the room, then grab the Boomie and quickly throw it down on the Muu rock with a double jump to explode the Muu rock and get the box. Grab the box, take it to the left, throw it to the left past the triangle door opening, then make sure the nearby brown block is expanded so you can jump up and throw the box to the right past the flipper doors and the Circle Door opening. With the box covering the air current, you can get the final Moon Stone. Go back to the Triangle Door, hit the red switch, then get the box past the Triangle Door opening. The brown block here should be shrunken. Get back to where the Boomie spawns and keep it on-screen so that the Boomie spawns and crosses the makeshift brown block bridge, then get back to the box. Hit the switch, grab the box, jump left off the brown block and stand there so the Boomie uses the box as a bridge to the left. Take the box to the left side of the brown block, and be ready to jump so that the Boomie bounces off it and changes direction on the way down. If the Boomie is going left, you did it! Throw the box to the right to get rid of it, then follow the Boomie left. Grab the Boomie and quickly throw it at the Muu rock to the left. You're finally done!

I REEEEEEEEEALLY should have edited out all those deaths. Ah, well. At least World 5 has come to a close and we've gotten everything. Next up is the EX Levels.

Jump right to the red switch, grab the flying Muu, then continue all the way to the right, double jump left off the green box and get the two green gems as you go, then grab the green box and place it underneath the red switch to the left of it. Hit the red switch, grab the green box again, take the green platform up, jump over the flying Muu to the brown block on the right, place the green box on the edge, grab the flying Muu and double jump to the left to grab the first Moon Stone. Grab the green box, take the green platform, jump to the platform to the right, then jump up and throw the green box right. Grab another flying Muu and use the red switch to get to the green box. Grab the green box once again, and double jump to the right to the next room.
Grab the flying Muu, double jump to get the two green gems above, grab another flying Muu and double jump to the right over the flipper doors. Hit the red switch, then grab the green box and throw it left. Place the green box to the left of the flipper doors, then grab the flying Muu and double jump above where the flipper doors are for three green gems and an extra life. .Reposition the green box, grab a flying Muu, double jump to the right, hit the red switch, go left through the flipper doors, jump over the brown block and get the green box. Take the green box to the right and throw it right on the platform above the flipper doors. Grab the flying Muu, double jump to the green box, then use the green box to double jump to a blue gem. Go right.
Grab the flying Muu and double jump right. Keep going right and grabbing the green gems, then grab the green box at the end and throw it left so it hits the Spiker. Grab the green box, go past the waterfall and grab the second Moon Stone, then do what you did to get to the green box again and go right.

Jump left, grab the green box, double jump to the left, and head left to the next room.
Grab the green box and jump up near where you came into this room from to stick to the white block. Make sure you stick to the left side of the white block. Jump to the green platform, grab the green box, jump your way to the left, and throw the green box to the brown block to the left. (The brown block should be enlarged, meaning that the red switch to the left of the room entrance should be in a "pushed-in" state when you get here. If not, leave the green box, go back down and push that red switch, then get back here.) Follow the green box down, then drop down to the right and hit the red switch. Go all the way to the left and take the air current to the top. Grab the flying Muu and throw it out of your way, then walk off the edge to the right. You should land on the green box, and there should be a brown block that you can now stand on. Take the green box, throw it right at the white block, then jump on the green box and get the last Moon Stone. From here, go to the air current on the right and make sure the brown block in the current's path has been shrunken, so you can ride all the way up. Ride the air current all the way to the left to the top, grab the flying Muu, go back to the air current, throw the flying Muu to the right, then quickly ride the air current past where the brown block is. When the brown block expands, it will block the air current and you can drop to the exit. If you did it right, you should be able to leave.

This will take several tries. This is the toughest palace to get 100 gems, but once you do, you will no longer have to play this vision again. Good grief.

Use the Muu to get the last two gems, then grab another Muu, double jump to the right over the blue arrow, then wait for the Muu to come back on the right side and grab it before it hits the red switch. Double jump to the left so the Muu hits the blue arrow again, then wait for the Muu to pass by before standing above the door. When the brown blocks shrink, you're good to go.
Vision 5 Boss
You'll catch up to Emperor Jillius, who says that he was born an Emperor and that Klonoa and Huepow would never understand. An enemy comes out of him.
Grab a Muu, then wait for Jillius to throw a projectile. Throw the Muu into the projectile. It will hit the boss. You'll then enter an alternate dimension-like version of the throne room where Julius is asleep. Avoid the boss' projectiles, Grab Muus and throw them at the miniature clones of the boss, then throw another Muu at the boss itself when it dives down. You'll have to do this three times.
On the third loop, you'll have to watch the top of the screen to avoid the blasts of energy that come down. After three waves of blasts, you'll get the Julius projectile. After the third hit, Julius will congratulate you for figuring things out, then Bagoo, Julius' minister, shows up and reveals he was behind the entire thing and the real figurehead of the world: the King of Despair. He then says that he will turn all dreamers into monsters, then declare that Klonoa and Huepow will be next. Welcome to the final boss battle.
The boss will be one of three different colors, and the Muu that you throw at it must match the color of the mask. Otherwise, the mask color will change. You'll have to keep throwing Muus at the mask until both match, then you'll have to throw another enemy at the boss when it turns into some sort of metal slime in order to do damage.
When you deal damage, you'll have to avoid the bits of the boss that come out from the bottom of the screen. You'll have to keep jumping around in order to stay in place, as you will be moved if you stay on the floor here.
On the second loop, you'll have to deal with the blobs coming down from the bottom as well as the plasma bolt that travels across the floor before you can get the boss to switch from mask to metal form. After dealing damage a second time, you'll have to avoid the metal bits of the boss as they shoot out at you from the background. Sometimes the floor will be moving; sometimes it will not. Nevertheless, avoid getting hit.
After the third hit, you'll defeat the final boss and beat the game. Jillius will explain that Bagoo took advantage of his inability to dream due to being born an emperor, then states that his real purpose is to give dreams to his people and thanks Klonoa. Jillius then wakes up on his throne room, and the whole adventure was a dream the entire time. He then addresses the people of his empire and tells them of our adventure, then grants the ability to dream to his people again as he declares his kingdom "The Empire of Dreams." Jillius then thanks Klonoa.
We're not done yet: there's post-game content! Stay tuned!

You can now go right from Door 4. Head right, get all the Gems, then find and grab the Muu that you saw on the way. Jump up the "stairs" with the Muu. From here, you can use a Muu to double jump to the left for a blue gem, and you can use another to get to Door 6. Enter Door 6.
Go left and get the two green gems between the gold chains, then go back and grab the green box. Walk off the edge when you are able and drop down with the green box in hand to get it in place on the wall, then grab the right arrow block and throw it so it lands on the green box. Grab the Boomie and time your throw so that the Boomie explodes near the right arrow block. This will get rid of the Muu rock in the room and open a path to Door 7. Enter Door 7.
Grab the flying Muu and double jump to the platform above Door 7, then grab another flying Muu and double jump to the last Moon Stone. From here, you'll need to hit the red switch to shrink the nearby brown blocks. Grab the green box they were blocking and throw it to the right. then go back down, grab the green box there and jump to the green box stuck to the wall with that green box in hand. You'll find out that these things can stick to each other. Jump straight up, get a flying Muu and double jump to the right from on top of the green boxes. Enter Door 8.
Head right through the flipper doors, grab the green box and quickly jump to the right on the right platform of the "see saw" platforms. Throw the box to the left when you reach the wall, then jump and hover your way to the right. Be sure to take two trips to get the blue gem as well as the Triangle Key. Go back through Door 8.
Go back down, get the green box out of your way and go through the Triangle Door to enter Door 9.
Jump right to get the last of the gems. You're back at the start. Grab the green box and use it to double jump to the exit. You're done.
Vision 5-3
Get the three green gems, then go right and take the air current all the way up. Go left and enter Door 4.
Head left, drop down and get the green gems, then go up the air current and go left to where the green box is. Take the green box down and take it to the left. Jump up to the white box, jump up to pull yourself up, then go back up the air current again. Hover left from Door 4, grab the Boomie, walk off the edge of the Boomie platform and go left to blow up the Muu rock. Go back to where the Boomie was and get two green gems, then finally go past where the Muu rock was and enter Door 1.
Go left, drop down, then head right. Hit the blue arrow near you so that it points up, then grab a Muu and throw it at the blue arrow. The Muu will hit a yellow switch above, and you'll have to hit the two below it in quick succession before all the yellow switches reset. By doing so, you will open a door down and to the left. Grab the green box, go to the air current and double jump to Door 3...but don't enter it yet. Head right and hit the blue arrow so that it points right. Get the green box again and throw it to the right, then throw it at the blue arrow. From here, grab a Muu and take the air current up, then double jump on top of the green box to get the blue gem. From there, get the green box back again and cover the air current up with it. Enter Door 3.
Hover to the right and use the see-saw platforms to get the two green gems in that area, then enter Door 5 below.
Enter the air current to the left and go left when you reach the top. Drop down left of where the right arrow block is, then grab the green block and go left. Leap up to where the white block is to stick the green box to the ceiling, then take the air current to the top and throw the right arrow block at the green box. From there, you'll have to throw the right arrow block at the air current to block it, and you'll have to get the green box back and take it to the right of the air current where a Boomie is. You'll want to set it down there so you can get easy access in and out while grabbing the Boomie. Go back and take the right arrow block from the left, and take it to where the door is so that it is laid to the right of the red switch in the wall. Go back to the right, ride the air current and go to the right where the Boomie is. Grab the Boomie, take it up the air current and throw it left. The Boomie will land on the right arrow block, and you'll be able to hit the switch and open the door. You'll get the first Moon Stone. Go back up and enter Door 5 again.
Go left, grab the box and take it left, and throw it so it hits the lower of the "see saw platforms." The platform on the left will rise up so you can reach Door 2. Get the blue gem that is nearby before entering Door 2.
Go left. Past the Muu, there is a series of arrows. Hit the first blue arrow you see so that it points up. From there, go back to the right, grab another Muu, double jump to the right when you're above the blue arrow, then use the Muu to get to the green box will keeping the Muu moving up and down between the arrows. Get the Green Box, take it to the arrows at the left side of the room, and throw it at the blue arrow that you had to move around. This will take the green box to a higher area. Go back to the right side and double jump your way up with the Muu, and you'll catch up with the green box. Use the Muu to double jump to the green box, Get the green box, then jump your way to the white blocks on the right. Jump up to get some gems and the second Moon Stone. Re-enter Door 2.
Jump right and enter Door 3.
Grab the green box, take it to the right, and use it as a steeping stone at the far right side of the room to Door 6. You'll need the green box and double jump with a Muu from on top of it to reach Door 6. Enter Door 6.
Drop down. There will be three columns of three arrows. Go to the left one and hit the one on the bottom so that it faces up. From there, you'll want to throw the box near these arrows at the blue arrow on the bottom of the right column of arrows. You'll be riding this box as you hit the blue arrows to fine tune where you want to go, At the left column, you'll need to hit the blue arrow in the middle so it points right. You'll also want the blue arrow in the center of the middle column to point up. From there, you should be able to get all of the green gems here and get that gem count to 30. When you're done, hit the middle arrow in the left column of arrows so that if faces up again, and you should be able to reach Door 7. Enter Door 7.
Go right and grab the green box, go down the air current, then go all the way to the left. Double jump to the flipper doors and get the last Moon Stone, then go all the way right, go up the air current and exit. You're finally done.
Vision 5-4

You should have 33 gems at this point.
Keep off the controls until you see gems, jump for the three green gems, land on the ramp, jump and grab the flying Muu, let yourself descend into the green gems, take the ramp, double jump with the flying Muu to the platform, grab another flying Muu, double jump to the blue gem, let yourself descend, jump for the green gems, grab the Muu, double jump to the blue gem, grab the next Muu, grab the green gems, grab the next Muu, double jump to the blue gem. You should have 66 gems at this point.
Jump and hover just under the Spiker for two green gems, hit the ramp on the way down, jump and grab the flying Muu, double jump to the blue gem, follow the gems to the ramp, take the ramp, grab the flying Muu, descend into the gems but double jump at the right time to get the blue gem, jump and grab the flying Muu after you land on the ground, double jump to get two more green gems, grab the next flying Muu you see and double jump for a green gem, grab the flying Muu immediately after that and double jump for another green gem, jump and grab the next flying Muu you see and double jump for a blue gem, grab the next flying Muu you see and double jump and hover over the Giant Spiker, grab the flying Muu you see afterwards and double jump to the blue gem with that. Vision 4-5
Go right, grab the Boomie, double jump to the blue switch and hit the switch. Go down and throw the box all the way to the right. Grab another Boomie and throw it to the right so it lands on top of the box, then hit the blue switch to raise the water back up and throw the Boomie to the Muu rock to blow it up. Go right.
Go right and hit the blue arrow so it points up, grab the box and double jump up to the green gems to get them. Then, throw the box at the blue arrow and ride the box. Grab the Boomie and throw it at the Muu rock to the left, and wait for the Boomie to explode and destroy the Muu rock. Hover left and keep going in that direction.
Go left, grab the Muu and throw it at the blue switch. Grab another Muu, take it to the left across the water pit and get the two green gems and the first Moon Stone. Go back to the right and grab the Boomie, then throw it to the red arrow pointing up. Grab the Muu, double jump back to where the green gems were, then get the Boomie and throw it at the nearby Muu rock. From here, climb up the vine, grab the Muu and double jump left. Get the green gems, then go left.
Go left, hit the blue arrow so it points up, then grab the up arrow block and throw it at the blue arrow. Ride the up arrow block to the top, then jump right. You'll have to jump to and from the platform to get the up arrow block from there, then throw it to the right so it is below the Muu rock. From here, hover left to the vine, climb up, grab the Boomie, then throw the Boomie to the right when you are on the platform so it lands on top of the up arrow block. Wait for it to explode so you can get rid of the Muu rock, then grab another Boomie, double jump so it lands on the blue arrow, and grab the Boomie from the platform much like you did the up arrow block. Double jump to the right and continue into that direction into the next room.
Go right, grab the Boomie, take the green platforms to the right and drop the Boomie off at the Muu rock. From there, wait for the Boomie to explode, then continue right, grab the Muu and double jump to the Circle Key. Go right.
Go right, stop to the left of the Boomie, grab the Boomie, go to the Muu rock and double jump to the right. As the Boomie takes care of the Muu rock, get the three green gems and go through the Circle Door. Wait for the Boomie to explode before continuing right.
Go right, climb down the vine, hit the blue switch and grab the up arrow block. Go into the water pit and double jump to place the up arrow block below the Muu Rock, then go back up the vine, grab the Boomie, go back down and double jump above the up arrow block so you can get rid of the Muu rock. Get the Triangle Key and the blue gem after the Muu rock is gone, then grab the box and throw it left so you can leave the room. Go left.
Go back down. Instead of going down where the Muu rock used to be, go right and go through the Triangle Door instead. Continue right.
Go right, grab the Boomie and double jump so the Boomie hits the red arrow pointing up. Don't hit the blue switch, instead, stand directly right of the blue switch and throw the Boomie right to get rid of the Muu rock up ahead. Hit the blue switch, then get another Boomie and use it to get to where the Muu rock was. Drop down to get the three blue gems and the second Moon Stone, then grab the Muu and double jump to the right when it approaches. Jump to get the blue gem, then double jump to head back left and go back to the previous room with a double jump from the nearby Boomie.
Now it is time to go back to the Muu rock you previously blew up. Get the green gems and go left.
Hit the blue arrow so it points left, then go down the vine. Go left, grab the right arrow block, throw it to the right. Immediately climb up the vine so you can jump right, grab the right arrow block and double jump to lay it down near the switch that is completely surrounded by walls. Get the green gems near the vine, then drop down, grab the Boomie and throw it left. Go up the vine again, jump right and grab the Boomie, then double jump to lay it on the right arrow block. From here, you can go back down, go right and grab the last Moon Stone. Climb up the nearby vine and go right to the previous room.
The exit is above where the Triangle Door was. You're done.
Vision 4-6
Grab the Muu, double jump to the platforms to the right, and when you see a Goomi, quickly use the platforms to get to it. Use the Goomis to jump to the right for a bunch of green gems, hover left and back again for the blue gem, grab the flying Muu to the right, and time your double jumps right so you can keep grabbing flying Muus so you can make multiple jumps to the top, hover to the right and grab all the gems to the right. Go up the rope, climb down the next rope, grab the Goomi, get the green gems above it, then grab the next Goomi and jump right for two more green gems. Make a big jump on the trampolines ahead to ensure you get all the gems along the way. You should have 34 gems by the time you reach the fourth trampoline, since you're at the end of the first section at this point.
Go right to the trampoline, make a big jump for two green gems, drop down to the next trampoline for two more green gems, jump to the next trampoline and make a big jump for two more green gems, jump to the last trampoline for two more green gems, grab the Muu, double jump left to the blue gem, go back to the right and get a Muu again, take the green platform down, jump to the right to land on the platform, then double jump to the platform to the right. Grab the flying Muu, then keep grabbing flying Muus and double jumping up to a blue gem. Use the Klonoa Token as a marker to where you should drop down at to land on the blue disappearing platform. Jump right to the green platform. Jump to the right at the bottom, climb up the ropes and grab the five green gems as you do, then climb down to the bottom of the ropes after the next platform for five more green gems. When you see the flying Muu, jump right, grab it and drop down. Use the flying Muu to get the blue gem at the end of this section. You should have 67 gems at this point.
Immediately head right and jump on the platforms to the left to get green gems. Grab the Goomi, jump right and keep going right. When you see the green platform, be ready to take both paths so you can get the green gems on the higher and lower paths. (I usually jump to the higher platform, get the green gem there, then drop down and double back for the other one.) However you get the two green gems to the right of the green platform, you'll have to immediately head right after getting both of them, grab the flying Muu, get the green gem to the right, then double jump to the platform above it. Walk on the blue disappearing platform as you head right for the blue gem, then go down the hole that is made and get all the green gems. Climb up the rope, jump straight up on the trampoline with a big jump to get three more green gems, grab the Teton and ride it straight up to a blue gem, head right to the third Teton and ride it straight up for another blue gem. Wait for the brown platform to show up, grab the flying Muu, then get on the other brown platform above with a double jump while grabbing the last three gems. You should have 100 gems. Make your way to the right when you are able. Jump into the cannon. You're done.
Vision 4-7
Go right, climb down the vine, jump right, grab the Muu and throw it at the red arrow pointing up when the Spiker is not in the way and the blue switch above is on-screen. Once the Muu hits the blue switch, get another Muu, go left through the water pit and double jump to the left. Continue left.
Go left, hit the blue arrow so it points up, then grab the box and throw it at the blue arrow. Grab the flying Muu and double jump left, then grab the box from the left, head left, get the three green gems, go through the waterfall, and get the Circle Key. Go back through the waterfall with the box still in hand, throw it at the air current, then continue to the right to exit back to the starting room.
Go right. From the blue switch, keep going right and double jump to the Circle Door with the Muu. Go through the Circle Door and continue right.
Grab the flying Muu, double jump right, go up the vine and hit the blue switch. Get the green gems below the platform on the way down, then grab the box on the left, jump to the right and take the box down the air current with a double jump. (If you throw it at the air current, you'll have to pause and retry to reset the room.) Go back to the left, grab a flying Muu, head to the right with it, and double jump to the mushroom platforms to get the first Moon Stone. Hover to the right and continue in that direction.
Grab a Muu and double jump up to the ladder at the start. Don't forget the nearby green gems before you go up.
Go left, take the green platform up, and go left.
Grab the block and place it just above where the spikes are so the Muu does not land in them. The Muu will turn around and go left if you did it right. From there, grab the box, then follow the Muu down. You'll eventually want to get down to the bottom, throw the box to the right, then head right, grab the two green gems and the Triangle Key, then wait on top of the box for the Muu to trip the switch so you can get the second Moon Stone. When you grab the Moon Stone, wait for the Muu to step on the switch to open the door again, then leave the Moon Stone chamber, go left, climb back up the vine, grab a Muu, jump over the spikes, double jump to the left and go back to the previous room.
Take the green platform, jump and hover to the right, grab the flying Muu and throw it away, continue right, take the air current all the way up and go through the Triangle Key. Jump over the box and continue right.
Hit the blue arrow so it points up, then continue right, grab the box and double jump at the blue arrow so you can ride it to the grated platform. This will take some timing. Once you pull this off, you'll be able to get three green gems and a Heart Key. Get off the box when you get everything and go left.
Grab the box, go left and ride down the air current with box in hand. Use the box to cover up the air current, then go right and open the Heart Door. Go left, grab the flying Muu and throw it at the blue switch behind the Heart Door. Go right and get the green gems as you do so.
Hit the blue arrow so it points up, then grab the box and double jump above the blue arrow to ride the box. Jump to the right, hit the blue arrow here so it points up, then grab the box and double jump above that blue arrow. Grab the flying Muu and throw it to the right so it hits the red arrow pointing up, allowing you to hit the blue switch and lower the water. Grab the box again, go right, double jump to the two green gems, grab the box again, continue right and double jump right to get the blue gem. Climb down the vine, then climb down the ladder to the right.
Grab the box, go down the air current, and drop the box off on top of the air current. Grab the box from the left, then throw it to the left. Grab the Muu, double jump left, then play around with the two blue arrows near the vine. Hit the upper one so it points left and the lower one so it points up. Use the box as a stepping stone to the switch, stand on the switch and throw the Muu at the lower blue arrow so it goes through where the door was and hits a blue switch, lowering the water level. Get the last Moon Stone and the green gems, then go back, grab another Muu, head further to the left and double jump to the Heart Door. Go through it to the left.
Grab the flying Muu and double jump to the blue gem, then head left through the Heart Door, grab the box, and throw it to the right. Immediately head left and hover to the door blocking the exit. The box will land on the switch, and you'll be able to exit.
Vision 4 Boss
Klonoa and Huepow run into a monster. This is Dr. Medim.
The boss will blow enemies at you while you are on a teetering platform. Be careful on the platform; it is possible to slowly slide off the edge, fall into the water and lose a life. Grab a Muu, then throw it so it hits the red arrow to the side that takes it to the red arrows that point directly to the boss. After hitting the boss, watch the background so you don't get hit by the boss' diving attack, then you'll have to do the arrow stuff again. This time, the arrows in the corners will be moving up and down, and you'll really have to time it right just to hit the boss with another enemy. This is the point where the game's kid gloves finally come off. After another hit, you'll have to avoid the boss' background dive four times. After this, there will be an arrow moving back and forth at the top of the screen with the rest of the arrows being static. Once again, your timing will have to be good to get the last hit in.
Once you finally beat the boss, the boss will turn back into Dr. Medim. Dr. Medim will tell you that he had a dream of creating a medicine to cure the village only to create an incurable sickness. During his dream, he saw twin moons instead of some sort of mist. Klonoa puts two and two together and realizes that the three colored mists - red, blue and yellow - and the crescent flag are references to the flags stationed at the castle where the adventure started. The game finally goes full circle as we go back to where it all began in the next world.
PrinceWatercress plays Klonoa: Empire of Dreams - Part 7 of 12
It's time to head to the forest village of Santal for the fourth world in the game.
Forest Village: Santal
Klonoa and Huepow come across a person named Maris who is unconscious. They help Maris up, and find out that a monster appeared in the valley and spread a sickness across the entire village. Unfortunately, Dr. Medim has disappeared, and Klonoa and Huepow think that Dr. Medim has turned into a monster, too.
Vision 4-1
The sign at the start will tell you that Klonoa cannot swim, and that if you were to land in the water, you would take damage. Also, Klonoa will not be able to go under waterfalls.
Grab the flying Muu, then double jump right. Jump over the water pits as you continue to go right, and grab the green gems as you go. You may have to hover to get the gems. Go back to the flying Muu, grab it, then double jump to the right. Jump to the vine, climb up, grab the Goomi to the right, then jump to the blue gem. Drop down and go through the passage to the right.
Grab the flying Muu, and go right without having the flying Muu touch the Spiker that is moving back and forth. Double jump to the right, then get on the green platforms being pushed by the geysers as you continue right. (Thankfully, the geysers do not hurt you.) At the last green platform, face left, jump up and grab the Goomi, then jump left. Grab the Muu here and double jump to the right to get the first Moon Stone. From here, continue left.
Go left, avoiding the Spiker as you do so, Grab the box, then go to the "stairs" you passed by, jump up and throw it left over the wall. Go to the box, pick it back up and double jump to the right. Go right and make normal jumps to get the two green gems as you do so.

Go left and hit the switch, then grab the green gems and grab the flying Muu to get the Circle Key. Grab another Flying Muu and double jump to the right, then grab the Goomi. Jump to the Circle Door and unlock it. Go right.
Go right, grab the Goomi, then jump right. There is another sign stating that Klonoa can ride on boxes while they float (effectively making them platforms on water). Hit the blue switch, go right, get the blue gem, grab the box, reposition it so it is on the floor below the left edge of the platform above, then grab the nearby Muu and use it to double jump to the two green gems above the platform. Hit the switch again, grab the Muu, get on the box, double jump to the right where you just got the two gems, hover to the right, go right, grab the flying Muu, get on the green platform and double jump to the right.

Go right, grab the flying Muu, take the green platforms on the geysers right, double jump left to the exit door, jump left over the exit door, climb the vine, grab the green gems nearby, and go up the vine while avoiding the spiker, the two new enemies and the projectiles said new enemies shoot at you. Go left at the top.
Grab the flying Muu, double jump left to the green gems to finally get all 30, hit the blue switch, then get back up to the platform where the green gems were. Grab a flying Muu from up there and go left. With the water down, double jump left, get on the green platform, and hover right to the last Moon Stone. Drop down and head to the right, using a double jump with the flying Muu on the way there.
Go right and drop down to the exit door. You're done.
Vision 4-2
Go right, climb down the vine and go right again.
Go right and hit the blue switch. Grab the box and reposition it so that it is in the middle of the water pit, then hover left, hit the blue switch, grab the Muu, jump to the box and double jump right to get the first Moon Stone. Hit the blue switch again, grab a Muu, jump right off the box, then double jump to the right afterwards to head further to the right. At the next water pit, grab the Goomi, ride it to the right, jump to and hit the blue switch, then drop down, grab the three green gems and head right.
Go right. The sign nearby will tell you that you can use a box to block the waterfall in order to get past it. Grab the box and go right past the waterfalls. Double jump to the right with the box, then grab the flying Muu, jump over the Spiker, double jump up to the vine and climb up. Jump to the right. Go right.
Go right and hit the white switch four times to rotate the room completely and get a box to pop up above the entrance to the room. Use the flying Muu to double jump up to the box, then grab the box, double jump right and get the green gems and the Circle Key. Drop down and go left.
Go up the vine and enter the Circle Door. Grab the Teton at its highest point to get the blue gem in the corner, then grab another one and fly left to the ladder. Go up the ladder.
From the ladder, grab the Teton and get the blue gem at the top, then grab another one and fly to the left. Grab the box and toss it left, then grab it again and double jump to toss it down onto the switch. Grab the flying Muu and double jump to the Triangle Key, then drop down and to the left to get two more green gems. When you drop all the way down, go through the Triangle Door and keep going left.
Head left, get the green gems, grab the flying Muu and use it to go right past the waterfalls. If you wait before grabbing the flying Muu, you'll find out enemies can be used to get through waterfalls as well. Jump right to get the Heart Key, then double jump to the right. Go right.
Go right and go through the Heart Door. Get the Muu out of your way and go down the ladder.
Drop down to the right to get green gems and the second Moon Stone. Use the Goomi to get back up and go back up the ladder.

Go left, hit the blue switch, grab the box and place it in the middle of the water pit. Grab the flying Muu while standing on the box, then throw it at the blue switch. Grab another flying Muu after the water raises back up, then double jump straight up to get the two green gems above and the last Moon Stone. Grab another flying Muu and throw it at the blue switch to lower the water again, then throw the box to the left and keep going in that direction.
Unlock the Circle Door, then grab the box and toss it left. Grab the box, drop down and use it to go past the waterfall to the left. Get the last three green gems, then double jump to the exit door with the box. You're done.
Vision 4-3
Go right. The sign will tell you that the arrows show which way a thrown object will travel, and that you can change the direction of a blue arrow by hitting it with a wind bullet. Go right, then hit the blue arrow so it points up. Throw the box to the left so it hits the arrow pointing right, then jump on the box and grab the green gems as you make your way to the right.
The sign in the next room tells you that you can use the arrows to ride a box, and that changing an arrow's direction is still possible while riding. Go down and hit the blue arrow so it points up, then grab the box and double jump below the blue arrow to ride the box to the right. When the ride is over, grab the box, double jump to the right, jump to the blue gem, then go right.
Hit the red switch, grab the flying Muu, go past the shrunken brown block, then throw the flying Muu at the red switch. Go right.
With the two brown blocks in the next room shrunken, you can grab the box in the next room. Go right past the box and hit the blue arrow so it points up, then double jump to throw the box down on the blue arrow. Jump right and get the first Moon Stone and the two green gems, then grab the box and double jump to the right to go up the ladder.
Grab the Goomi and jump left. Avoid the red switch for now as you head left. Hit the blue arrow you see on the way left and hit it so it points up, then grab the flying Muu, double jump above the blue arrow to the left, and go left when the door opens. Grab the two green gems and the Circle Key, then go left.
Go left, grab the Teton and fly left to the Circle Door. Go through the Circle Door, hit the red switch, go back down, grab the Teton and fly left.
Go down the vine and head left. Hit the blue arrow to the left of the box so it points up, then throw the box to the right so it hits the blue arrow in that direction, which should be pointing left. Ride the box and get the gems, then ride the box again. This time, jump to the Goomi, grab it, and jump left to the second Moon Stone. Vision 3 Boss
Klonoa and Huepow will come face to face with a monster that eats through the dirt...and anything that isn't a carrot. Klonoa ponders what will happen if the boss eats anything peculiar.
At the beginning, grab a flying Muu. When the boss eats its way through the ground, double jump to throw the flying Muu in its mouth, then avoid the rocks that fly out of the volcano in the background. Thankfully, the rocks can no longer hurt you after they bounce off the ground. The boss will then shoot out of the background in an attempt to land on you; stay on the move to avoid it. You'll then see a red arrow; this is your cue as to where to stand with a flying Muu in your hands to double jump and throw the flying Muu in the boss' mouth. After three hits, you'll beat the boss.
If the boss eats through three parts of the floor, you'll get the volcano rocks that drop down, then you'll get another chance to damage the boss.
After the battle, the monster transforms into Master Chef Chirin. He tells Klonoa and Huepow that he was having a dream that he was the best chef in the world and making a dish that made even carrots taste good until a yellow mist fell over him, transforming him.
Next up is Santal.
