PrinceWatercress plays The Ring of Time - Part 2 of 3

Now that we've made some progress in this game, let's make some more!

At the start of this video, I remember to FILL JUG at the lake and DROP KEY, which I should have done after unlocking the door at the other side of the lake. That's taken care of.

Head back to the monastery. TAKE PENKNIFE, then go east twice. TAKE BOOTS, then CUT PAINTING with the penknife in your inventory. You'll find a safe behind the painting. UNLOCK SAFE, and the game will ask you for the combination. Give the exact combination that the game gave you from burning the parchment earlier, complete with dashes. Do not enter a space at the beginning. By getting the combination right, you'll open the safe and reveal a leather saddle. TAKE SADDLE, then DROP PENKNIFE.

Go west, then go north. You'll be in the dining hall, where a mad monk has taken control of the area. If you try to go east past the monk, he gets in your way. KILL MONK with the sword in your inventory, then FRISK MONK to find a necklace. TAKE NECKLACE, then WEAR NECKLACE. You can finally go east now that the monk is dead. DROP SWORD. In the next room, you will find sugar lumps if you OPEN CUPBOARDS and SEARCH CUPBOARDS. TAKE SUGAR. Go north to enter the larder and find a coil of rope. TAKE ROPE.

Go south, west, south, west, and south again. Go west until you reach the intersection, then DROP BOOTS, DROP SADDLE, DROP JUG and DROP SUGAR. Go back to the cave. TAKE CANDLE. TAKE MATCHES. LIGHT CANDLE. Go south until you reach the lake, then SWIM LAKE. LIGHT CANDLE again, then go east, north, east and DROP CANDLE and TAKE CANDLE again at the cave. You can also BLOW CANDLE to blow out the candle without dropping it.

At the cave, go east. You'll be outside of the cave. Go south, south, east, and north to enter an old, crumbling mill. THROW ROPE, then CLIMB ROPE to find a shovel on the upper floor. TAKE SHOVEL, go down, then TAKE ROPE. Go south, west, north, north, then GO CAVE once you are outside of the cave. LIGHT CANDLE, go west, south, west. SWIM LAKE, LIGHT CANDLE, then go north until you reach the hole. DROP CANDLE and DROP MATCHES. Thankfully, you won't have to go through here anymore.

Go up, then west, then north until you reach the intersection. Head west towards the cottage, then go west at the cottage garden to go back to the large oak tree. THROW ROPE, then CLIMB ROPE. At the top of the tree is a magpie's nest. SEARCH NEST to find a small silver bell. TAKE BELL. Go down. Leave the rope, because you won't be needing it again. Go back to the intersection, TAKE BOOTS, WEAR BOOTS. Head to the stables, then RING BELL to summon a horse. DROP BELL, since you won't need the bell anymore. GIVE SUGAR to feed the sugar lumps to the horse, then go back to the intersection and TAKE SADDLE and TAKE JUG. Head back to the stables and SADDLE HORSE.

PrinceWatercress plays The Ring of Time - Part 1 of 3

Another BBC Micro text adventure? Another BBC Micro text adventure.

Legend speaks of a ring that controls time that belongs to a wizard known as Zor, an evil magician from the Middle Ages...and you're looking for it.

N, S, E and W take you north, south, east and west, respectively. U and D go up and down where applicable. QUIT saves the game, and INVEN checks your inventory. Your inventory has a six-item limit. The top part of the screen shows a description of where you are, while the bottom part is where you'll be typing out your commands.

At the start, head south twice to reach the intersection. Going west takes you on a route leading to a cottage. Go west, then north, and you'll be in the cottage garden. ENTER COTTAGE, then go up. TAKE PENKNIFE ("GET" does not work as the game does not recognize it), go back down and go south to leave the cottage. From here, you'll want to go back to the intersection.

West of the cottage is a large oak tree. If you try to CLIMB TREE or SEARCH TREE, the game tells you that you will need a rope to do that. Remember that for later.

Back at the intersection, go north until you are back at the open plain, then go east to find a supply shed. ENTER SHED. The shed will be empty, but if you SEARCH SHED, you'll find a box of matches. TAKE MATCHES.

Go south to leave, then go north from the open plain. Keep going north until you are outside some stables, then ENTER to go inside. TAKE CANDLE. KILL DOG with the penknife in your inventory, CUT DOG with the penknife to get meat, then TAKE MEAT to get the meat. SEARCH STABLES to find a jug. TAKE JUG.

Go south to leave, then head back to the intersection. This time, go east and keep going that way to find a large monastery. ENTER MONASTERY, then go north to enter the chapel, then go north again to the altar. Head to the east to the chamber where the abbot prepares for mass. TAKE PARCHMENT. You can READ PARCHMENT for an advertisement for another Kansas City Systems game, Dracula Island, but it's not required to beat the game.

Go west, south and south, then DROP PENKNIFE before going south to leave. Go west back to the intersection. Go south, then go east at the green rolling field. You'll find a large opening in the ground. Go down to enter the hole, then LIGHT CANDLE. POUR WAX to pour the wax into the jug, filling a hole that you'll need to fill later. Go south two times until you reach a lake, then THROW MEAT to get the crocodiles out of your way. (If you don't throw the meat before swimming, you're dead.) FILL JUG here to fill it with water (make sure you POUR WAX first!), then SWIM LAKE.

The candle will go out when you reach the other side, so LIGHT CANDLE again. Go east, then north. You'll encounter a locked door. DROP PARCHMENT, PUSH PARCHMENT to slide it under the door, PUSH KEY to push it out from the other side, then PULL PARCHMENT. TAKE KEY, then TAKE PARCHMENT. UNLOCK DOOR, then DROP KEY. Afterwards, BURN PARCHMENT. When you do this, the parchment will reveal secret writing when it burns up, and it reveals a secret combination that is random with every game (I got 50-27-35 on both the Let's Play and the Longplay).

Go east to enter a cave. SEARCH CAVE to find a sword. TAKE SWORD, then go back west, south, and west. SWIM LAKE, then LIGHT CANDLE and go north twice. DROP CANDLE to snuff the candle out, then DROP MATCHES and go back up.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 9 of 9

Now for the final boss. All's well that ends well.

Before facing the final boss, I unlock everything in the art gallery. Only takes 7,800 coins!

Anyway, time to go through the vault door in the attic.

The Attic

To beat the boss, you'll need to get a bomb to the right of where you start and place it on one of the two platforms at the top where the gangster is not on. When the gangster jumps on that platform as he regularly switches positions in the attic, you'll want to press R1 to set off the bomb and hit him with the explosion.

After two hits, the boss will send his goons out, and you'll need to avoid them and their bullets on the way to the top to hit him with even more bomb explosions. You'll need to hit the gangster at the top of the attic six times in order to win the game once and for all, and once you do, you'll open up a treasure chest that contains a ton of pink coins...which then gets taken away from you by the still-alive Uncle Pink. Pink Panther chases after Uncle Pink, and the game ends.

After the credits, you'll get a cheat code: L1, L1, R2, R2, L2, L2, R1, R1, Left Right, Select, Start. If you enter it on the main menu, you'll get the cheat menu, which gives the options of 9,999 coins, all the keys, no enemies and no stalkers chasing after you.

And with that, that's The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit complete!

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 8 of 9

I hate this level. That is all.

The Gangster's Lair

This is by far the hardest regular level of the game. You'll need a wine bottle to raise the water levels for a bomb involving a fish tank (I guess), you'll need to take a bag of money to Jack's bar, you'll need to blow up a barricade with a bomb, and you'll need to take the key to the exit. For all the non-bomb objectives, you'll be chased after by gangsters, and the key gangster will have a gun.

There are enemies littering this level, including some in garbage cans and others in windows. The enemies in the garbage cans and the windows cannot be defeated. Thankfully, any bullets that the enemies here shoot will have limited range.

For the bottle of wine, you'll need to get it at Montana's Bar on ground level. You'll then need to head to the right as you make your way up, and you'll also have to go through a door and a hallway. At the other end of the hallway is the neon sign pointing to Jack's Bar, but if you drop down and to the right, you'll be where you need to take the wine bottle so the gangster with the dynamite plunger can cause an explosion at the bank at ground level.

You'll then need to head into the bank and pick up the money, then get it to Jack's Bar while a gangster chases after you. The pink neon arrows will lead to the bar to an extent, but even then, you have to make quite the trek to get this done, going through a few windows and indoor passsages and even running across the rooftops in order to do it. All the while, you have to remember exactly where you need to go to get to the area above the giant green truck so you can go down and to the right of that to get to the bar.

From here, get in the bar and go up the stairs to get the bomb out of the building, through the general store, through two windows, and then down and to the right to get to the key area.

The trek to the exit is the absolute worst. The exit is actually above the first boarded window just after the start, and when you reach it, you have to leap left to the ladder, jump up the ladder, and then head right to the door. The only problem is that it's just distant enough from the rest of the maze that this level is, and that the platform where the ladder is blends in with the building it's on, that you'd have no idea that path was there in the first place.

At least this level is over. Good riddance.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 7 of 9

We have yet another short video due to an easy boss followed by another skating level.

The Dinosaur

To beat the dinosaur boss, you'll need to bring the bone from the bottom of the screen to the bomb near the top on the right side of the room. Place the bomb in front of the dinosaur's head first, then place the bone. The dinosaur will then eat both, losing a hit point. Do this three times and you'll win. All you'll need to worry about is the rocks that this boss tosses down. Other than that, this is a very easy boss.

The Construction Site, Part 2

You can now go left through the open window from the second boss and jump up to the attic. There are two more levels before the third and final boss, and this is one of them.

This is the third and last skating level, and this time around, you'll need to hold Down on the D-Pad in order to duck under wrecking balls and other obstacles. The only drawback is that if you hold Down to duck, you'll go faster when you do it. Other times, you'll have to memorize where the swinging wrecking balls will be, and you'll have to jump accordingly. Of the three skating levels, this is the hardest one.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 6 of 9

Things get trickier when we travel to Transylvania.

Dracula's Castle

You'll need to light some TNT with a candle, use a ticket to get past a tool booth, light another TNT barrel with a candle, bring a pillow to silence an alarm clock, and ultimately get the key and get out of here.

Stay up high at first, then go down at the second chandelier and get the candle. Take it to the right at this lower level, and after the small pits, you'll need to jump up and to the right to get to the TNT barrel and light it the same way you lay a bomb in the earlier stages. The candle will disappear shortly after you take it, so you need to be fast.

This opens up a maze. Go in the door, then the left-most door. Enter the left-most door again, and you'll get the ticket. You can then easily make your way back out. As for the ticket, go back left and then down and enter the door with the ticket icon above it, then head right to get past the toll booth.

Make your way up the tower, then head left. You'll eventually find a monster near a bed with a pillow. There is a TNT barrel blocking some health and a candle underneath it, and you can bounce off the bed to get the health. You'll also need to take the candle to the right from the bed to blow up a TNT barrel. This way, when you grab the pillow, you can head down and then left, then drop down to the starting area, head to the right while taking the high road, drop down to where the key door is, and enter it and take the pillow to the alarm clock. All that, and the monster near the bed won't mess with you.

You'll need to do this in order to get the key. When you get the key, hide in the portrait, go through the nearby door, go left, head through the next door, then head down and to the left to the exit. Watch out near the exit, as Dracula will be chasing you as you have the key and he will show up right near the beginning and take the key away from you seconds before can make it to the gate. Once you somehow beat Dracula at his own game, you'll be able to get out of here.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 5 of 9

I may not have beaten the best time, but I still got through this one pretty quickly.

The Stone Age

You'll need to put out a fire, break two walls with egg bombs, get a bone from a dinosaur to a toll bridge, and get out.

Holding Down and Left or Down and Right lets you crawl through the low passageways.

Watch out for fire as you get to the bowl of water. Stay low and follow the signage and get to the bowl, and get to the slope blocked at the top by the campfire to put the fire out.

When you get the eggs, jump up and enter the doorway to blow up the wall near the start. You'll need to do this again to blow up the wall just up and left from it.

To get the bone, go past where you blew the stone wall at the start and go through it one. One of the caves has a bone, but you'll need to run away from the dinosaur. Go up and to the left, then jump up the mountain and head right to the toll bridge. You'll then be able to get the key. You'll need to circle around. When you see the frozen bridge to the right, take it and follow the pink signs to the exit.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 4 of 9

This video ends up being super short due to the boss battle more or less going my way and because of the short level that I end up playing afterwards. At least I know where to get coins now.

When you head out of the house from the right, you'll find out that Uncle Pink has left a large, carnivorous plant in the greenhouse. You'll need to beat this thing in order to continue on.

The Greenhouse

To beat the large, carnivorous plant, you'll need to take the bomb, lay it next to one of the three roots with the bulge on it on the ground and blow those roots up. If you blow up all three, you win.

The battle is far from simple, however, as the plant will eat you as soon as it sees you. Use the trees for cover, and if you see the thought bubble with the pink question mark in it, you'll need to hide quickly, or else you're going to get eaten and you'll have to start this whole boss battle over. For best results, make your moves when the plant is not looking in your general direction. Once you destroy all three of the roots on the ground, you'll get another key as well as a heart container that increases your maximum health by one heart.

From here, you can enter the greenhouse, jump on the tree stump, jump on the roof and walk across the awning near the greenhouse and enter the second floor. Here, we'll play another short level.

The Ice Rink

Once again, you're in another skating level. Be ready to jump over policemen, cars and holes in the street. When you're on the power lines, jump over the sparks so you don't get shocked. When you're being chased by the snowball, jump over the mailboxes. It won't be long until you get to the key at the end.

This is the best place in the game to get coins to unlock the art in the art gallery, and this is especially true if you beat your best time multiple times, which I eventually end up doing.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 3 of 9

One more level before we have to face a boss...and it's an obligatory Egyptian level. Nice.

There's nothing to do on ground level, so let's head to the basement and play the Egyptian level, shall we?

Egypt

You'll need the candelabra to get the bomb and blow up a barrier, then you'll need to get a diamond to open a door and bomb another barrier before getting out of here.

The candelabra is all the way to the right on ground level. You'll need to take it to the crate of dynamite to the right of where you start to get the bomb. Take the bomb to the right while staying as high up in the level as you can go, and you'll get to the barrier, lay it down and blow it up.

This will get you into the pyramid, but you'll still need the diamond. That will be up and right of the start as you're heading towards the candelabra. Take the diamond and get into the pyramid, but watch out for the jackal who walks like an Egyptian even as he chases after you. Once you're in the pyramid, keep dropping down and to the right to get to the door that requires the diamond. There are doors you can enter with Triangle, but you don't need them. You may have to hide near the end, though.

At the other end is the barrier. You'll find the bomb in the pyramid if you look for the signs pointing to it. Once you get it, drop on down, get to the right and blow up the barrier. Get the key, and when you get to the pyramid, be ready to hide, as the jackal will suddenly show up from the left when you reach the wall you need to hide in near the exit. from here, head up and left to exit the pyramid, then drop all the way down to ground level, head left and get to the door.

The mummies take three hits to defeat.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 2 of 9

Getting through these levels can be done pretty quickly if you know how.

The Railway Line

The Railway Line is the first of three auto-scrolling levels where Pink is on skates and you'll have to jump over pits and obstacles to survive. If you bump into anything, you're taking damage, and if you lose all your health, it's back to the beginning for you, as there are no checkpoints.

X lets you jump, while holding Down lets you crouch. Crouching makes you go faster, however, and you won't really need it until the third and last skating level, but it can help you beat the best time and get extra coins multiple times if you know what you're doing.

If you hear a guy yelling, a guy carrying lumber will be coming right at you. Jump over him. Also, jump over the rock bending the power lines down. And watch out for the train!

When you reach the end, you'll get the key.

After getting one key, you'll unlock the door leading to the basement, which is right outside and leads to two more levels. We'll play one of them right now.

The Construction Site, Part 1

You'll be blowing up a stack of lumber that is in the way, giving a burger to a dog, getting a roll of toilet paper to an outhouse, and then getting the key to the exit. After the bomb part, you'll be chased for the remainder of the level objectives.

The metal ducts will take you from one end to the other. Wrecking balls will hurt you. Mattresses act as springboards. Barbed wire and buzzsaws will hurt.

You'll need to get to the sandy floor below to get the bomb. Once you get it, you'll need to take it up and around and to the right to get rid of the lumber barrier and clear the path.

After that, you'll need to get the burger, which is just above where you found the bomb. You'll need to get past where the barrier was, then keep going right to get to the dog and give the dog the burger. A construction worker will chase after you, so you'll need to be fast.

You'll then run through the locker room before finding the general store, where you'll need to get the toilet paper and avoid the store worker catching up with you as you take the toilet paper upwards to where the outhouse is. Avoid the slippery oil, and if you need to, use the piles of dirt and the pink paint on the walls to hide from the guy.

Past the outhouse is the climb leading to the exit door. The guy in the outhouse will leave the key when you get the toilet paper to him, but if you grab the key, he'll chase after you! (And here we are thinking he was helping us.) You'll need to head further to the right when you get the key, then make your way to the exit door at the top. There are a few places where you can hide if you really need them.

PrinceWatercress plays The Pink Panther in Pinkadelic Pursuit - Part 1 of 9

Not often you see The Pink Panther in his own video game.

At the beginning of the game, we find out that The Pink Panther's Uncle Pink has passed away and that he has inherited his mansion as well as his treasure. In order to get the treasure, though, you'll have to go through the various rooms of the mansion that contains Uncle Pink's various exploits during his life and pick up the keys in each of them.

Left and Right on the D-Pad let you move left and right, while X lets you jump. If you need to read a sign again, stand in front of it and press L1.

To the left of where you start is the gallery. To unlock the picture, you'll have to get the various pink coins that are scattered through the game's levels. You'll need a total of 7,800 coins to fully unlock the art gallery.

When you approach a door, you'll be told how many keys you need to open it as well as the best time for each level. You start out with one key, and you'll get more as you progress through the game. As for the best time, there's no real reason to beat that time (and then beat the time that you made over and over again) except to get 200 coins for unlocking stuff in the art gallery.

At the start, you can only enter the ground floor of the house and take on either the S.S. Luxitania or the skating level next to it. We're entering the S.S. Luxitania.

S.S. Luxitania

The loading screens are pretty neat, because when you're halfway through them, you'll get a brief pictorial description of all the things you have to do to complete the level.

You'll start out in the cargo hold. You'll need to jump your way out. Double-tapping and holding X will allow you to slowly glide downward.

Square will let you attack enemies. You can also attack enemies that run back and forth by jumping on them. Enemies usually take two hits to defeat,

If you approach a hiding spot, the game will tell you to press Triangle at that location. If you do, you'll hide there. Hold the Triangle button to keep hiding.

The first thing you need to do is find the bananas and give them to the monkey blocking your path. When you find then, grab them with the Circle button, then get to the monkey. The bananas will be above the exit from the cargo hold. Thankfully, there are signs throughout the level that will give you a general direction as to where to go to reach which item or obstacle. Once you get the bananas, keep going to the right and take the stairs every time you see them. You'll find the monkey. Move towards the monkey with the bananas in your hand to get the monkey out of you way.

Past the monkey is a bomb. When you pick the bomb up, a timer starts. If it blows up in your hand, it will kill you and you'll have to try again. Thankfully, you have infinite lives in this game. Go back to the left and keep going down the stairs, and you can place the bomb near the crate with the Circle button. If you need it to blow up before the timer expires, press R1.

From here, feel free to explore the area for coins and power-ups. The hearts will replenish one heart from your health. You start out with four hearts, but you can lose half a heart, which means you actually have eight hit points to work with. Once again, if you lose all your health, you'll die and get sent back a bit, but you do have infinite lives.

Past the bomb, up and to the left, is the turkey. When you grab the turkey, however, the waitperson will chase after you. If he catches up to you, he will take the turkey and you'll have to get to him and take it back with Circle. He will return it to where you found it if you don't. You'll need to take the turkey back down to the lowest level of the ship, then take it to the right to the other waitperson blocking the door. If you need to, hold Triangle to hide between the life preservers until the guy chasing you goes off-screen.

Once you deliver the turkey, use Triangle to enter the doors. One of them will take you to the key, and you'll need to take the key and get it to the exit. Before you do that, keep going right, grab the bomb, then go back left and go up the stairs to get rid of the crate in your path. You can then get the key, go to the right, and make your way up to the pink door that serves as the exit. If you need to, you can use the lounge chair to bounce up to a higher area. Also, watch out for wet floors, as they are slippery. When you make it to the pink door with the key, you'll complete the level, get another key, get a chance to save your game and unlock more of the game.

PrinceWatercress plays Tombs and Treasure - Part 4 of 4

In this entry, we see the stunning conclusion to Tombs and Treasure!

From the coffin, go forward into the recently revealed passage. You'll be back in the Castillo Pyramid basement. Go upstairs and then backwards twice.

You'll be alone when you're on the overworld. Head back northeast to the Well of Sacrifice to reunite with Jose and The Girl. You'll find Jose lying on the ground beside the well. Look at the Guide to get Jose to pull himself together. Jose will tell you that The Girl has been kidnapped and that their lair is somewhere in the Ball Court to the west, but you won't be able to do anything there. Instead, head to the Tomb of the High Priest, which is southwest of the Well of Sacrifice and south of the Ball Court.

Tomb of Hi-Priest

Go right through the door and downstairs to the underground corridor, then use the Shallow Bowl to get back to the Akbal Jewel room. Go to the left, then keep going forward until the game tells you it is pitch black in that direction. Join the Two-Eye Mask with the Red Jewel, then join the Two-Eye Mask with the Blue Jewel, then use the Two-Eye Mask to find a white block in the left wall.

Push the White Block to open a door to the left. Go left. You'll be near a temple. Approach it, and you'll face Tezcat. Join the Blue Jewel with the Sword before fighting Tezcat before fighting him as The Boy, or you will not survive.

From here, wait until midnight, then use the Large Flask. Jose will turn into Scareface, and he will tell you that his friends kidnapped The Girl and that he has the Ring of Itza, and that all he needs is the Sun Key to overthrow Tentacula, become the leader of the Mayans and rule the world forever.

You'll have to fight Scareface. Use the Akbal Jewel, then fight him until he is destroyed. You may have to game over and continue to beat him, as the game does not let you leave the room if your health is low. You'll get the Ring of Itza, but now you need to find The Girl. Make sure it is midnight (wait if you have to), then use the Large Flask. You will shrink down, and the temple will get bigger. Go forward to the temple.

You'll see the Sun Key and the keyhole in the wall to the left. Use the Silver Key to unlock the temple, then go backwards and use the Small Flask to grow back to normal size. Move the Temple to open the palace, then take the Sun Key. You will take the key and the temple will close, but the room will start to shake. You'll then be in the Shrine of Tentacula.

Look around and you'll face Tentacula, King of the Underworld. Use the Ring of Itza to hold it in the light, then use the Akbal Jewel. Finally, fight Tentacula. It will take some doing, but Tentacula will be defeated. From here, look at the Stand. The Girl will be lying down. Go backwards, then Put the Censer on the floor and Put the Incense to place it in the censer, then use the Lighter to light the incense. This will wake The Girl up.

The Girl will tell you to use the Sun Key on the stand to lock this place up forever. Do it, and the whole palace will start to rock. The Boy and The Girl will get out of there, and upon reaching the exit, Tentacula is trapped in the temple forever and the door to the time of the Mayans is opened. The Boy and The Girl will meet The Professor, and thanks to our defeating Tentacula, the main characters are treated like royalty. The Boy and The Girl now live in the time of the Mayan civilization, where they are praised as heroes as the game ends.

PrinceWatercress plays Tombs and Treasure - Part 3 of 4

In this entry, we complete the last of the puzzles in the game before going down the Well of Sacrifice on our own. This is going to get perilous.

From here, head to the Well of Paradise. It will be a bit south from here.

Well of Paradise

Wash the Sun Necklace. The jewel will shine brightly, and you will now know the position of the sun in the circle in the top center of the screen. Yellow is dawn, white is noon, red is dusk and black is midnight. From here, leave and head back north to the Temple of Warriors.

Temple of Warriors

You'll face the jaguar again. Switch to The Girl and use the Golden Pipes to stop the jaguar and turn it back into a statue. You can now take the Blue Jewel. Join the Blue Jewel with the Sword.

Your next destination is the Ball Court, which is west of the Temple of Warriors.

Ball Court

Look around when you enter, and you'll face Hornskull. Fight him as The Boy. You should be able to take him out at this point if you have the Blue Jewel in the Sword.

If you look at the Cog, you'll notice that several cogs are held in place by a Stone Pawl.

Go forward and look at the Blue Block. Take the Blue Block. You'll hear a rumbling sound. From here, go back to the entrance and leave.

You'll then need to head to the High Priest's Tomb, which is south of here.

Tomb of Hi-Priest/Ball Court

Go right to the tomb and look at the skeleton. Move the Skull to reveal the keyhole, then use the Iron Key on the keyhole. The coffin will close and move away to reveal a stairway into a corridor. Go down to enter an underground corridor. You'll be in the Ball Court at this point. If you try to go anywhere, all the places will look the same. Join the Small Rod with the Shallow Bowl to create a makeshift compass. Use the Shallow Bowl and you'll reach a small room.

Look at the Akbal Jewel. You'll learn that the jewel has the ability to rob demons of their power. Take the Akbal Jewel. The exit will disappear, but there will be an entrance to the left. Go left. You'll be back where you were in the Ball Court before you left. This time, go forward. If you do it again, you'll find out it is pitch black in that direction. If you look at the wall, Jose will say that if you were to wear a mask here, you would see something. Unfortunately, we do not have the right combination to make that happen...yet. Keep going backwards until you reach the entrance, then take the Stone Pawl. The cogs will spin and the passage will be locked. From here, go backwards to leave.

Head back to El Castillo, which is southeast from here.

Castillo Pyramid

Put the Blue Block in the hole in the floor. The block will fit exactly, and an entrance will appear in the floor. Go down to enter the basement and find a mechanism in the wall. Put the Stone Pawl on the shaft, then change to Jose and move the Stone Handle. This will cause a load roar and some water to flow. Go back upstairs, then go backwards to leave and head to the Well of Sacrifice to the northeast.

Well of Sacrifice/Castillo Pyramid

When you reach the Well of Sacrifice, it will be empty. Go down, and Jose will tell you that people who were sacrificed here were trapped in a crystal coffin by a golden light, and that you'll need the Crystal Key and the Gold Mirror. You'll also need the Blue Jewel and the Akbal Jewel. Once you have everything, go down there again. You'll then go in alone with just The Boy while Jose and The Girl wait.

Look around and you'll face Venum. Use the Akbal Jewel, then fight him. After the battle, move the Head of the Right Statue and the door will open. Go forward and use the Gold Mirror. The light will hit the mirror, strike the pattern on the wall and reveal an exit.

If you look at the coffin, you'll find a body inside the coffin wearing a mask. There is a Hollow in the left side of the coffin, and if you use the Crystal Key on it, the coffin will open. You can then take the Mask. This is the Two-Eye Mask, and you'll need it soon. Go backwards to step away from the coffin.

PrinceWatercress plays Tombs and Treasure - Part 2 of 4

Now that we've made some progress, let's make even more progress and solve some more puzzles! And also fight some more monsters! Because that's apparently a thing!

Your next destination is El Caracol, which is straight west from the Well of Paradise.

El Caracol

If you do anything here, Snake Master will show up. Join the Red Jewel with the Sword, then Fight the Snake Master with The Boy, and he will eventually go down. If you run low on health, go backwards and re-enter, then fight again.

Look at the Small Window. The Court of Columns can be seen in the distance. From here, go backwards. Look at the Pedestal, and you'll notice it is designed to hold a globe. Jose will tell you that this place is designed to be an observatory and that there should be a way to climb up higher. Put the Silver Globe on the Pedestal. If you look at the Silver Globe now, you'll find out that a beautiful sound will awaken the globe. Switch to The Girl and have her use the Golden Pipes. The globe will become transparent and a beam of light will shoot out through the Small Window like a laser. From here, you can leave.

Your next destination is the Court of Columns, which is to the northwest. It is also west of the Well of Sacrifice.

Court of Columns

You'll see El Slug if you look around. You should be strong enough to fight El Slug at this point. Once El Slug is down, look at the Column. You'll notice a Column shining in the back of the court. If you look at the Ground, you'll notice it is suspicious. Smash the Ground to find a Golden Globe, which you'll need to take.

Go backwards, then go backwards again.

From here, head to El Caracol again.

El Caracol

Take the Silver Globe off the pedestal and put the Golden Globe on it. The globe will fit on the pedestal. Have The Girl use the Golden Pipes, and a light will shoot out of the globe. From here, go backwards to leave, then head to the Court of Columns.

Court of Columns

Go back to the Column. Smash the Ground again. This time, you'll find a Silver Head. If you look at it, you'll notice both of the eyes are open. Take the Silver Head.

Head to Castillo Pyramid. It's just south from here.

Castillo Pyramid

Go forward and Put the Silver Head on the statue. An entrance will open in the floor when you put the Silver Head on the statue. Go down to enter a secret basement. If you look at the Stone Box, you'll find a leather bag inside. You'll take the Incense. From here, take both the Small and Large Flasks in the room.

From here, go back up, then leave this area and go back to El Caracol, which will be to the southwest from here.

El Caracol

Take the Golden Globe, then change to Jose and have him push the pedestal. This will open up a staircase. (If you did this earlier, you wouldn't have been able to get the Golden Globe or the Silver Head, as the pedestal does not move back.) Go up, and you'll find another pedestal on the second floor. Put the Golden Globe on the pedestal, and light from the left-hand window will bounce off the globe onto the wall. (If that doesn't happen, use the Wait command until it does.) Look at the Wall to look at the lit-up stone panel, then Smash the Wall. You'll find a Crystal Key. Take it, then go backwards.

Take the Golden Globe off the pedestal, then put the Gold Stand on the pedestal followed by the Golden Globe. If you need to, keep waiting until light hits the Golden Globe. Light will hit the globe from the right-hand window. Change to The Girl and use the Golden Pipes to get the light to hit the wall. Look at the Wall to see that the lit-up part of the wall is pink. Smash the Wall to find a Silver Censer, which is an incense burner. Take the Censer (it doesn't matter who you do all this with), then go downstairs and go backwards.

From here, head to the Temple of Warriors. It is to the northeast, and it is directly east of the Court of Columns.

Temple of Warriors

If you look around here, you'll meet the Cadaver. Fight the Cadaver as The Boy. You should be strong enough to take this thing on now.

Once the Cadaver is defeated, look at the Sun Necklace. You'll see that it is too dirty to see clearly, even though it has a complicated pattern and a one-inch jewel in the center. Take the Sun Necklace. You'll break the base, but you'll take it.

If you try to take the Blue Jewel, the jaguar statue will turn into a real jaguar. Go backwards, then re-enter. Look at the Hole. You'll find a rusty Iron Key inside. If you try to take the Iron Key as The Girl, she will tell you that you can get the key if you had a magnet of some kind. Use the Small Rod, and you'll get the Iron Key to stick to it so you can take it. From here, head backwards until you leave.

PrinceWatercress plays Tombs and Treasure - Part 1 of 4

After watching Saxcat play this one, I had to play this one myself. If you know what to do, this is a fine game, although it can be a little difficult concerning some things.

June 10th. Prof. Imes sets out for Chichen Itza with seven men.

June 22nd. One man disappears while studying El Castillo Pyramid.

July 9th. Three men disappear while researching the Well of Sacrifice.

July 14th. Prof. Imes and two others vanish mysteriously while excavating the Ball Court. Only the guide returns.

July 17th. The professor's notes and a few artifacts are found in the Well of Sacrifice.

Prof. Imes was an expert on Mayan writing. He read in an old book that the mythical Sun Key was hidden at Chichen Itza and set out to discover it.

Prof. Imes' daughter was a close friend. Since it was summer vacation, we decided to go to Mexico to solve the mystery of his disappearance.

When you start a new game, you'll be able to name The Boy and The Girl (who I will refer to as The Boy and The Girl, respectively). There are some default names that the game will use if you don't put in a name, but I will just refer to them as "The Boy" and "The Girl."

Laboratory

The game starts in The Girl's father's laboratory. Anne, Prof. Imes' secretary, will be there.

The circle at the top shows what time it is, but you'll need a certain item for that to work. To left is the current location in the Location Window, and a Message Window below the Location Window. Below the Message Window is your list of commands. To the right of all that is the Action Window, where you can see where you are and who and what you can interact with. At the bottom is the Text Window, where you can read what is currently going on.

From here, you'll have several commands to choose from (as mentioned in the manual).

Go: Moves you in a certain direction.

Look: Lets you examine in the Action Window (with A) or in your inventory (with B).

Take: Lets you select an item in the Action Window and add it to the inventory.

Put: Lets you choose an item in your inventory and place it somewhere. Your inventory will appear in the Action Window, and you use the D-Pad to select the item. Press A to put that item somewhere.

Use: Lets you use an item from your inventory. Your inventory will appear in the Action Window, and you use the D-Pad to select the item. Press A to use that item.

Move: Lets you move things in the Action Window. Use the D-Pad to move the pointer to the thing you want to move, and press A.

Push: Lets you push things in the Action Window. Use the D-Pad to move the pointer to the thing you want to push, and press A.

Pull: Lets you pull things in the Action Window. Use the D-Pad to move the pointer to the thing you want to pull, and press A.

Smash: Lets you smash things in the Action Window. Use the arrow keys to move the pointer to the thing you want to smash, and press A.

Join: Lets you join together two items from your inventory. Move the pointer to the first item and press A, then to the second item and press A again to join them.

Wash: Lets you wash an item in your inventory. Your inventory will appear in the Action Window. Use the arrow keys to select the item. Press A to wash that item.

Wait: Allows time to pass.

Fight: Puts you in fighting mode. Press A to strike and watch the Text Window for instructions.

Change: Lets you change the active player from The Boy to The Girl to Jose. Whoever appears in the Text Window is the one you will be performing whatever other actions you choose.

Look at the desk, and Anne will thank you for coming. She will tell you that Prof. Imes' notes were found in the Well of Sacrifice to the north of the ruins, and that the well had been emptied of water but was rapidly filling up again. There were some treasures, but only a few items and the notes could be recovered. These things are all on the desk. She will also tell you that Jose, the guide, can tell you more, and that he is on his way now.

From here, you can look at the items. If you look at the sword, you'll find out that it is a 16" sword with a place in the hilt for a jewel to be fitted. If you look at the notebook, you'll find out that some of the pages are torn and that only some parts can be read. One part reads "I must have the Sun Necklace to continue. I found it in the Warrior's Temple, but it was too dirty to show the sun's position...Who would have guessed there was a trick like that in El Castillo pyramid. There's a mountain of treasure...There are demons in the ruins, three men have already been killed...the demons, I must get the sword of...lost another man. We seem to have accidentally released demons that were sealed in here by the ancient Mayans. My only chance is to defeat the demon Tentacula, but first I must find the Sun Key." You won't be able to take the notebook; you can only look at it, so copy down what you read in the notebook if you need to.

If you look in your inventory, you'll find out that you have a Bandage. The Bandage could be useful in case of a minor injury, or something else.

From here, take the Silver Key, the Lighter, and the Sword. From here, select go and go Down to go backwards. You'll meet Jose, who will tell you about what is going on and the Sun Necklace, then join you on your way to the ruins. He will tell you to go to the the High Priest' Tomb to find the mosaic tile that will open the door to the treasure room. He also tell you that before you do that, you should go to the Nunnery and find the Ixmol Jewel. You'll need to find the Ixmol Jewel and then look into it to get a password that you can use to save your spot in the game for later.

From here, go up to go forward. You'll be on the world map.

You'll start at the Laboratory, which is at the bottom center of the map. Directly north of the Laboratory is the Nunnery. You'll want to go there first.

Nunnery

There will be three statues standing in a low-ceilinged room. Look at the warrior on the right, and you'll notice it once held something. Look at the Man Statue in the center to notice it is the old man and the tallest of the three statues. The left statue will be holding the Ixmol Jewel. Look at it, and you'll get a password. The statue on the left is the girl statue. From here, you can take the Ixmol Jewel.

Go backwards to leave. From here, you'll need to head to the High Priest's Tomb. It is the pyramid-shaped building northwest of the Nunnery, and it will be a fair distance away.

Tomb of Hi-Priest

If you look at the floor, you'll be met by Skorpor, a scorpion-like monster. From here, you'll want to fight it as The Boy. Just keep using the Fight command, and watch the Text Window. Thankfully, Skorpor is not that much of a match for you, and you can defeat it.

Look at the wall, and you'll notice something odd. Change to Jose, then push the wall. You'll move the right-hand wall and find an opening. Go right, and you'll find a stone coffin. There is a pattern on it, and there is a lid with a mosaic tile on it. You'll need this to open the treasure room in El Castillo Pyramid. Take the Mosaic Tile, and you'll open the stone coffin. On the skeleton is a One-eye mask, which you can take.

You can also move the skeleton inside to find a keyhole, but you do not have a key that will work with it yet. From here, go backwards, then go left and then backwards again to leave.

Your next destination is El Castillo Pyramid (called Castillo Pyramid) by the game. It is directly east from the High Priest's Tomb.

Castillo Pyramid

If you try to go anywhere, you'll face Two-Beak. You'll have to fight Two-Beak as The Boy. Thankfully, you should be able to beat Two-Beak at this point.

After beating Two-Beak, look at the Hollow. You'll find a hole in the plaster on the ground, and it seems like something could fit into it.

Go forward, and you'll find a dead end. Look at the Hollow in the wall. The Girl will mention that if you have something that fits in the hollow, the wall just might open up. Use the Mosaic Tile to open up the wall and end up in a treasure room. Take the the Shallow Bowl, the Gold Mirror, the Gold Stand, and the Silver Globe.

If you look at the Gold Flask, you'll learn it's empty. If you look at the Flask on the right, you will notice it is covered with iron sand. If you look at the Tall Flask, you will notice that something is inside, but you won't be able to get it out due to the neck of the flask being too narrow. If you smash the Tall Flask, you'll find a ring with a stunning jewel that fits The Girl's ring finger perfectly. Jose will note that this is the Ring of Itza, which is said to have the power to defeat evil. You'll then take the ring.

If you move the pile of gold, you'll find a red jewel. Jose will mention that the professor was looking for that jewel, and The Girl will tell you that when fitted in the one-eyed mask, it would make secrets become visible. Jose will also tell you that you can use it on the sword to create a magical power.

If you look at the Stone Box, you'll open the box to find three stone tablets. They seem to have pictures on them, but they cannot be made out. There must be some way to see them...

Join the Red Jewel with the One-eye Mask to fit it in the mask, then use the mask. The pictures will become clear. There will be a picture of men digging up the censer at dusk, a picture of a trumpet at noon and a jaguar becoming a statue, and a picture of men drinking a potion at night and shrinking. To solve this riddle, you'll need to find the Sun Necklace and find the position of the sun.

There's nothing else to do here, so leave. Your next destination is the Well of Paradise, which is a small lake two screens south and one screen east of Castillo Pyramid.

Well of Paradise

At the Well of Paradise, wash the Gold Mirror. The mirror will shine brightly, and you'll find something in the water that looks like pan pipes. Take the Golden Pipes to put them in the inventory. If you look at the Golden Pipes, you'll find there is a hole in them. You can join the Bandage with the Golden Pipes to cover the hole to fix them, and you'll need to do this to use the Golden Pipes later on.

From here, go backwards to leave.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 54 of 54

After so many videos, this is how it all ends.

First | Previous | End

8:50 - Bringing the bridge down.

9:30 - The female robot gets blasted as she warns us as Angela Cross shows up, and we find out that Captain Quark is not only still around, but he also fabricated this entire mess in order to become the Bogon's Galaxy new hero, restore his reputation and frame Ratchet, Clank and Angela for the whole thing. Unfortunately, when Quark uses the Helix-o-Morph to take down all of the Protopets, he only makes the original Protopet bigger and more dangerous.

From here, you'll have to Swingshot over to the evil Protopet, then you'll have to bust out the R.Y.N.O. II and stay away from it as it moves around while blasting it with the Lock On Mod. Easiest final boss ever.

You can also go between the ship and the final battle with the teleporters here once you reach this point. Fun.

Once you beat the evil Protopet, you'll be thanked by the real Mr. Ambercrombie Fizzwidget, and you'll also find out that the battery in the Helix-o-Morph is in backwards, hence the nasty transformation. As Angela and Fizzwidget head off to cure the rest of the Protopets, Ratchet holds the blasted female robot in his arms.

During the credits, the female robot will be repaired, then you'll find out that Captain Quark is working at Megacorp and testing things that nobody else will test.

From here, you can play Challenge Mode. In this mode, not only do you have a harder version of the game, but you have a bolt multiplier that goes up to 20x which easily raises the amount of bolts you get from fighting enemies the longer you don't get hit, you'll be able to buy the Mega version of Weapons in the Megacorp vendors and evolve them again to the Ultra versions to do even more damage, and you'll also be able to bring a lot of your collectibles over to Challenge mode so you don't have to collect them again. All weapons not directly tied to the story, armor upgrades, collected Platinum Bolts, collected Crystals and collected Moonstones are carried over. Slim Cognito's Ship Shack is available at the start, the Charge Boots are retained, and the Barlow Gadgetron Weapons are available anywhere. Some levels' enemy setups, like the Coral City Promenade, have reduced numbers. All special menu tabs are retained, some optional objectives stay done, and all special non-story items such as the Box Breaker and the Armor Magnetizer, are retained. (Gadgets and Wrench Upgrades must be re-earned, however.)

But I've played this game for more than nine months, and I've been writing this guide for around four, and I think I've covered everything that I wanted to cover...at least...I thought I did. There's one more thing that I want to show off...but I'll need to make the video first and I'll need to make the guide for it as well...

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 53 of 54

We have two more Platinum Bolts to grab, and once we do...we truly get everything.

First | Previous | Next | End

We're finally heading to Yeedil. Here we go.

3:02 - There is a Platinum Bolt above the bridge at the start. Cross the bridge, then grind down the left side to get it.

4:21 - The Hypnomatic will get you from one robot to another in this makeshift maze. Making it to the end brings up some Swingshot targets, which leads to another maze-like area. Thankfully, you can get through this area on foot. Just ready yourself for the tanks.

8:00 - You'll have to switch from one robot to another with the Hypnomatic here in order to survive and eventually open the path to the teleporter to Megacorp HQ.

9:30 - Let's check our stuff, lock and load, and...uh...

10:41 - Good thing the game saved our progress before the lock-up, because now we can return to where we left off.

13:08 - It was at this moment that I feared the game would break again.

16:01 - Not again.

17:24 - Bust out the Dynamo and watch your shadow as you jump and glide. Make sure you have the Kilonoids at your sides.

19:31 - For this final Infiltrator puzzle, you'll want to go up, down-left, down-left, down, down-left, up, up, down-left, left, down-left, down-left. Afterwards, use the Thermanator to take out all of the Protopets on the icy floor all at once. Afterwards, use the Tetrabomb Gun to wipe out the two tanks.

At this point, we're near the end. Use the Electrolyzer to get the platform up and running after one more mini-game involving those sparks on the circuit paths.

24:23 - Pulling this bridge down with the Swingshot leads to the end. We're not heading there yet.

Instead, there is a column you can move with the Tractor Beam. Grind on the rails and jump over the flashing rings to get the 40th and final Platinum Bolt of the game.

27:05 - With all 40 Platinum Bolts in hand, we play through the grinding section at Clank's apartment in Endako to get to the third and final weapons mod station. Thankfully, this grinding section is surprisingly easy and doesn't have a Skill Point attached.

Here are all of the mods, what they do, and where you can get them. Thankfully, you can buy all of the mods with all 40 Platinum Bolts.

Acid Mods have acid rounds attached to the weapons they are for, and they will do poison damage when shots connect. The poison does eventually fade away, but it does damage until it does.

Lock On Mods allow you to lock on with the weapons that have them by holding L2 and R2 simultaneously. With lock-on, all shots will be directed at that enemy, and Ratchet will also be able to strafe while holding the button. You'll also be able to see how much health an enemy has left.

Shock Mods allow weapons that have them to shock enemies that are nearby the enemies that has been shot at, much like the Plasma Coil and Plasma Storm.

Tabora Vendor

  • Chopper/Multi-Star Acid Mod (2 Platinum Bolts)

  • Lancer/Heavy Lancer Shock Mod (2 Platinum Bolts)
  • Gravity Bomb/Mini-Nuke Acid Mod (2 Platinum Bolts)
  • Gravity Bomb/Mini-Nuke Lock On Mod (1 Platinum Bolt)

Boldan Vendor

  • Hoverbomb Gun/Tetrabomb Gun Lock On Mod (1 Platinum Bolt)
  • Minirocket Tube/Megarocket Cannon Lock On Mod (2 Platinum Bolts)

  • Lava Gun/Meteor Gun Lock On Mod (1 Platinum Bolt)

  • Spiderbot Glove/Tankbot Glove Acid Mod (2 Platinum Bolts)

There is also a Lock On Mod for the R.Y.N.O II, which you can buy at the Gadgetron Store in Barlow. You can buy this at any of the three weapon mod vendors.

Also, for some reason, you can buy all of the mods from the Endako vendor on Tabora, and vice versa, which threw me for a loop.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 52 of 54

This video took MONTHS to make.

First | Previous | Next | End

So here's everything I did in this video:

  • Getting four million bolts by replaying Challenge 2 in Gorn repeatedly by shooting a nuke and destroying all the enemies with the Nuke as soon as I start the challenge. In case of any stragglers, I go after them while collecting Raritanium. This allows me to buy everything else that I have yet to buy at Slim Cognito's and earn the "Nice Ride" Skill Point from doing so.
  • Buy the remaining weapons not yet in my inventory and evolve all remaining unevolved weapons in the Protopet area in Planet Grelbin, while also getting max health and max experience. I also show off the remote control capabilities of the Hoverbomb Gun.
  • Buy the Carbonox Armor, which cuts all damage by 90%.
  • Got a few Skill Points from the aforementioned things as well as the Skill Point for the grinding section in Boldan, which I forgot all about until this point.

13:59 - The Plasma Coil hits and shocks one enemy, but will also shock nearby enemies when possible.

The Shield Charger zaps enemies who get to close to you.

The Hoverbomb Gun will shoot bombs that you can also control by holding Circle and moving the left stick around. Pressing Circle again will make the bomb explode in its current location.

The Minirocket Tube shoots rockets at enemies.

24:00 - The Tesla Barrier is the evolved version of the Shield Barrier, and it shocks enemies from a little further away.

24:49 - The Plasma Storm is the evolved version of the Plasma Coil, and it shoots out a ball of lightning that zaps nearby enemies as it flies forward.

26:28 - The Megarocket Cannon is the evolved version of the Minirocket Tube, which shoots more powerful rockets.

27:18 - The Tetrabomb Gun is the evolved version of the Hoverbomb Gun, but it shoots five bombs instead of one for more widespread destruction.

For buying and evolving all the weapons, you'll get the "Weapon Envy" Skill Points.

29:26 - You'll get the "Nano to the Max" Skill Point when you reach maximum health and experience. This also unlocks more stuff to buy at Slim Cognito's. It's just more paint jobs, though.

36:55 - The power lines in Boldan. If you can grind through this whole section without getting hit once, you'll get a Skill Point. I end up making two winning runs, since the game doesn't register me getting the Skill Point the first time. That ended up being really frustrating, and it is amazing that it took one more try after that to make it work.

At the end of the grinding section is another button you can press to buy weapon mods. Keep this in mind, since we'll be utilizing it soon.

Skill Points:

Nice Ride: Buy all weapons for the ship at Slim Cognito's.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 51 of 54

In this entry, we take on all of the ship challenges that are left.

First | Previous | Next | End

1:13 - In Challenge 2 of Hrugis Cloud, you'll need to shoot down the ships that are flying around. Stay near the power receptors so you can make it easier to find the ships you need to shoot down, then give chase and fire away when they show up.

4:37 - In Challenge 3 of Hrugis Cloud, you'll have to destroy the virus-infected repair drones. This challenge goes much like the other dogfights in the game - the enemies get in front of you, you move around to avoid getting shot, then blast away once they get in front.

7:01 - In Challenge 4 of Hrugis Cloud, you'll be racing another spaceship and going through the rings. Once again, if you make it to the end without missing a ring, you'll get a Platinum Bolt.

If you start missing rings at the beginning of the race without even going through the first ring, crash your ship. That will stop the game glitching out.

Of the three races to get the Platinum Bolt in, this is the hardest one.

9:05 - In Challenge 2 of Gorn, you'll need to shoot down all of the ships in the area without getting destroyed yourself. Some of the ships drop Raritanium in addition to bolts, and I'll be using this battle later to get more of both.

11:48 - Before starting Challenge 3 on Gorn, we get a bunch of weapons and upgrades for the ship.

13:23 - In Challenge 3 of Gorn, you'll need to destroy the various parts of the big ship that is flying around. If you star running out of shiled and weapons, take out some of the smaller ships. Be sure to use your missiles to find out what parts of the large ship you have yet to shoot down.

16:10 - In Challenge 4 of Gorn, you're racing Ace Bunyon again. Once again, you have to get to the finish line without missing a single ring for another Platinum. Thankfully, this is the last time you have to do this.

PrinceWatercress plays Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando - Part 50 of 54

We finally get the Quark figurine to that guy in Todano, then get the one Skill Point in Dobbo that we have yet to achieve.

First | Previous | Next | End

5:45 - Giving the Quark figurine to the Armory Employee in Todano will net you the Armor Magnetizer, which increases the range you can pick up bolts from. Compared to the first game, we got this one relatively late.

8:39 - The hunt begins. By destroying all of the enemies on Dobbo with only the weapons from the first game - the Tesla Glove, Bomb Glove, Walloper, Visibomb, Decoy Glove and the wrench - you can get a Skill Point and more additions to Slim Cognito's shop. It's better to do this later in the game when you have a fully powered-up wrench, good armor and a ton of health and bolts.

Skill Points:

Old School: Defeat all the enemies on Dobbo with only the weapons from the first game: the Tesla Glove, Bomb Glove, Walloper, Visibomb, Decoy Glove and the wrench.
