PrinceWatercress plays WWF Royal Rumble (Super NES/Genesis) - Part 7 of 16

Now it's time for the Super Nintendo version...

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair was already gone by the time the game came out. Due to bullcrap with Jim Herd, he would leave WCW with its World title, and go on to win the WWF Championship twice, with the first win being at the 1992 Royal Rumble and the second in September. During this time, Ric Flair would be allied with Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Mr. Perfect, with Heenan being his manager and Mr. Perfect his "executive consultant."  He would go on to lose the title to Bret "The Hit Man" Hart on Prime Time Wrestling (that would be Bret's first reign), then take part in a tag team match that was supposed to be "Macho Man" Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior vs. Flair and Mr. Perfect. Unfortunately, The Ultimate Warrior got himself fired for a second time due to drug use, and WWE decided to switch gears by having Mr. Perfect do a face turn (which would last for the rest of Mr. Perfect's first WWE run) and team with Savage at Survivor Series in a memorable segment that had Mr. Perfect give Heenan the scare of his life after Heenan slapped him for his sudden change of heart. Flair would team with Razor Ramon, and Savage and Perfect would win by disqualification. On the third-ever episode of Raw, Flair and Perfect would have a Loser Leaves WWF match, which Perfect would win. In reality, Flair was heading back to WCW as he felt he could make a better name for himself there.

Mr. Perfect would not do much in 1993 after that. He would have a feud with "The Narcissist" Lex Luger, then another one with "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. He would be gone by Survivor Series that year due to his back problems from most of 1992 flaring back up.
