Well, we finally made it. Now what?
Stage 6
Section 3
The skeleton guys are back, so when they walk out from the background, just duck and punch until they're dead.
Wait for the flamethrowers to stop shooting out fire before you pass. Ivan Ooze was careful enough to place these things near bottomless pits, but it's still easy to get past all those if you know when to jump.
Apparently, those things that were creeping through the floor that looked like mines were really tiny robots. Interesting.
Stage 2 Boss
The Tengu Queen (yes, there is a Tengu in this game) will appear on either side of the screen and shoot a three-way feather shot at you. Get close to it, avoiding the feathers, and hit her. She'll fly away and re-appear again on one of the two sides of the screen.
Unlike last time, however, you won't have any conveyor belts to worry about. The screen this time has the same layout as the Goldar battle. Just stand in the center and walk towards the Tengu Queen when she shows up. Easy!
Section 5
A vertical section, complete with flamethrowers. If you stick around at the top, those water tap-looking things show up again. If you need some quick power, take a few of these things out before continuing.
Stage 3 Boss
Another simple boss. Punch it when it's standing still, and avoid it when it's somersaulting in and out of the water. It will know where you are, so it's very easy to time when he's going to come out of the water and roll into you again to an exact science.
Section 7
More flamethrowers and bottomless pits. Also, no enemies. jetpackguy.jpg
Stage 4 Boss
The boss here is Goldar, whom Kikoskia wants to call Golbez. Eh.
The best thing to do is punch him into a corner, which can be really easy to do if you're fast enough. Avoid his sword slashes as well as his thrust attack.
It doesn't show it here, but sometimes he'll disappear and do some sort of mirror image teleportation trick. Use the platform here to get away from that.
Section 9
It's back to Putty bashing in this one. Nothing much else here.
Stage 5 Boss
As long as you're not standing where Lord Zedd teleports, he'll appear and try to hit you. Thankfully, the way he teleports is predictable, even though he picks a random spot everytime. Just make it so that he's standing next to you, then attack him before he can do anything. If he's far away, use a dashing shoulder tackle.
Section 11
It's a horizontal platforming section, where you're avoiding fireballs that act like the Podaboos in Super Mario Bros., just leaping in and out of the abyss.
The floating eyes can only move - and be destroyed - when their eyes are open. They take two hits in Ranger form.
Section 12
If you need Life and Power, this is the last place you're going to get it. Ivan Ooze has two forms, and you'll need as much of both as you can get!
Ivan Ooze - First Form
First off, the full-screen special attack doesn't even work on Ivan Ooze, so don't even bother.
Wait for Ooze to send out an attack before coming towards him and attacking. Besides casting lightning that comes down from above as well as those little Saturn-shaped projectiles that Lord Zedd threw at you during his boss battle (jump over them), he also has a little eye beam that follows you when you walk under it. You'll have to time your movements and positioning with this one so that you can attack Ivan while still avoiding this little beam.
If you don't wait, he picks you up and throws you to the opposite end of the screen via telekinesis. Thankfully, this doesn't damage you, but it is slower than necessary and is a pain in the butt to wait for the end of.
You'll only be able to attack once before you won't be able to damage him again. In that case, you'll have no choice to get away from him before he does that for you.
He can cause a lot of damage in seconds, but thankfully you have infinite continues and you'll be brought back to Section 12 if you die...so don't give up!
