angryponcho plays Spyro the Dragon - Part 15 of 21

In this episode, we find Beaker's distant cousins and tackle them to death.

Beast Makers Homeworld

Well, there's nothing left to do here, so let's see the balloonist and go to the Dream Weavers Homeworld.

Dream Weavers Homeworld

The fodder here are hopping, sentient mushrooms. WUT

You'll also see the mushrooms in every level of this homeworld, so if I don't mention what the fodder is for every level, you'll know why.

There is a cannon in the middle of the stage that shrinks some of the enemies, who have really weird looking heads. They remind me of Beaker from The Muppet Show. When they're big, flame them. If they're small, you can also charge them. Some of these enemies have metal armor on, forcing you to charge into them in order to get rid of them. You'll have to shrink them before you can even put a dent in them, though.

If you can make it to the cannon, you'll be able to knock the guy off of it and use it yourself like you would a regular cannon. Nice.

If you see a guy with a clock on his chest running around, flame him. He controls a nearby platform that you can get access to just by attacking him. You'll need to do this to find gems as well as other surprises, such as extra lives.

Lofty Castle

This level has some weird enemies - weird flying dog things, devils with bows and arrows and Gnorcs riding on balloons being just the start.

In a few areas, you'll have to free three fairies from cages before you can go on. Just flame or charge the cages to free them, and when all three of them are together, they'll create a whirlwind that lets you continue your quest.

The key chest is in the area with the second fairy pad (which is optional), while the key is just after the third fairy pad (the second required one).

I'm actually wanting to cover this game. I'm really wanting to because it's so bad.

Bubsy 3D.

Those two words just bring to mind a maximum catastrophe of ass.

angryponcho plays Spyro the Dragon - Part 14 of 21

In this episode, we take on the fourth boss. Good lord, this is a short game.

Wild Flight

At the beginning of the level, immediately turn around and go for the boats. Since they'll be coming towards you, it'll be easier to hit them all with the flame. Avoid the arches for now.

From there, hit all the boxes. After that, go against the flight path of all the planes to make it easier to hit them. You'll obviously be saving the arches for last.

Metalhead

The big guys actually kick the little guys down towards you at times. Thankfully, you can tap the charge button right when they're in front of you to get rid of them.

The key is located past a broken iron grate in the bottom of the level. The key chest is in the second boss room. Just jump on the platforms that line the wall near the entrance to it and you'll be there.

To beat Metalhead, charge into the posts while they're green or they're flashing red. When they are red, they'll have a protective barrier around them as they feed electricity to the boss. When you destroy them all, he'll run away. You'll be doing this once more before he falls for good.

angryponcho plays Spyro the Dragon - Part 13 of 21

In this episode, we die a bunch a time for no reason whatsoever, and go around in circles. And around. And around. And...around.

Tree Tops

Yep. More chickens.

At the beginning of the level, you'll notice a thief, but due to it being a cutscene you won't be able to go after him right away. This thief is green, but you'll also find thieves of other colors as you make your way to the exit.

The enemies here throw plants at you. Why? I don't know.

One of the branching paths at the beginning has the key. Close to where you initally meet the red thief, you'll find the key chest.

You'll have to use the Supercharge ramps in order to get to the red thief. When you finally catch up with him, flame him to get a purple gem worth 25.

For the yellow thief, you'll have to hit the supercharge ramp, go in a complete circle in mid-air, hit another Supercharge ramp, then glide to where the yellow thief is. That's another 25 gems from him if you hit him with the flame as well.

angryponcho plays Spyro the Dragon - Part 12 of 21

So...many...chickens...

Terrace Village (continued)

Apparently, there's not just one impenetrable metal chest in this level...there's three! All can be broken with firecrackers, and the second and third are right next to each other!

Misty Bog

I'm pretty sure the fodder in every world in Beast Makers Kingdom is chickens...

Oh, geez, apparently this is where plants attacking Spyro began. The plants with eyes start shaking when you get in range, and come at you if you come any closer. Thankfully, they're really easy to take out with the flame.

The frogs that hop around attack you with their tongues. Hit them with the flame from a distance, since their tongue attack is pretty fast.

Sometimes, you can attack enemies you've already gotten the gems from and get butterflies when you defeat them again. Interesting.

We finally cover the Beast Makers world in this installment!

Beast Makers Homeworld

The fodder here are chickens.

Glide to the Gnorcs on the electric panels, as those panels will shock you when you get to close. From there, just flame them.

The boards cannot be defeated with a charge attack, so you're stuck with your flame with those things.

The key is on one of the tree stump platforms near the balloonist, and the key chest isn't far behind.

Terrace Village

More chickens. Yum.

There are a lot of guys with guns in this stage, so be fast as you're taking them all out. You'll have to charge the little robots to defeat them, while the bigger guys can be taken out with the flame.

There's a firecracker that will break the impenetrable metal chest nearby when flamed.

angryponcho plays Spyro the Dragon - Part 10 of 21

Can you believe we're done with the third world already?

No doubt about it: this is a short game, but it's a lot of fun.

High Caves (continued)

You'll have to use the Supercharge to take out the metal spiders. Thankfully, there are only three in this cave, and if you can keep control of Spyro (which shouldn't be too difficult) you should have no problem destroying them.

There will be two more of them after this. Avoid them and make your way up the stairs and to the other end of the cave. You'll find a fairy who will kiss Spyro on the nose, giving him the Superflame power-up. For a short time, you'll be able to breathe some powerful flames that will actually take the metal spiders out. You can also destroy the jump chests and metal chests with it as well.

There are two areas that you can only glide from near the edge next to the metal spider caves. One of them has a thief. Don't forget to follow the thief's path and get all the gems.

Worried you have no way out. Glide off the edge when you leave anyway. Those things flying around that you saw in the last video are actually fairies, and they pick you and take you back to safe ground just before you're about to die. Nice.

The fairies will drop you off at a Supercharge ramp. Jump off the ramp and glide to the platform next to the cave on the right. You'll find some more chests and gems, as well as the twelvth and final thief. Congratulations! You have all the Dragon Eggs!

Crystal Flight

Rings, arches, boxes, planes. In that order.

After the fifth box, take care of the planes. This will give you enough time to take care of the level. You'll also be lined up with the last three boxes at the end, anyway.

Blowhard

When you get close to Blowhard, he'll come down to your level to fight you. Hit him with a flame, and he'll drop a gem before opening a door to another area. You'll be chasing after him a few times before you finish him off for good.

Magic Crafters Homeworld

Well, there's nothing left here, so it's time to head to the Beast Makers Homeworld. If you already got all the eggs before entering this world, you can enter this world without having to do anything in Magic Crafters.
