PrinceWatercress plays Super Mario Odyssey - Part 68 of 92

In this entry, we get done with the Wooded Kingdom. I also accidentally made this entry before the one for the previous video LMAO

First | Previous | Next | End

You can actually get the Power Moon in the cave between the Odyssey and the Iron Mountain with a Fire Brother. Walk off the edge, then jump mid-"hop" to get the Power Moon.

Power Moons

59. The Nut in the Robot Storeroom - In the huge storeroom, there is now a nut near the entrance. Break it by stretching into it with an Uproot to get this Power Moon.

61. The Nut Under the Observation Deck - Warp to the Iron Mountain Path, Station 8 checkpoint and get an Uproot. Walk around the underside of the Observation Deck. There is a wall in the corner where you can stretch and hit four invisible blocks. Get those to show up by hitting them from underneath, then stand on them and stretch into the nut above to get a Power Moon.

62. Bird Traveling the Forest - Warp to the Iron Road Entrance. There is a tree near Talkatoo. Climb up it and wait for a bird with a flashing light around it, then jump into the bird. You'll be able to get a Power Moon.

64. Hot, Hot, Hot from the Campfire - Bring a Fire Brother back to the campfire where Talkatoo is and throw a fireball at it to light it. The best place to find a Fire Brother is near the stream leading down to the pond near the Odyssey. This will give you a Power Moon.

68. Taking Notes: Stretching - At the Iron Mountain Path, Station 8 checkpoint, get an Uproot and drop down to the land at the bottom of the northern wall below the Iron Cage. Get the treble clef, then stretch to get all the notes before time runs out to get a Power Moon.

69. Wooded Kingdom Master Cup - For this one, you can't use the maze that you have to go through with Uproot, because the Gold Koopa will beat you every time. Instead, you have to drop back to the bottom of the mountain, make your way up, then do a series of hat jumps and dive jumps over a huge pit. In order to jump off your hat, you need to press Y instead of B after pressing ZL or ZR to do the ground pound after throwing your hat. Once you do a hat jump, you'll be able to do a second one; just keep holding the direction you were going with the left stick to ensure you clear the pit. You have to do this method, as this is the same path that the Gold Koopa takes. If you can pull it off, you'll barely beat the Gold Koopa and get this Power Moon.

71. Invisible Road: Danger! - There is a Moon Rock Pipe near the entrance to the Secret Flower Field. Once you go in, you'll be met with an invisible road, and the only way to see it is through the poison that the Piranha Plants here spit out. Watch your step so you don't walk into the poison or fall off the invisible bridge. There is also an invisible rotating platform; you'll want to pay attention here so that you don't fall off at this point, either. Take out the three Piranha Plants at the end by hitting them with the hat before jumping on them when they wilt downwards. The Power Moon will show up at the exit. Thankfully, there's no pit between the exit platform and the Piranha Plant platform, so you'll be safe as long as you don't walk into any poison afterwards.

72. Invisible Road: Hidden Room - At the invisible rotating platform, there is a hole in the wall, and if you can long jump and dive jump to it, you can get a Power Moon in a treasure chest.
