In this entry, we get the rest of the post-Bowser Power Moons in the Metro Kingdom. Next time, we're cracking the Moon Rock open.
First | Previous | Next | End
54. Bird Travelling in the City - This Power Moon involves a bird with flashing lights flying around. The quickest way to get it is to warp to the city entrance, stop a taxi at the side of the nearby taxi, then bounce off the taxi and hit the bird. In case you mess up, just re-warp and stop the taxi, then wait for the bird again.
60. Free Parking: Leap of Faith - Warp to the Heliport checkpoint, then go up to the top of the New Donk City Hall building. Ride the scooter, hit the P switch, ride across the mid-air platform, and when you're facing the Odyssey, keep going straight. You'll want to ride off the edge and land on the building with the three traffic cones on it. There's a parking spot for the scooter. Place the scooter there for a Power Moon.
61. Metro Kingdom Regular Cup - Koopa Freerunning is on a building near the rooftop with the scooter parking. To get to the goal, you'll need to go around a building on the west side of New Donk City Hall, go around the back alley and capture the pylon. Go up the pylon, then throw your hat at the Volbonans and launch yourself to the top of the building with the pool on it to get to the goal.
62. Hat-and-Seek: In the City - You'll need to read the street signs for this one. One of the citizens walking along eastern Cranky Avenue and northern Squawks Street will have a Bonneter attached to him, and if you talk to him from behind, you'll get a Power Moon.
63. Powering up the Power Plant - If you go back to where you got the Power Plant up and running again, you'll have to capture a battery block and move it around in order to plug the connection to the plug in front of the machine. Doing so will net you a Power Moon.
64. Up on the Big Screen - One of the buildings will have a line of people nearby. If you enter the building, you'll enter a theater that is playing Super Mario Bros. on the big screen. Go through the pipe to enter the 8-bit area. Here, you'll need to collect the five Moon Shards while travelling through World 1-1 to collect a Power Moon.
If you remember where the hidden 1-Up is, jumping up to hit the invisible block will reward you with a Life-Up Heart. The Starman box will give you a Heart to refill one hit point.
65. Down Inside the Big Screen - Remember the shortcut pipe that took you to the goal in World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros.? Doing that in the theater will get you a Power Moon.
