After we head home, we find out something unusual about Mizuho...
After you make it home, advance through the text and pick the second option to talk to your brother, who is moping around and sitting at the kotatsu. You'll learn he'll be doing a photoshoot for Miho Nakayama, and he'll give you another phone number with another gameplay hint.
Keep pressing A, and you'll eventually be back at school. You'll break the news to Sadakichi, and Sadakichi is thrilled. After you go through some more dialogue, you'll be back at home. Your brother isn't there, but your mother, who was in the background the last time you were home, is. She gives you another phone number with another gameplay hint.
She then puts a photograph your brother took on the kotatsu, assuming you would be interested in it. Pick the first option and put the cursor on the photograph, then pick the second option to take it. It's a picture of Miho Nakayama, but she seems to be holding a mascot that looks awfully like the one Mizuho dropped at school. Pick the sole option available and move it to the mascot, and our hero will finally put two and two together. Miho and Mizuho are the same person!
You'll then be back at school with Sadakichi. Choose the second option to talk to Sadakichi, then choose the first option. Pick the sole option available and you'll run into the vice principal, who is amazingly busy. Choose the second option and move the cursor so that it points at his necktie. Do this twice. After you give the vice principal a hard time, he'll leave.
Choose the first option, and you'll meet up with the principal, who talks to you for a while. When he's gone, pick the first option.
You'll be at the music room, and Mizuho will be there. Choose the second option, which allows you to call out to a certain person, and pick the first option, which is Mizuho. You'll finally talk to Mizuho, and you'll get a choice between Option A and Option B. Pick Option B, which lets you tell Mizuho you'd like to talk to her. Then, pick A, which signifies you've transferred here. Pick A ("I'd like for us to be friends.") Then, pick B, which allows you to tell her that the mascot in Miho's picture strongly resembles hers. She panics and doesn't really know what to do. The main character then says that the photographer was his brother. For a while, Mizuho - or Miho, in this case - doesn't know what to do, but the main character soon apologizes. Miho says she left school at 17 to become a pop star and is now finishing school up under the secret identity of Mizuho Takayama in order to avoid press coverage. The main character then agrees to walk Miho home after she accepts his apology.
