newfiebangaa and ColeNL112 play Final Fight 3 - Part 2 of 3

"Triple H is in this game?"

I wish.

Round 4

Since the bus route sign at the end of the first section was destroyed, Round 4 takes place at the bridge instead of the Chinatown segment of Metro City.

New enemies include Rick (a clone of Dirk who has a dash attack) and Andore (yep, that big wrestler guy has switched allegiance from Mad Gear).

The first section is a bridge, while the second section is a pier. After fighting a multitude of enemies, you'll jump on a ship. Walk into the door and take out the enemies. One of these enemies is a new one: Joe, a small, weird-looking guy who swiftly runs around and performs some nifty acrobatics in an attempt to throw you off. He can attack, too, and he does that with kicks, tackles and the ability to latch onto you and headbutt you. The little guy's got some stones, alright.

After beating all the enemies, you'll continue to the ship itself where you'll fight Drake. This guy can jump on you much like Dave can, and also attacks with an anchor. If you attack Drake, you'll be able to knock it out of his hands and back onto the floor. This is where you want the anchor to be, even though he can run straight to it and pick it up again and can swing it around and cause some real damage. Drake also has a dashing headbutt, and even if it doesn't hit, it can still help him cover some ground very quickly and catch up with you if you're trying to play keep-away.

Bonus Stage

In this bonus stage, you have to jump up and break the front of the bulldozer before it pushes you to the edge of the pier. Lucia saves you if you don't do it in time, but being able to do it knocks the front window out and sends the guy at the controls flying out of the bulldozer. You also get points for emptying the bulldozer's health meter. Running jump attacks do the most damage.

After beating the bridge stage, you'll find out that Sims Inc. is on the ship manifest.

Round 5

If you go through the bridge stage, you'll end up in the sewers. If you go through the Chinatown stage, you'll end up outside near the building.

The sewer section isn't that much different from the next section in terms of enemies, but you will notice the faint blinking of an item below you at the start. Pick it up before you do anything else. This is the Yashichi, the famed Capcom icon that showed up in 1942 and the original Mega Man. This will turn the character who picks it up invincible for a brief period of time.

Hunter is a tall, skinny stereotype of a Japanese baseball player wearing a hockey mask. You'll first see him when you enter the street section of the stage, and you won't see him in the sewers at all. He'll whack you with bat and also knock you off your feet with a baseball slide. At the end of the first section, you'll enter a building by busting down another wall.

Believe it or not, there are doors around here you can open by throwing enemies into them. One of them leads to a slightly more lengthy computer room. You can also beat the round in this section and bypass the battle against Stray. To do that, destroy all of the grey machines with the tubes sticking out by throwing enemies into them. When you reach the end of it with all four of these things destroyed, you'll finish the stage and head on to Round 6.

The next section is some sort of metalworks factory. When you finally make it to the end after fighting a lot of bad guys, you'll take on the punk Stray. He's fast, he has a stomp and he can also block your attacks. He can also hit you a kick attack, a multi-jab attack and a dashing punch. Just stay on the move when you're fighting him, and keep an eye on what he's doing and you should be okay.

Bonus Stage

In this bonus stage, you'll have to run to the right while avoiding (or taking down) oil drums. Attack an oil drum only if you have no choice. (At least you'll get points for it.) If you can reach the computer at the end and destroy it, you win. You'll be awarded 500 points for every second left on the clock.

The trail of the Skull Cross gang leads our heroes back to Metro City and into one of the city's largest buildings. The final fight is about to begin!
