GenericDude1 plays Kirby's Dream Land 2 - Part 3 of 20

We've only covered two videos before now and we've got almost a third of the game complete? Well...

Level 2: Big Forest

(continued)

Level 2-3

No, it's not.

As we saw earlier, watch out for the Kabuus in the first section. They'll pop up when you least expect them.

The second section is all vertical. If you have Coo and the Parasol ability, this part is easy.

The third section is another mini-boss. This time around, it's a sentient parasol guy with one sandaled foot and the ability to spin around really fast. He'll kick the shoe at you, which you can inhale and send back at him.

If you already have Coo, you won't get him here. Instead, you'll get a black blob. He will pop up if you already have the animal friend that a mini-boss room would normally give you. Touching him will replenish two units of health. There's a slim chance that you might be able to get a gray blob with a little bow on its head. (It's supposed to be some pink girl blob.) If she pops up instead, grab her. She gives you an extra life.

The third section has you going downwards. Take care not to take unnecessary damage from the porcupines.

The fourth section has this rotor guy near the upper-left corner where the three stars are. If you don't have an animal friend, he won't bother you. If you do, however, he comes after you. If he touches you at that point, you lose your animal friend. He flies away if you avoid him for a while, though.

Anyway, from the beginning of the fourth section, it's just a short trip to the goal.
Level 2 Boss: Nelly and Nruff
Use the Nruffs (the small hedgehogs) as ammunition against Nelly (the big hedgehog). Nelly will jump around sometimes, and he'll even throw bombs every once in a while. You can use these as ammunition also if you're fortunate enough.

Level 2 Bonus

Once again, more bonus FAQ stuff that's not in the video.

Avoid the Nruffs and collect all the stars. They'll be moving around like products on a factory conveyor belt, so pay attention!
