The Castle of Darkness is a castle full of darkness. Thought you'd just like to know.
We're at our destination? Brilliant!
One of the jumps at the beginning is a pain in the butt. In order to jump off the top wall near the beginning, you have to time your first jump so that your foot will touch the second wall, otherwise you won't make it.
You'll eventually enter some wind tunnels. Don't touch the red walls unless you have the fire shield...if you do have it, you can walk through them!
You'll enter a cave full of spikes on the floors and the walls. Once again, the fire shield makes everything so much easier.

0:59 - Here's the jump I was talking about at the beginning of this entry.
1:53 - Hey, wind tunnels! They save the best for last! Unless you have the Fire Shield like ProtonJon did, you'll have to follow a set path.
2:25 - The Shogun of Darkness must be really cheesed off, since spikes now pop in and out of the walls...
2:42 - ...and platforms slide in and out of the wall in the background.
4:11 - A whole cave full of spikes. Woo-hoo.
4:53 - This part is really annoying. You'll have to be fast so the spikes won't pop out on you.
5:10 - Spikes, spikes everywhere!
5:35 - After what seems to be the hardest part of the game, you fight a Kabuki dancer. His fans fly around and home in on you, and he throws his mask to where you're standing. He's still on the easy side, though.
6:16 - You have reclaimed the Bushido! Yay! Too bad the Shogun of Darkness has a headstart on you...
