Kikoskia plays Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (Game Gear) - Part 3 of 3

Yep, another guide that's come and gone. Sometime I question my sanity for covering all four versions of the video game adaptation.

Stage 4
Ooze Men

You'll meet Ivan Ooze soon enough, and he'll kill you in one hit no matter how good you are. It's part of the storyline, however, and when this happens, Ivan Ooze will go to the Command Center and destroy everything.

Stage 5
Hornitron

Just for the sake of saying it, I went ahead and re-read the guide to the Genesis/Mega Drive version again. Christ, I must have either really hated where I was living at the time or the sarcasm, jokes and writing in itself just came out really easily. Especially the "We Need A Hero" joke. I laughed when I read that again. Yeah, I actually read something of mine and laughed at it, which usually doesn't happen.

Alright, I'll have to admit it. Ninja Megafalconzord is awesome. Of course, since the game wants to display it as "Ninja M.F. Zord," I'll just call it Ninja Motherfuckerzord. Because that's what this one is: a bad-ass motherfucker.

You can get the Falconzord to come off of your back and fire missiles at the ground, but beware: if you get attacked, the attack is cancelled out instantly. That's lame. You can do a flying dive attack in the air that reaches across the screen, you have a punch combo, a bear claw slash and some kick attacks that include a Tatsumaki Senpu Kyakku. Yeah, the Hurricane Kick is included, and it's really useful if you get trapped in a corner, because it can get you out of the corner and deal multiple hits.

You also have a pildedriver move, which looks really good for an 8-bit game.

Hornitron is amazingly cheap, so be prepared with the small arsenal of special moves that the Ninja Megafalconzord has and use them to the best of your ability. Especially that Hurricane Kick.

When you beat Hornitron, Ivan will combine himself and the Scorpitron (which you don't fight in this game, amazingly) into the Hornitron to create the Ivan Ecto-Morphicon.

Stage 6
Ivan Ecto-Morphicon

Just like the Hornitron, the Ivan Ectomorphicon is extremely cheap, and it's attacks can do a bit of damage (about a sixth of a full health bar). Turnabout is fair play, so attack this guy as soon as he gets up. If you can dizzy him, hit him with something powerful.

When you win this battle, you'll fly to the moon and fight him again. This time, you'll both be fully healed, and the gravity becomes a lot lighter. If you're going to use jump attacks, use them only when he's in the air with you and at the top of your jump. The Hurricane Kick will be as useful as ever here.

Once you win here, that's it. The game is finished. You've won. Enjoy your really bad ending and even shorter credits (in relation to the Genesis/Mega Drive version).
