newfiebangaa plays The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey and Minnie (Super Nintendo) - Part 3 of 3

...and just like that, we finish it off!

Stage 5
The Frozen Plains

The crystal enemies that run across the ground split into two if you hit them with a block. Another block hit will do the miniature clones in.

The red spiked crystals walk along floors and ceilings, so be careful.

The blocks with the clocks on them will freeze time for a few seconds when you grab one.

Leap into the water that crests up and down as soon as you see it and go left. The door here leads to the General Store.

The mid-boss is the weasel again, and this time he spins around in a ice-blue colored spiky cylinder. Jump on his head when he exposes it as he spins around, but keep in mind that you'll take a hit if you jump on him while he's still flashing. Using the Safari Suit to avoid him as he flashes is a good idea. The mini-boss will also throw two spikes to the sides at time, but they're dead easy to avoid. The water continues to rise and sink periodically, so keep that in mind as you're fighting him.

For the next section, you'll be swimming...for a while. The air bubbles that you can clearly see your character through are safe spots. If you stay there, you'll be able to stand there without drowning and also refill on air immediately.

There's a door somewhere in this underwater maze that gives you a Minnie doll. Just like the Mickey doll, it works as a 1-Up.

The boss here is a cloud. Use the Sweeper Suit to suck up the cloud and make it smaller. Every time you bring its size down a notch, you'll be rewarded with a battery to refill your energy. As it disappears and reappears, watch out for the snowflakes and thunder that it shoots at you. The thunder is worse than the snowflakes, as it bounces right off the floor and goes at the same angle it hit. Once you get enough damage on the boss, you'll suck it up and turn the entire boss into a battery once and for all.

It should be noted that the boss looks slightly different in the Genesis/Mega Drive version.

Stage 6
The Baron's Castle

Wow! We finally made it!

You'll be swinging over fire pits, ducking under spiked maces, going down chainlink zip lines and climbing walls in the first section.

For the second section, you'll have ghosts coming out of suits of armor. The first door you'll see leads to the last General Store location of the game.

Once again, you'll be in a maze, and some of the doors will lead to past mini-bosses. At least the fire juggler one is easier now that you have suits to kill him off faster with.

The blocks with the arrows will transport you when you stand on them. Just be careful not to touch spikes or enemies.

The columns have evil Pete faces, which shoot fire at you.

The second set of arrow blocks has a door that you can easily reach with the Safari Suit. Inside is a Crystal Heart and a Mickey doll.

Watch out for the cannons as you make your way up the final stretch. They'll fire at you, and the ammo comes down on parachutes to throw you off slightly. After this, you'll finally meet Baron Pete!

When he walks up to a pot, he'll summon two skeleton enemies that you can pick up and throw at his helmet, which you'll need to break first. You can also break it with the Cowboy Suit's gun. When he uses his magic away from the pot, he'll summon a pink fireball that goes into the air and turns into three bigger ones, which fly downward at different angles. It can also split into two and crawl along the floor, or circle around once and go to the side of the screen. Once you've broken his helmet, you'll be able to either jump on his head or hit him in the head with the Cowboy Suit. You can jump off Pete's hands when they're down and ready to summon magic, in case you run out of ammo. Just don't jump on the hands while he's currently casting, or you'll take damage.

After enough hits, you'll take on his second form. This time, he'll turn into a dragon. Jump on his nose (or hit it with the Cowboy suit) and jump over the flames when they come your way). Unlike the Baron Pete portrait, the flames here go much further.

When you beat the second form, Baron Pete will be trapped in the crystal ball, and everything is back to normal again! You did it!
