This was the farthest I could ever make it as a kid. Man, I sucked.
Act 3
The level is kinda dark, and the lightning flashes every couple of seconds, helping you figure out where all the platforms are and everything. Probably the most annoying enemy in this first section is the ghost flame. These things pop up every so often and follow you around, even if you jump over them.
In the second section, you'll finally be in the Tower of Lahja. At the start of the section, you'll be introduced to the blade-throwing guy. He can throw his blade in any direction, which can make dealing with him (or avoiding him) a real pain.
Along with spiders that spit at you and undead warriors, you'll also meet guys with shields that shoot fireballs at you. These guys take three sword slashes to kill, and they bear a resemblance to Marth from the first game.
The boss here is some sort of cyborg-looking alien thing that flies around and shoots at you, then drops down and shoots missiles into the air. If you have two Shadow Clones, this guy is pretty easy. All you have to do is have one Clone in the air so that you can slash at him when he comes back up. If you have the Orange Flame, you can use that against him numerous times to kill him even faster, especially if you have the Shadow Clones with you.
After beating the boss, you'll meet Irene, only to be interrupted by Ashtar. He zaps you with a sword, but the guy with blonde hair and sunglasses shoots him in the back. Ashtar is unfazed, and he teleports into the Maze of Darkness with Irene in tow.
