PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 10 of 10

It's time for the final few stages in the game! Beat this game, and you'll beat the hardest Crazy Castle game bar-none.

For Stage 78, go up and get the glove, then go up again. Get the carrots up top, then work your way down. It shouldn't really matter who you use the glove on.

For Stage 79, go right and drop down. Take the left pipe up, then go left. When you drop down, go right. Make your way back to the start. This time, you can get the glove without getting destroyed. Use the glove on Sam, then take the right pipe. Go right on the other end, and you should be able to get the last of the carrots.

For Stage 80, go all the way to the left and get rid of Wile E. Coyote. Continue all the way to the left and take the pipe that goes up. Go right and use the safe on Daffy. From here, you should be able to beat The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle!

I actually had to look up how to beat Stage 72. It was that bad. Thankfully, the rest of the series isn't nearly as bad (as far as I can tell).

Stage 72 is the dirt worst. For this, go all the way to the right and wait for a Sylvester to reach the wall. Go up the pipe, then go left. Drop down the stairs, then go back up. Get the other glove as you destroy a Sylvester, then wait for another Sylvester to drop down your way and kill him. Go right and enter the first pipe you can go up, then go left. Use the bucket on a Sylvester, then go left. Get the carrot near Sam, then make your way to the right and go up the second pipe that you can go up in. You'll get the last carrot.

For Stage 73, go down the pipe, then go left and make your way down. Go down the pipe, then go left and take the pipe that goes up. Go all the way to the left and go down the pipe. Push the weight so it kills an enemy, and use the glove on another enemy on the ground floor. Go up the pipe in the center of the room, and get on the platforms directly below it to get carrots. Get back to where you found the glove, then pick the pipe that goes down for the last carrot.

For Stage 74, go all the way to the right and make your way down. Use the safe and the weight to get rid of enemies on the ground floor. From here, you'll have to figure out which pipe goes where. As for the two carrots in the upper corners, you'll have to manipulate the Sylvesters to get them out of your way. Use the left pipe closest to the center to get the left one; you'll have to be lucky for the right one (I guess).

For Stage 75, go right and get the glove. Do not use it on Daffy as you get the carrots here. Go up the stairs to the far left and go up the pipe. You'll need the glove here. Use it on Wile E. Coyote as you go left and get the other glove. You should be safe from here.

For Stage 76, go all the way to the left and go up the pipe, then get ready to drop the weight on an enemy. The pipe going up leads to a carrot, but the one going down leads to a carrot and a glove. When you get the glove, go all the way to the right, and get all the carrots there. Make sure you have the first five carrots before getting the three to the right of the glove.

For Stage 77, go all the way to the left, then go down and get the glove, but don't use it on Daffy. Instead, save it for Wile E. Coyote. Continue to the right and get the other glove. Save it for Sylvester. Save the Yosemite Sam carrot all the way to the left for last.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 8 of 10

From here, progress through the levels will be a little bit grueling. How I got through these levels, I will never know.

For Stage 66, go right and get the carrot juice. Take out Wile E. Coyote or Daffy Duck as soon as possible. After this, you'll have to be careful in getting all of the carrots.

For Stage 67, you'll be running away from Sylvester while getting all the carrots, as the Sylvester at the beginning will be relentlessly chasing you. From there, you'll have to get to the top and figure the path out as quickly as possible, or else the other two Sylvesters will entrap you at the top.

For Stage 68, get to the top and get the carrot juice, then immediately get to the bottom and take out everyone you can there.

For Stage 69, go down immediately, then go all the way left and go up. Go all the way to the right, then go up. Take the right-most pipe, go up, and make your way to the glove to get the last carrot. The glove is a red herring.

For Stage 70, Make your way up, take the pipe up to the carrot juice, then go left and make your down and take down all the enemies while you're still invincible.

For Stage 71, go up the stairs to the left, then get the glove. From there, keep going up on the right side of the room and keep getting gloves. If any enemies get in the way, kill them.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 7 of 10

At this point in the game, the game makes it clear it loves pipe puzzles...A LOT.

For Stage 58, work your way up. Use the crate on a Sylvester, then grab the boxing glove. You may have to take out a Sylvester with it. Save the carrot on the right near the bottom for last.

For Stage 59, you will have to get to the bottom right away and get the glove, then work your way up. The glove is best used on the Sylvester at the top, even though I used it on Sam and got the stage cleared anyway.

For Stage 60, go up the stairs and get the glove while avoiding enemies. Use the safe on Daffy if you have to, and save the two carrots on the far right for last.

For Stage 61, go down and get rid of Daffy and Wile E. Coyote. This will make things a little easier. Go all the way to the edge to get the Sylvester to enter the door, then make your way to the top while grabbing the carrots. The last carrot will be to the left at the top.

For Stage 62, go left and get the glove, then get all the way to the second-highest floor. You'll need to lure all the enemies up at the top to the right so that they drop down. Once you do, get the carrot juice and annihilate everyone. You may have to use the glove to take out one of the Sylvesters in the meantime.

For Stage 63, go down and get the glove. Use the safe on Wile E., and use the glove on Daffy, as he will be the harder character between him and Sam to manipulate.

For Stage 64, the pipe stages are back. Go left and push the safe into Daffy, then go for the carrot juice and destroy everyone. From there, the stage is all yours!

For Stage 65, go down and get the carrot juice, and defeat whoever you can. There will be another carrot juice on the right end of the room. As long as you can get rid of a few enemies, you can take your time and figure out where you need to go.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 6 of 10

Now the game is kicking our butt. To be fair, we're more than halfway through the game now.

For Stage 49, save the bucket for Daffy and use a glove on a Sylvester. That'll make it easier!

For Stage 50, hit Wile E. Coyote with the safe. Be sure to get everything on the bottom and lure Yosemite Sam all the way to the right so he drops to the bottom. This leaves the two boxing gloves in the level for both Sylvesters.

For Stage 51, go down and take Wile E. Coyote out with the crate, then grab the carrot up and get the carrot juice to take out as many Sylvesters as possible. Otherwise, you'll probably have one Sylvester you'll have to somehow outsmart.

For Stage 52, do not go all the way up. Go right instead. Get the glove, then start going up. You may not need the crate if you go all the way to the left and start focusing on carrots from there.

For Stage 53, go all the way up and get the glove, then go back and use it on either Yosemite Sam or Wile E. Coyote. There is absolutely nothing on the upper-right worth going over there for; you will be trapped if you do.

For Stage 54, get the glove and go up top. Do not drop all the way down from the top unless you want to run right into Daffy. Instead work your way back down from the start. Take out Daffy. There's another glove. The stage should open up from there.

For Stage 55, get the glove on the left, then go up top. All you need to do is outsmart Sylvester, use the bucket against Daffy, then send the glove at Sylvester when you see him.

For Stage 56, go left and get the glove, and drop the safe on Daffy. Use the glove on a Sylvester. Go up top and get both gloves just in case.

For Stage 57, go right and get the glove, then go down and get another glove. Continue to move down and use the weight on Wile E. Coyote, and use a glove on Daffy and another on Sam. However, if you can outsmart Sam and Daffy, try to do so.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 5 of 10

We are officially more than halfway through the game...and it's not going to get any easier.

For Stage 38, go all the way to the left and use the glove that you find on Daffy. Save the carrot in the upper-right corner of the stage for last.

For Stage 39, go left, get the carrot juice and take out as many enemies as possible. Use the boxing glove or the safe on Wile E. Coyote.

For Stage 40, get the carrot juice, then destroy everybody. Use the weapons if you need to.

For Stage 41, work on one side, then work on the other. You'll have to push the weight at the top to the top door on the upper-right if you want a chance to get one Sylvester out of your way.

For Stage 42, grab the glove, then work your way down. You'll have to take out at least one Sylvester.

For Stage 43, save the carrot on the far right for last. Grab the carrot juice and take out everyone that you can immediately. There is a glove in case you have a straggler.

For Stage 44, go up and get the glove before doing anything else. Use the carrot juice to get rid of Wile E. Coyote.

For Stage 45, grab the gloves and use the carrot juice at the top to get rid of as many enemies as you can.

For Stage 46, get the carrot juice and rush to Wile E. Coyote. The rest of the stage should be easy.

For Stage 47, make your way down and get the gloves as you do. Save them for Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote.

For Stage 48, get the carrot and the glove to the right. Work your way down. Use the glove on Wile E. Coyote at the very bottom. Save the carrot in the middle just above the bottom section for last.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 4 of 10

Now I'm blowing through levels again. Guess what? This won't last.

For Stage 27, go right, get the carrot juice and take out Wile E. Coyote as quickly as possible. Be sure to take out all the other enemies, too. The bucket will be used for Daffy Duck if you're quick enough before getting the juice. You'll be good to go!

For Stage 28, you'll want to get rid of Sam as soon as possible.

For Stage 29, get the boxing glove. You'll probably have to use it on Daffy, Wile E. or Sam. Make sure to use the crate on one of them, too.

For Stage 30, you'll need to get rid of one of the Sylvesters as well as Wile E. Coyote with the two boxing gloves in this level.

For Stage 31, get one of the carrot juices and get to Daffy as soon as possible.

For Stage 32, get up to the top and get the boxing glove, then drop all the way down, get the carrot juice and take out everyone you can on the way up before it wears off.

For Stage 33, take out Daffy with the weight, then make your way down. Get the boxing glove, then get the carrot juice and take out whoever you can before it expires.

For Stage 34, get the glove to the left of the start. You'll want to use the crate to get rid of Yosemite Sam.

For Stage 35, get to the carrot juice, then grab it as soon as you start seeing Sylvesters so you can lay waste to all of them as quickly as possible. There is a boxing glove here, but you probably won't need it if you don things right.

For Stage 36, if you get Sam and Wile E. in the same area near the left, you'll have to be quick to outsmart them both. If you get all the carrots from the left side to the right, you won't need the carrot juice and you won't have to deal with Daffy.

For Stage 37, you'll want to grab the glove and save the bucket for Wile E. Coyote.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 3 of 10

We're now in the first half of the 20's as we continue with this game.

You'll have to be careful at the start of Stage 21. The door leading to the dead end with the carrot is key, but you'll also have to stand near the stairs to get a Sylvester to go all the way to the top. Once you get to the lower half, et the glove and throw it at a Sylvester.

For Stage 22, lure the Sylvester to the top, then make your way down and get the carrots along the way. As for Wile E. Coyote, you'll have to go down through the middle door on his level as quickly as possible. Grab the glove, then get all the carrots and the juice. Run down everyone while you're still invincible, and get rid of Wile E. Coyote with the glove. You should be fine from there.

On Stage 23, go left and down the stairs for the carrot, then go all the way to the right and grab the glove. As for Daffy, he's the one you want to hit with the glove, not Wile E.

For Stage 24, hit Daffy with the crate. Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote can be outsmarted, thankfully.

For Stage 25, grab the glove, then make your way to the bottom and take out Wile E. Once you do that, you should be able to get the rest of the carrots without incident. Just watch out for all the other enemies.

For Stage 26, get all the carrots above the Daffy level, then go all the way down, take out Wile E. Coyote and finish the job.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 2 of 10

Now is the time that the game's difficulty increases a bit. Don't expect another video where I blow through a ton of levels in record time like I did in the first one again.

When you get the glove in Stage 15, kill Sylvester as soon as possible. Don't do what I did and wait for him to get to the top, throw the glove and hope you don't get killed.

Go straight for the glove in Stage 16 and take out a Sylvester. Yosemite Sam will still be a pain, but at least a Sylvester won't be flanking him most of the time.

In Stage 17, get the glove and all the carrots below the starts, then use the glove to take out Daffy. From there, Sylvester will keep going up. Keep driving him up until you're at the second floor from the top, then move left. When Sylvester starts dropping down. go all the way back down to the level where Daffy was and get up to the top as fast as you can and get all the carrots in the top half of the stage.

In Stage 18, grab the glove and go down as soon as possible to get the carrot juice. Take out one of the Sylvesters on the left half, then use the glove you found and the glove on the other side to take out the two Sylvesters on the right half.

You'll need to use the boxing glove on Daffy in Stage 19, but if you can somehow get around him, use it against Yosemite Sam.

For Stage 20, grab the boxing glove as quickly as possible, then go down and left and take out Daffy. From there, get all the carrots on the left side before getting all on the right side.

PrinceWatercress plays Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle (Game Boy) - Part 1 of 10

We've gone from the NES game to the Game Boy game...and this one is even more difficult!

Left and Right let you move left and right, while Up lets you enter doorways and stairways. Be careful, as pressing Up while not in front of a doorway will cause you to keep moving in the direction you are currently facing. If you go down a stairway (the horizontal non-doorway stairs, you will not be able to stop going down until you are all the way down it. Pressing either button after collecting a boxing glove lets you launch it forward. Simple enough.

If you walk off an edge, you'll move forward one step after you land.

The main goal of every stage is to collect all eight carrots in the stage without getting caught by the enemies. If an enemy touches you, you will lose a life and you will have to start the stage over. If you collect all eight carrots in a stage, you will go on to the next stage and you will get a 1-Up for your efforts.

Safes, crates, weights and buckets can be pushed either into enemies or off cliffs where they can fall on top of enemies to defeat them. The weights move one space forward, while the safes move two forward, the crates move three forward and the buckets move five forward. If they fall off a cliff or hit a wall, they will disappear. There are also boxing gloves you can pick up and then use at any time by pressing A or B to destroy an enemy in front of you, and you can carry multiple boxing gloves to give beatdowns to multiple enemies. A boxing glove will only disappear when it hits an enemy.

There are a couple of enemies in this game, and most of them will be different colored version of Sylvester. The Sylvesters will do whatever they can to chase after Bugs, but the frequency of when they go up or down a doorway, stairway or pipe when near them varies. They have two different colored noses to tell them apart, and you'll have to keep an eye on them to see how they operate. The pink Sylvester will always go up doorways, stairways and pipes if he is able to. Yosemite Sam usually stays on the level that he is on and usually goes in which ever direction you're doing, and never uses doorways, stairways or pipes at all. While his movement pattern is simple compared to the Sylvesters, but he can be a nuisance.. Daffy Duck is much like Yosemite Sam, but he can also stop moving sometimes and can also turn around when he hits a wall. Wile E. Coyote moves much like Yosemite Sam as well.

The jar with the liquid in it is carrot juice. Picking it up will make you temporarily invincible, and touching enemies while under the effects of the carrot juice will get rid of them.

When in doorways, you are invincible, and enemies cannot hurt you while you are in them. If you and an enemy are using the same doorway at the same time, they cannot hurt in that situation, either. As soon as you come out of a doorway, however, you are completely vulnerable to being touched by enemies.

To go into a pipe, either press Up when a pipe entrance is above you, or press Down when a pipe entrance is below you. When you go in a pipe, you won't stop traveling through it until you come out of the other side. Just like with doorways, you are completely invincible while traveling through pipes but completely vulnerable as soon as you come out of them.

As you go further into the levels, the Sylvesters will prove to be more and more cunning. Sometimes you'll have to move to a certain area to bait them away from being in an area you want to be in.

The stages are pretty easy so far, and when you complete a level, you can get a replay of how you did last time or when you beat it. Just select "Video" on Mode Select and you'll get your instant replay. Select "Play" and you'll go to the next level.

PrinceWatercress plays The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle - Part 6 of 6

And that's it! There's the end of Crazy Castle!

For Stage 56. go the the top as quickly as possible and grab the punch glove on the way up.

For Stage 57, you'll have to save the carrot in the room with the pink Sylvester for last, who you'll have to move back and forth to get him where you want him (which may take several tries). Use the punch glove on the black Sylvester.

For Stage 58, make your way down and get the punch glove first. Use the punch glove on the black Sylvester.

For Stage 59, you'll need the two punch gloves in the stage for the black Sylvester and Yosemite Sam. You'll also need to utilize the pipe leading to the left in the upper-right corner and get all the carrots requiring it early.

For Stage 60, avoid the "No Carrot" sign, and go down the doorway at the top and grab the carrot on the other end immediately as you start your race to the bottom. If you see a punch glove, grab it. Sam and Wile E. are the ones getting knocked out.

And that's it! You've beaten Crazy Castle! Enjoy your ending and your stage select password! Just input the password, then use Up and Down to select the stage you want to replay!

PrinceWatercress plays The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle - Part 5 of 6

Can't believe we're so close to the end of the game in such a short amount of time...

Stage 45 has a "No Carrot" sign that takes you to Stage S2, much like the one in Stage 42.

For Stage 49, wipe out Yosemite Sam with the boxing glove.

For Stage 50, get the carrot in the upper-left corner as early as possible.

For Stage 53, work your way to the top as quickly as possible, then make your way down.

PrinceWatercress plays The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle - Part 4 of 6

Looking back at this one, I'm surprised I had the time that I did with it. The first Crazy Castle for Game Boy would be much harder than this, in retrospect.

For Stage 35, use the ten-ton weight; it's there for a reason.

For Stage 38, don't go for the boxing glove near the start first; instead, lure Sam to the far left. That should get the rest of the stage sorted.

Stage 42 is the location for the second "No Carrot" sign and takes you to Stage S2.

PrinceWatercress plays The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle - Part 3 of 6

Well, at least I can add some strategies now.

For those asking "Hey Watercress, why aren't you being more detailed with your strategies?", that's because I played this game completely blind and the enemies are easy to figure out when you play the game long enough.

The "No Carrots" sign starts showing up in the second half of the game, and there are four stages in the game where it shows up. Running into it takes away one of your lives and takes you to one of three special rounds: "S1," "S2," and "S3."  I will not be playing those for this playthrough, since they are super-hard. If you die in them, you get sent back three stages. There are passwords for them, but if you die even with these passwords, you'll still be sent back to the main stages. If you somehow beat them, you'll get three extra lives and you'll skip to the next stage.

For Stage 22, make your way to the bottom first, then go to the top.

For Stage 24, go all the way to the right first and drop down to the bottom, then be quick to avoid Daffy and work your way up.

For Stage 26, you'll have to lure Daffy towards you by keeping him close to you so he can follow you. From there, you can hit him with the bucket.

For Stage 29, if you can get Daffy to go all the way to the left on the bottom floor, you can move to the right to get Daffy to move right, then keep moving left to get the carrot there. Save that carrot for last.

The first "No Carrot" sign is in Stage 30 and takes you to Stage S1.

PrinceWatercress plays The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle - Part 2 of 6

There's not really much I can say about these videos, is there?

As mentioned in the video, this was originally a Roger Rabbit game when it came out on the Famicom. When it came time to give this game an American release, Kemco lost the rights to the Roger Rabbit (which is Disney) but had to rights to the Warner Bros. license in Japan and America, which allowed them to use Bugs Bunny. That's why this is a Bugs Bunny game in the West and the enemies in the game seem like they've been plucked out of nowhere: they used to be the Doom Squad weasels from Who Framed Roger Rabbit? as well as other characters from that movie.

For Stage 17, getting rid of Sam is strongly advised. As a matter of fact, he is probably the one person you'll be wanting to get rid of most in the stages where you see him.

PrinceWatercress plays The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle - Part 1 of 6

Sixty levels. No practice runs. No problem?

Honey Bunny is trapped in the Crazy Castle, and you'll have to go through 60 stages to rescue her! Time to get moving.

Left and Right let you move left and right, while Up lets you enter doorways and stairways. Be careful, as pressing Up while not in front of a doorway will cause you to keep moving in the direction you are currently facing.
