FFL2and3rocks plays Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Game Boy) - Part 3 of 3

We're at the last level already? Well, now...

Level 5 - Ranger

As soon as the level starts, don't start walking right immediately. An energy bolt will shoot from the ceiling right in front of you. Move as soon as it stops. Don't step on the parts of the floor that are darker than normal. You'll take damage if you do.

The second section is a vertical one. Take your time on those small platforms. For some reason, the edges look like faces...

You'll deal with two more horizontal sections before dealing with another vertical one. The Putties that shoot the waves aren't that hard; the waves just go in one straight movement.

Apparently, if you touch the bottom of the "faces," you take damage. I don't get it...then again, this is only being played on Normal mode in the video.

In the last section, all you have to deal with is Putties and bats. When the music dies, you're at the end. Destroy the last Putty and go through the door.

Level 5 - Megazord

Was Rita ever this huge in the show?

Don't answer that.

Hit her when she comes down, then destroy the bats she sends out (they home in on you if you don't). She'll fly away and come back down again. You can hit her every time she does this. If you can get some extra hits in when she's sending out bats or flying back upwards, great.

When she's at half health, she'll start flying around the screen firing projectiles at the floor. When she's flying towards you, duck to avoid taking damage. Keep dodging and jump kicking, and victory is yours!

Rita will turn into a bat and fly away. Until next time...

Ending

Zordon congratulates you for a job well done. Yes. It's a one screen ending. No credits. Yippee.

FFL2and3rocks plays Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Game Boy) - Part 2 of 3

Hooray! Bad level design!

Level 3 - Ranger

The first part of this level is all-vertical. Jump from one platform to the next without touching spikes. Thankfully, it's pretty easy.

The second part has spikes on the ceiling as well as small spike pits on the floor. You'll have to move carefully to avoid being hit by the Putties that jump towards you, and you'll have to jump carefully to keep from touching the spikes. Once again, some putties will throw bombs at you.

In the third section, you'll be traveling downward trying to avoid spikes. Again. Putties will also be walking back and forth throwing grenades at you. (What's with these Putties and explosives? They didn't use those on the show!) If you're playing as the Pink Ranger, though, you can use your bow on them instead of having to get up close. When you're near the end, there'll be a rather weird downward drop where spikes are littered all over the floors. If you have enough health, though, you can still make it.

Level 3 - Megazord

Wish I knew who the third boss of the game is.

Anyway, he leaps all the way to the other side of the screen, before jumping to the middle to the other end. He performs those two jumps again, then does the big jump before shooting lightning bolts at you.

Get hits on him while he's jumping around, and duck to avoid the lightning bolts.

Level 3 - Bonus

You'll be hitting bats this time. This one is about as easy as the first bonus level. Just remember that some of the bats fly around faster than others.

Level 4 - Ranger

In the first section, drop down and move all the way to the left. Jump over the pool of water (which damages you if you touch it) and punch the bats as you make your way right.

In the second section, Putties will be dropping from the ceiling with little warning, so be prepared to punch these things as soon as they come. Jump over the pools of water as you hit Putties and bats.

In the third section, you'll be jumping up stairways as you punch rocks. This part is a bit monotonous, but thankfully the rocks are all you're going to have to deal with here.

In the fourth section, avoid the bubbles, since they damage you when you touch them. Putties will be ducking and throwing grenades; attack them after they throw the third grenade.

In the fifth section, you'll be jumping upwards. It's a bit easy to avoid the falling oil drops and rocks if you know which path to take.

In the sixth section, it's more bats, more oil drops and more pools of water. Thankfully, this section is also easy as long as you know where the bats show up, as they always appear from behind in this part.

Level 4 - Megazord

Finally, you're at the boss. Whaddya know, it's Goldar!

Goldar will toss skulls at you. Hit the skull, jump over it, then hit it on the way back. You'll then be able to get close to Goldar, hit him and run away, then attack the skull again.

When you bring his health down to half, he'll stomp on the ground and cause lightning to strike from the sky. Keep moving and the lightning won't hit you. As you move around, you should definitely be able to get some shots in on him. He'll do this three times, throw a skull, and return to bringing down lightning bolts again.

Level 4 - Bonus

Hey, hey, it's skull-cracking time.

The last few skulls will come out from the left side of the screen, so be careful.

FFL2and3rocks plays Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Game Boy) - Part 1 of 3

In this game, you can choose between the Gray Ranger, the Gray Ranger, the Gray Ranger, the Gray Ranger, and the Gray Ranger. Don't you just love Game Boy?

Level 1 - Ranger

Wait...did the Putties trash the wrong side of town because Rita told them to? I don't get it.

Anyway, this level's really straightforward. Putties will run towards you and you just press the B button at the right time to bitch-slap them. No, that's not a punch. That's a bitch-slap.

A little later into the stage, you'll see bombs drop from open windows when you get too close. It's kinda hard to dodge them the first play-through but as you replay it and replay it, you'll figure out where it happens.

A few of the Putties will even jump. You'll have to go airborne to hit them.

When you reach the end, the Megazord forms and the boss battle begins. Yeah, there's only one section...unlike the rest of these levels...

Level 1 - Megazord

Oh, great. It's Squatt.

Hit him when he comes towards you. He flashes and stops moving for a few seconds, then stops flashing and starts moving again.

When he starts flashing white and hiding his face, run to the other end of the screen and jump over the fireballs.

He's pretty easy.

Level 1 - Bonus

Hit all the fireballs for points. The more you hit, the more points you get. You won't get anything for hitting them all except for bragging rights.

Level 2 - Ranger

You have more power, so you can take more hits in this level than in the last. As you complete more levels, you'll gain more maximum power.

After the first three putties, a Putty will stomp the ground and cause rocks to fall down from right in front of you before he runs away. Stand still to avoid the rocks. Shortly afterwards, one will appear from behind you. Run away to avoid the rocks this time.

You'll also see dirt moving around sometimes. Run away from it and hit the Putty that comes out of the ground when he jumps out.

Also, some of the Putties will throw bombs and turn tail.

Level 2 - Megazord

The boss here is King Sphinx.

Two pillars of dirt will appear - one in front of you, one behind. Jump over them both, then hit him. He'll keep doing this over and over, but hopefully you should be close enough to hit him in-between his attacks.

When he's at half health, run away. Jump over him when he runs to the other side of the screen, and hit him while jumping over the rocks he throws.

Level 2 - Bonus

Hit the rocks!

They'll come at two different speeds (slow and fast) while coming in at two different levels of the screen (high and low), sometimes two at a time. Stay at the very left of the screen to minimize damage.
