Triceratops

For the driving section, you'll have the Compies, just like in the Brachiosaur level. Be ready to shoot them down as they come for your vehicle so you can get them out of you way. The boss is also much like the last one, but this one in particular is a Pachycephalosaurus and has a different shaped head. The same strategy still applies, though: just keep shooting at the head, and it won't smash your vehicle.

Now it's time for the action stage. Duck down to avoid the tornadoes, and use the holes in the ground created by some of the lightning bolts to avoid and crawl past some of the tornadoes. After the tornadoes, tread carefully, as there are some dinosaurs that will jump out of the foliage in the background. These dinosaurs will take two hits, and you'll need to be ready to shoot them so they don't run back and forth.

In the second section of the action stage, watch the top of the screen, as there will be white and yellow dinosaurs that will drop down from the treetops to charge at you. Thankfully, they only take one hit to defeat. When you get to the big tree, lightning will strike, and you'll have to deal with a whole lot of fire. At least you'll be able to get around inside the big tree. Jump around and get the extra life and the red medicine, and watch out for the moving fireballs. You'll also have to shoot down one more white and yellow dinosaur at the end.

In the third section, you'll be dealing with more of the same from the first, but you'll now have to watch out for lightning hitting the water. The lightning will move in two directions in the water, and you'll need to jump over the sparks to avoid getting shocked. Grabbing onto the underside of the tree branches really helps in this section. Be sure to get the medicine in the trees if you need it. After this, you'll have a few white and yellow dinosaurs to shoot down, then it's time for the boss.

To beat the Triceratops boss, head all the way to the right and stand on the branch. Jump before the Triceratops hits the tree with its charge attack, then stay there as the triceratops kicks the dirt clods up. The Triceratops will leave, then charge at you again. This time, it will stop short of the tree and send a dirt clod your way. Jump over the dirt clod, then shoot the Triceratops in the back with the shotgun. When you score a hit, get back on the branch before the Triceratops hits you with more of the dirt clods that it sends your way. From here, the Triceratops' attack pattern will repeat.

If you used a continue at any point in the game, the game ends here, and you'll be told to do better before you can play the final stage. If you managed to get through the first four selectable stages without having to use one, you'll be able to head to the Visitor Center for the final level.
