PrinceWatercress plays Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain - Part 13 of 41

We go through a cave in order to find the Oracle of Nosgoth...and it's a long one.

North of where we start this video is the path leading to the Oracle.

0:40 - I'll be switching between the sword and the mace to break columns that are in our path as well as to break stalagmites that may contain hidden items.

The black goop monsters will throw projectiles at you and are pretty quick, so you'll need to come at them from an odd angle to hit them.

This first room goes in a loop; I go the whole loop before entering the doorway with the red glow far to the north. Watch out for arrow traps and spiked balls along the way.

6:30 - There are two doors to the north, but they are locked, so head west. One of the columns contains a blood vial, so break it with your mace. The white, zombie-lie creature will swipe at you with some long arms, so attack it from as far away as you can. You'll eventually find a glowing blue jewel in the wall; walk into it to open a door just south of where you are. You'll be back at the start. The other door to the east will be open. Go through it.

10:26 - The door to the south is closed. Follow the path and hit the jewel on the wall to open the door up ahead. You'll then end up back at the start. Look around again. You'll find a red glow in a northern wall. Go through it to enter another area. Follow the path. You'll soon see another blue jewel in a wall; walk into it. You'll open the door to the west.

By the way, if you're wondering how I make Kain look like he's holding a weapon when I've switched away from it, I equip the weapon, then I press Start right when the portrait of Kain changes. The portrait will go back to holding the previous weapon, but I'll have switched weapons when I get back into gameplay.

15:56 - You'll be back at the beginning, but there is now a door open to the north. Go through that opening and follow the path. You'll eventually come across another door.
