We complete all of the storyline missions and get all of the Regional Coins, but we're not done here yet.
Cookatiel Showdown!
Once you make your way through the door, you've got a path leading straight to the Cookatiel. Some of the islands that you'll need to land on will be moving, so watch your shadow as you jump. If you go off the beaten path, you'll find a chest containing dozens of regular coins.
You'll eventually reach another checkpoint. Hit it, then use your hat to flick your way up. There are some paths that lead to Regional Coins; thankfully, I've timestamped where they are, as always. Some of the platforms will flip back and forth between solid and lava. There will also be rolling vegetables that you will have to avoid as you walk down a narrow precipice on the way to the top.
You'll eventually reach the top, and once you're there, you'll need to jump into a cannon as a Lava Bubble to get to the Cookatiel. When the battle begins, avoid the Cookatiel and the spiky balls that it spits out as you knock down the potato chunks in the stewpot to give yourself more room to maneuver. This will net you regular coins as well as the occasional Heart. When the Cookatiel flies in place, it will spit out lava that you will have to to jump into and then move upwards in order to jump on the Cookatiel's head and do damage. The lava spit will have different patterns for each phase; the first phase will have a straight waterfall, the second will have a wavy waterfall, and the third will be globs of lava that you have jump from one to the next to get to the Cookatiel, which makes landing the final hit a little more difficult compared to the first two. After three hits, the Cookatiel goes down and you'll get Power Moon #5.
Once the Cookatiel is defeated, you're free to do what you want to do in the kingdom as well as advance to the next one.
5. Cookatiel Showdown! - Beat the Cookatiel (see above for strategies) for a Multi-Moon.
27. A Strong Simmer - Buy and equip the Chef Hat and Chef Suit at the Crazy Cap Shop in Peronza Plaza, then head to the locked door at the building next door. Since you're dressed as a chef, you'll be able to go in. Capture a Lava Bubble and jump into the nearby stewpot, then travel to the center of the pot and jump straight up to get the Power Moon.
28. An Extreme Simmer - In the same area where you get Power Moon #27, you'll need to take a Lava Bubble to the very end of the area. Destroy the Tomato enemies in such a way that you can create a path to the lava - and the stewpot - on the other side. When you jump into the stewpot here, position yourself in the center and jump straight up just like last time to get this Power Moon.
32. Light the Far-Off Lanterns - I didn't know what I did until later, so here it is: when you're back outside, kick a rock towards the Piranha Plant at the beginning of the path to the Cookatiel so it lands in the Piranha Plant's mouth. You can then take control of the Piranha Plant and spit fire at the two lanterns to get this Power Moon.
33. Bon Appétit, Captain Toad! - Captain Toad is on an island close to the edge of the kingdom near the path to the Cookatiel. You'll need a Lava Bubble to reach him. Talk to Captain Toad once you get there for a Power Moon, then take the nearby cannon as a nearby Lava Bubble to make your way back to where you left off.
35. Caught Hopping at the Volcano! - There is a Bunny near Peronza Plaza after you defeat the Cookatiel. You'll need to catch it for a Power Moon. Be ready to throw your hat as well as corner the bunny a little bit, as there are a lot of walls that the bunny can get caught near.
48. A Tourist in the Luncheon Kingdom! - You'll need to defeat the Cookatiel and have gotten the "A Tourist in the Cascade Kingdom!" Power Moon to get this one. When you return to Peronza Plaza after defeating the Cookatiel, the Tostarenan tourist and his taxi driver will be there. Talk to the tourist for a Power Moon. The tourist will then hint at where he wants to go next, which you won't get to until a little later.
