Sesame Street Countdown - The Longplay

And now, the whole game without commentary. Enjoy.

And with that, our numerical adventures are over.

Desert

Count von Count has the ability to stand on cacti? Why? I have no idea.

At least the scenry is pretty cool. There's a pueblo, some teepees and even a train.

Jungle

The sleeping dinosaurs act as stairs. Why are there dinosaurs?!?

Castle

The music makes this really feel like a final castle. At this point you'll have to collect nine of whatever you've picked and only three health to do it with.

The door at the end is the end of the game. Enter it and the game is over.

Kikoskia plays Sesame Street Countdown - Part 2 of 3

More numbers and more Count Von Count! We're going to the moon! Ah-ah-ah!

Fair

The fourth minigame is just like the subtraction one, but it's addition. You'll be changing either the first number or the second one so that both add up to the number you're collecting.

Moon

The Count can jump pretty high on Earth, but on the moon he'll jump all the way to the top of the screen. If you jump towards the number on the center of the screen, it will move up past the top of the screen. That's interesting.

I'm surprised I didn't do a Sesame Street game sooner.

It's time to count things with Count von Count!

You'll be able to choose between hopping and running as your main way of getting around at the start of the game. Running is obviously less ridiculous.

Sesame Street

At the beginning of every level, you'll choose a number between 1 and 10. Whichever number you select is the one you'll be collecting throughout the level. You must either find the number or a bunch of things that add up to the number you're collecting, and they'll be both be floating in the air.

The question mark balloons take you to a bonus level. Hit the underside of the block to see which number is underneath, and if it contains the number you're looking for hit, jump up and hit the bell to get the number.

If you're within range of grabbing something, it'll flash when you're nearby.

The Count can jump pretty high...and he bounces when he hits the ground for reasons that are never explained. The ground can't be that bouncy, can it?

You'll be able to climb fences and street lamps by holding Up on the Control Pad.

You'll be collecting a certain number of things that equal the number you're collecting. When you successfully do this, the numbers change into lightning bolts and fill the gauge in the upper right. You'll need to fill it completely to leave the level. Lightning bolts that are out in the open fill up the gauge in the upper-right automatically when you grab them.

The gauge in the upper left is your health. It will go down if you collect any numbers other than the one you've chosen, so be careful.

The sign with the arrow is the end of the level. Just keep going and you'll exit. You'll head back to the Count's castle and check out all the extra numbers you collected as they bounce around near the castle.

Park

As you go through the game, your health will decrease by one unit. The amount of numbers you need to collect will also slowly increase.

You can climb trees here.

The second minigame involves a barrel and a glass tube. You must empty the hearts from the glass tube into the barrel by hitting the switch below it. If the number you picked is one, for example, you'll need to have one heart in the glass tube. If you need to fill up the glass tube, hit the switch below the barrel. When you're done, hit the bell.

Zoo

The third bonus game is a subtraction problem. You'll want to change the number in the middle so that the answer is the number you're collecting.
