We'll be doing quite a bit of exploration in this video, but once we do, we'll be close to the end of the game.
The Mixmash is actually a new enemy, despite what I thought. It is weak against Flame magic and Strong against Freeze magic, and can cast Freeze 3. It gives 262 Experience and 630 Gold, and also has a chance of dropping a Suncut, which is the fourth-best weapon in the game and even better than the Gold Sword dropped by the Espresso!
Yochoke can cast Speed, Slow and Freeze 3, but since we're so powerful, that doesn't end up happening. It gives 255 Experience and 840 Gold, and has a chance of dropping Gold Armor, which is the fifth-best armor in the game, so if you get it, pick it up.
The shadowy figure here is actually a vendor, and if you talk to him, you can get Med 4-5 scrolls that can fully restore your HP in one use. You can also buy any of the three Regains as well as Fix, which is a complete HP and MP restore as mentioned earlier. Hope you've got money!
You'll eventually make it out of the cave, where you'll see another inn. Be sure to use it and save before exploring further. If your HP goes anywhere below 200, heal up so you can survive. Here, you'll encounter Lazedisc, which can cast Bolt 3. It gives 259 Experience and 908 Gold upon defeat.
Goo Man can cast Stick to briefly stun you, but that is all they can really do. Goo Man drops 264 Experience and 1118 Gold, which is a lot of Gold at this point.
Snockle can cast Confuse, Flame 3 and Freeze 3. It drops 268 Experience and 612 Gold, and has a chance of dropping a Fix, which is nice to get for free if you can pull it off.
When you reach the end of the area, Gum Drop will tell you that her magic power has run out, but at least you will be safe. Won Ton Village will be to the west. Head there.
By talking around, you'll find out that the Salmon Cape to the south shares a border with Burger, and that it is known for its strong winds. You also won't be able to get to Burger by ship due to the strong tides. You'll also find out that Steak, who lives in a house in the northwest corner of the village, has been making a huge kite, and that kites are popular in Won Ton Village. It just so happens that Steak makes huge kites that are unable to fly.
At the magic shop, you can get Bolt 4 and Heal 4. Bolt 4 is the most powerful version of Bolt, while Heal 4 will fully heal you at the cost of 16 MP.
At the weapons and armor shop, only get the Rapier if you haven't gotten the Gold Sword or the Suncut. The Silver armors will be better than the Steel armors, but if you have the Gold Shield, the Gold Armor, or Gold Helmet, don't even buy any of the Silver equivalents, as the Gold versions will be stronger.
Steak will be living in the house to the left of the weapons and armor shop, and he will have a kite in front of him.
Heading south from Won Ton Village on the overworld map takes you to Salmon Cape. If you head all the way south, Gum Drop will get the idea to ride one of Steak's kites over to the other side. If you go back to town and talk to Steak, he will tell you that he has no talent at flying kites, but that Mr. Noodle, who is traveling here from over the mountains and arriving at any moment, may be able to help you out, and he will tell you to head to the mountain exit to wait for him.
You may encounter the Wingworm outside of Won Ton Village. It is strong against Freeze magic and can cast Fly and Freeze 3. It gives 275 Experience and 1318 Gold upon defeat, and has a chance of dropping a Silver Shield.
