Now that we've somehow traveled safely through the world of the ants, we're now in a garbage heap. At least the difficulty lets up here, and we run into a rather familiar face.
Trash Dump
The tanks will push you forwards, causing you to be unable to move if it runs into you. Get away from it, then shoot it in the back to destroy it.
There will be a lot of bouncing robots and turrets in this stage; be ready for them. Along the way, look around for switches to hit so you can activate platforms and other things.
For the points above the fall-away platforms, jump over the middle platform and save it for last.
The door near the pushable block contains the blue shard. Take the ladders over the spike The hostage here is Commander Keen. Fun fact: the game's engine was based on the one for the EGA episodes (the fourth, fifth and sixth) of Commander Keen.
